Yandere Levelling in Her World Chapter 207 208: Fight!
Previously on Yandere Levelling in Her World...
The chamber vibrated as Nina let out a furious roar, charging like a savage beast. Her newly acquired colossal greatsword pulsed with volatile power.
With her full might, she brought the weapon down. The blade then impacted the floor where Mei had been moments before, sending debris of concrete hurtling outwards in all directions.
Mei guffawed, still completely unclothed, with Ren's seed cascading down her thighs. Her countenance abruptly contorted and transformed.
With a burst of dense, black smoke, she vanished, only to reappear ten feet distant. In this new form, she appeared as an entirely different woman: short black hair, sharp eyes, and a wicked smirk. The smoke writhed around her hands, coalescing into dark tendrils.
"You two will soon discover you are not allies," she declared in a derisive tone. "You will turn on each other shortly. Just you wait and see."
Nina paid no heed. She spun her greatsword and struck the ground once more. Explosions erupted in a straight line, surging towards Mei. Boom, boom, boom – the concussive blasts tore up the flooring in a relentless barrage of pure devastation.
"I couldn't care less about the falsehoods you spew, you bitch," Nina snarled. "I'm finishing you right here."
Kyouka moved with blinding speed, appearing beside Nina. She focused, and a simple domain expanded outwards, encompassing them all. The very air shimmered like a delicate membrane. Within its confines, all slowed slightly for their adversaries, while accelerating for herself and Nina.
Her enhanced agility made her a blur as she lunged from the side. "Take this!" she cried, unleashing a torrent of knives that curved unnaturally within the domain.
Mei evaded the thrown blades with practiced ease, though one managed to graze her shoulder. She hissed, her features shifting once again. Now, long red hair flowed down as she adopted soft, innocent features, appearing as a completely new individual.
Her body became alight with incredible speed. She transformed into a streak of luminescence, zipping around the domain faster than the eye could track. "You believe your paltry bubble can contain me?" she taunted, circling them. "Pathetic."
In an instant, she materialized behind Nina and delivered a powerful kick to her back. Nina staggered but retaliated with a wild swing of her greatsword.
The explosive blade narrowly missed Mei, instead blasting a gaping hole in the wall. "Damn you!" Nina roared, swinging repeatedly like a possessed automaton. Each impact caused the entire structure to tremble. "I will obliterate you for touching Ren!"
Kyouka maintained the steadfastness of the domain, her gaze fixed, searching for any weakness to exploit and end the woman who inexplicably kept pursuing Ren.
Mei laughed again, her face morphing yet another time. This time, she resembled a tall, elegant woman with silvery hair and frigid blue eyes. Frost began to encase her hands. She hurled razor-sharp icicles at Kyouka, all while maintaining her blinding velocity.
The domain managed to impede some of the projectiles, but not all. One icicle pierced Kyouka's leg. "Ahh!" Kyouka gasped, yet stubbornly persisted in the fight.
The battle raged onward. Nina continued her relentless assault with the greatsword. Explosions illuminated the darkened room, dazzling like a pyrotechnic display.
She charged through the obscuring smoke and debris as if unstoppable. "Perish already!" she screamed, bringing the blade down in a colossal overhead arc.
The resulting explosion sent Mei hurtling backwards, but Mei rolled with the impact and rose, chuckling.
Mei’s visage shifted yet again, now appearing as a petite maiden with golden curls and a sweet smile that belied her lethal gaze. With a snap of her fingers, flames erupted from the floor directly beneath Nina.
Fiery tendrils licked at Nina’s legs, but the berserker simply bellowed and stomped them out. "My sword cleaves through all!" Nina bellowed, swinging wildly once more. "You cannot incinerate me!"
Kyouka strengthened the domain, constricting its boundaries. She darted around Mei at high speed, her knives flashing.
Mei dodged, her face morphing yet again into a woman adorned with purple hair and glowing tattoos. Now, she employed telekinesis, levitating and hurling chunks of broken masonry at both combatants.
Nina completely disregarded Mei’s transformation. She lunged forward like an engine of destruction, bringing her greatsword down in a devastating spinning attack. Explosions cascaded, blasting Mei off her feet.
Kyouka seized the opportunity, pressing her advantage with her dagger, striking Mei with mechanical precision.
Mei coughed up blood but managed a smile. Her features reverted to a semblance of her original appearance, though her eyes held a different glow.
She mended the wound with a surge of dark energy and accelerated forward once more. "Fools!" she hissed.
"Ren, come support me, my love," she suddenly implored, shouting towards him. "Show them you adore me more. Come here and fight alongside your true beloved."
Ren remained seated on the wall's edge, still unclothed and breathing heavily. He observed the three women locked in combat.
His head throbbed from the overwhelming events. Visions of demise and treachery replayed in his mind. As Mei called out to him, Kyouka faltered for a mere fraction of a second.
Her eyes widened in disbelief. "Ren," she whispered, her heart clenching. But then she saw he remained motionless, not moving to join Mei.
Kyouka inhaled deeply in relief and resumed her assault. "Thank the heavens!" she muttered to herself.
Ren vigorously rubbed his temples. His thoughts churned frantically.
He wondered if Anna was truly gone, the girl he had cherished in this peculiar world. Mei had mentioned dispatching someone already, a thought that churned his gut.
Could a woman who professed such deep affection for him commit such an act? He still grasped so little about Mei, her true identity remained a mystery.
Yet, a strange resonance within his chest urged him onward, an inexplicable pull. Those visions hinted at a profound connection between them, though its nature eluded him.
Rising slowly, he cradled his throbbing head. The incessant pain wouldn't cease. Without a word, he turned, his steps faltering as he retreated from the battlefield, making his way towards the fractured wall and the passage beyond.
The three women, engrossed in their fierce struggle, simultaneously halted, their gazes snapping towards his departing form.
Nina lowered her colossal blade slightly, her breath catching. "What the hell!" she exclaimed, her eyes fixed on Kyouka.
Kyouka, equally stunned, watched him go, her domain wavering momentarily. "Ren!" she called out softly, but he continued his steady pace.
Mei's expression conveyed the deepest sorrow. Her features softened, and tears welled in her eyes, streaking through the blood that adorned her wounded body. "Ren, wait..." she pleaded, her voice choked with emotion. Her bare skin, slick with sweat and bodily fluids, glistened as she attempted to pursue him. "Baby, please don't leave me like this."
She had taken only two steps when a golden spear materialized, striking the ground directly before her feet. The impact reverberated through the structure, a violent tremor that split the floor. Mei skidded to an abrupt halt, mere inches from the wicked point. Nina and Kyouka recoiled as a volley of spears rained down from above.
All three women simultaneously looked upward.
An angelic figure hovered in the air, suspended above the devastated chamber. Her wings radiated pure, ethereal white, and her form shimmered with a light akin to the sun.
A cluster of golden spears was clutched in one hand. She gazed down at the women below, her eyes glowing with a chilling, impassive light. Her beauty was undeniable, yet utterly devoid of warmth or compassion.
Ren continued his retreat, not once glancing back. He strode through the rubble and disappeared into the encroaching darkness of the hallway.
The angel shifted her grip, and another spear plummeted earthward the instant Mei attempted to advance. It embedded itself between Mei and Ren, forcing her to leap backward. Nina raised her sword, but a spear impacted the ground before her, erupting in a blinding flash of light.
Kyouka attempted to surge forward within her domain, only to be halted by two spears that crossed ominously in her path.
The angel continued her barrage, launching spear after spear. Each time one of the three women made a move to follow Ren, a new spear materialized, barring their progress. It was as if she were meticulously carving out a secure passage for his escape, an impassable barrier preventing any interference.
Mei stood there, exposed and seething, gazing upwards. "Who are you?" she demanded.
Nina tightened her grip on her greatsword.
Kyouka's eyes narrowed in suspicion.
The angel offered no reply. She simply ascended higher, her wings beating with a slow, deliberate rhythm. Spears continued to descend, forming a shimmering golden wall that separated them from Ren.
Observing Ren's receding figure from a closer vantage point, the angel tilted her head. Her lips moved almost imperceptibly.
"The game master must survive," she whispered. "For the death game has already commenced... protect the game master at all costs!"
Ren's footsteps echoed faintly down the corridor. The three women remained frozen beneath the relentless hail of spears, their eyes fixed on his disappearing form. The structure still groaned from the earlier conflict, but a new, profound silence now settled over the scene.
The angel's eyes intensified their glow as she stood sentinel at the exit. The yandere death game had undeniably begun, and no one would be permitted to impede the game master's departure. Not yet.
Mei clenched her fists, her face contorting one final time into an expression of pure rage mingled with desolate sorrow. "This is far from over!" she vowed, her voice a fierce whisper. "I will find you again, Ren. You belong to me."
With those parting words, she vanished from the area, exploiting the angel's intervention as a diversion.
Nina and Kyouka exchanged a significant glance. Their gazes met, conveying a silent accord. The notion of turning against each other, as Mei had previously suggested, was momentarily set aside.
However, the celestial guardian above them made it abundantly clear: this situation transcended their current understanding.
The spears ceased their descent only when Ren had completely vanished from view. The angel folded her luminous wings and dematerialized in a blinding flash of light, leaving Kyouka and Nina alone amidst the wreckage. The battle was suspended, but the true game had just awakened.
