the alchemy stuff is cool but the main guy is kind of a jerk

honestly found myself sticking with it way longer than I planned because of that whole thing where he wakes up after a hundred years and just expects everyone to bow down, it's pretty funny how he treats the supposed masters like they are toddlers. The part where he makes that first batch of pills and hits a one hundred percent success rate made me grin, it's such a ridiculous flex to just decide failure isn't an option anymore. I do wish the side characters had more of a backbone though, because right now it feels like everyone is just there to be shocked by how awesome he is and it gets a bit repetitive after a while. Also I'm pretty sure he lived for like a thousand years before he died the first time but he acts like a hormonal teenager whenever the harem stuff starts up, which is a weird vibe for a legendary saint. Still it's a solid choice if you just want to see a guy absolutely destroy his enemies without breaking a sweat, I just hope the stakes actually get higher soon.
