The stat panel grind is fun but the noble stuff is weird

honestly found myself getting way too into the whole breathing technique thing, like the specific part where he has to regulate his lungs while swinging that heavy practice sword actually made me feel like I was getting a workout just sitting on my couch. It’s got that classic zero-to-hero vibe that usually works for me even if the whole 'fallen noble' trope is laid on a bit thick at the start, I mean his family lost literally everything but he still acts like he’s too good to talk to the commoners for the first few chapters which annoyed me. The proficiency panel is definitely the best part though because seeing the little numbers go up is basically digital crack, it reminds me of those old school RPGs where you’d just stay in the starting forest for five hours to max out your stats before even talking to the king. I think the translation got a bit wonky around the time he meets that first wizard teacher guy, I’m pretty sure his name changed spellings like three times in one chapter which made it hard to follow who was actually talking. It's a solid read if you like watching a guy slowly turn into a god through sheer manual labor, even if the pacing gets a bit sluggish once he leaves the knight academy area.
