the system ui is cool but Isaac is kind of dense

honestly don't know why I keep reading these system stories when they always end up making me a bit frustrated, but the whole Bonded Blessings mechanic is actually pretty clever for a harem setup. It beats the usual trope where the protagonist just gets strong for no reason because at least here he has to actually interact with people to level up his stats, although I'm pretty sure he didn't unlock that fire-breathing skill until like chapter twenty even though it felt like it should've happened way earlier. The part where he's in that first walled stronghold and spends way too much time describing the bland soup everyone is eating was a bit much, like I get it's the apocalypse but we don't need a food critic segment in the middle of a monster raid. The power scaling feels a bit wonky sometimes, he goes from being a total nobody to suddenly outclassing guys who have been training for years and no one really questions it? Kind of a stretch. Still, it's a fun ride if you don't think too hard about the logic, plus the comedy beats actually landed for me which is rare for these. Just wish the romance felt a bit more earned instead of just being a byproduct of the system menu popping up every five seconds.
