the part about the giant pits really got me thinking
still can't get over how those massive chasms just opened up and swallowed whole cities, it makes the usual zombie swarm stuff feel almost small in comparison. Honestly, I'm a sucker for a good base-building gimmick and putting it all on a moving train is such a cool vibe even if it feels a bit like that one movie with the ice train, but the way he has to scrounge for parts while the world is literally cracking open kept me up way too late last night. I did think the blizzard stuff started to drag a bit around the middle, like we get it it is very cold outside, and I actually forgot if his sister or his cousin was the one who helped him find the first engine upgrade because the names started blurring together after a while. The action is pretty solid though and I love how the train feels like its own character, I just wish the dialogue didn't get so repetitive whenever he encounters a new group of survivors who obviously want to steal his stuff. It's a fun ride if you can ignore some of the more over-the-top technical explanations that don't really make sense.
