the part about the luck stealing ritual made me pretty annoyed
still can't wrap my head around how some characters are just born with the cheat codes to the universe while everyone else is out here grinding for scraps in the dirt, honestly. It's that classic thing where the main guy gets the supreme cultivation techniques basically handed to him because his destiny is just better than yours. I liked the bit where his cousin or whatever tried to siphon off his family luck using that weird bronze mirror thing, it felt so petty and realistic for a clan dynamic but the fight ended way too fast for my liking. The author spends ages talking about the cosmic energy levels, then the actual confrontation is over in like two pages. My biggest gripe is probably how the luck system makes everything feel a bit unearned, like he doesn't actually have to try that hard because the stars are literally aligning for him every five minutes. Still, it's a fun read if you just want to see a guy win constantly, I just wish the side characters didn't feel like total NPCs sometimes.
