the seven wives thing is a bit much honestly

honestly found myself liking the world building more than the actual fights, even if the whole 'Ding!' system notification trope is getting a bit old these days. It’s got that classic isekai vibe where the guy just wakes up in a body that isn't his, and I actually liked the part where he sees those memories of the previous dragon king being a total loser and decides he's not going out like that. It made the 21st-century perspective feel somewhat useful for once, though I'm pretty sure he was a software dev or something in his past life which doesn't really explain how he's suddenly a tactical genius. My main gripe is the harem situation because trying to keep track of seven different goddesses is a total headache, half the time I forget which one is the fire goddess and which one is supposed to be the ice one since they all sort of blend together after the third volume. The romance feels way too fast, like they're just instantly obsessed with him because of the system's influence or whatever, it's a bit of a slog to get through the domestic scenes when I just want to see him burn down a kingdom. Still, if you like watching a regular dude become an absolute powerhouse and cheat his way through a fantasy world, it's a fun enough read for a weekend.
