Bai E and Astra pursued pursuers into a hidden passage, which sealed behind them. Inside, they discovered a vast hall containing a mysterious projection on a throne. This ancient entity revealed that the "Creators," also known as "Golden Humans," once ruled the universe alongside material divinities, until a great war shattered the balance.

"The origin of the war is now lost to time—perhaps a clash of principles, a fight for limited resources, or maybe... simply the inevitable reach and pride that comes with reaching a peak. The 'Creators' and the deities of the material universe engaged in a final conflict that engulfed the entire known cosmos. That cataclysm... obliterated countless star systems, warped the very fabric of physical laws, and even strained the delicate veil separating the material universe from higher dimensions."

"We, the 'Star Remnant Clan'..." The entity finally acknowledged its own kind.

"Became collateral damage in that conflict. We were not products of the 'Creators,' but a civilization that flourished independently, dedicating ourselves to the study of life and the pursuit of immortality. Our path led us to merge our consciousness with specially engineered 'living metal,' seeking unending knowledge and existence within a form resembling machinery. Unfortunately, the residual energy from that war annihilated our homeworld and extinguished any possibility of our race's continuation. Only a handful of us, like myself, managed to survive, ensconced within special 'Static Field Domains' or deep-space installations... existing in this state between life and death, persisting to this day."

It paused, the spectral blue flames casting shadows on Bai E and Astra, as if gauging their comprehension of a burden spanning millennia, perhaps even eons.

"The war between the 'Creators' and the material universe's gods concluded in mutual destruction. The 'Creator' civilization vanished entirely, and the gods of the material universe... largely perished, their essence shattering into what you now occasionally discover in the cosmos as 'Divine Fragments.'"

"Yet, the war's most profound consequence was not felt within the material universe itself." The ancient will's voice deepened, "Its impact resonated through high-dimensional space."

"During the zenith of the 'Creator' civilization, they possessed the capacity to meticulously sift and cleanse high-dimensional space. Originally, this realm was a mirroring and repository of the collective thoughts, emotions, and wills of intelligent beings—akin to a vast, turbulent ocean of information. The 'Creators' would periodically engage in rituals or employ technologies to comb, guide, and... 'purify' these chaotic 'thought currents,' preventing their excessive accumulation, distortion, and the genesis of entities possessing independent will and destructive impetus. In that era, 'high-dimensional space,' while alive with intense emotional currents, resembled more a comparatively 'serene' sea of spiritual essence.

"However, following the downfall of the 'Creator' civilization, this regular 'combing' and 'purification' utterly ceased."

The ancient will's narration unveiled the genesis of demonic entities, "Without guidance or restraint, those extreme, corrupted, and negative emotions coalesced in high-dimensional space—the fervor of conflict, the dread of the unknown, the yearning for annihilation, the despair born of suffering—they began to spontaneously and uncontrollably condense, magnify, and gradually foster independent consciousnesses. These nascent wills greedily assimilated similar emotions radiating from intelligent beings within the material universe, relentlessly augmenting their own power, ultimately... transforming into the 'High-dimensional Evil Gods,' or as you now know them in your fear, 'Demons.'"

"Initially, three such evil gods emerged." It stated with precision, "Born from the extreme convergence of the most ancient and pervasive negative emotions: 'war,' 'deceit,' and 'pestilence.' They materialized in the protracted chaos that followed the 'Creators'' demise. The fourth... 'covetousness,' came into being much later and is intrinsically linked to a race known as the 'Elves,' whose emotional spectrum is inherently sensitive and potent."

A profound silence descended upon the hall.

Astra and the Golden Federation scholars within his mecha were rendered speechless by the immensity of these unimaginable ancient revelations.

This explained the origin of the "Divine Fragments," the very source of high-dimensional demons, and even partially illuminated why certain races seemed particularly susceptible to specific demonic influences!

Bai E listened intently, as fragmented insights within his mind began to coalesce.

He recalled Helen's descriptions of the "Divine Fragments," the "Ancient Clock" artifact's peculiar aura of operating beyond contemporary technology, as if it "solidified fundamental laws," and his own grasp of the existential threat posed by high-dimensional evil gods.

It transpired that behind all these phenomena lay the legacy of a cosmic-scale war, an event so ancient and steeped in tragedy.

But... that was an epoch far, far removed from their current reality.

Astra, jolted from his stupor, perceived the ancient presence of the 'Star Remnant Clan' before him as a living chronicle of universal history, its repository of knowledge seemingly infinite.

However, his immediate concerns were far more pressing at this juncture.

"Esteemed being," Astra's voice resonated with genuine urgency, "We are indebted to you for revealing this lost history, which has indeed illuminated our comprehension of the cosmos. Yet, as you can observe, our current universe confronts a new and formidable threat—the Bug Race.

These beings consume entire planets, decimate civilizations, and advance their expansion with alarming rapidity. Our own civilizations, including the Golden Federation and the esteemed Bai E's New Bauhinia, are locked in a desperate struggle against them. We have journeyed to your 'Silent Royal Court' in the hope of acquiring technology or knowledge that transcends our present capabilities, thereby enhancing our strength to repel the Bug Race and safeguard our homelands. The legacy you preserve from the 'Star Remnant Clan,' and perhaps from the 'Creator,' may well hold the salvation of our civilizations. We earnestly implore your aid."

Astra's impassioned plea was representative of the Golden Federation's stance, and indeed, that of many mainstream civilizations within the Star Alliance, in their confrontation with the Bug Race menace.

The figure seated upon the throne, with its serene, eerie blue flames, betrayed no discernible emotional response to Astra's fervent appeal.

A moment of silence ensued, its cold gaze sweeping over Astra before settling upon the 'Star Emperor' mecha piloted by Bai E.

Under its scrutiny, Bai E experienced an unsettling sensation of being completely deciphered, not merely his mecha, but it felt as though his very spiritual energy, combat prowess, and even more profound personal attributes were being laid bare.

Then, the ancient will's voice echoed once more, tinged with a faint undercurrent of utter detachment, perhaps even... bewilderment?

"The Bug Race...mere primitive plunderers that devour planets...are indeed a nuisance." It acknowledged their existence and the threat they posed, yet its tone remained distant. "However, this is a challenge that the civilization of your era must confront independently. The 'Star Remnant Clan' has long since passed into history; I am but a lingering specter. The legacy of the 'Creators'...is not a mere tool for managing threats of this magnitude. The cost of war, once learned, should suffice."

Its refusal was unequivocally clear.

Nevertheless, its subsequent utterance left both Astra and Bai E utterly stunned.

The ancient will's "gaze" fixed upon Bai E, the eerie blue flame flickering almost imperceptibly. "Regarding the crisis you speak of...with him present, why do you harbor such anxieties?"

"Him?" Astra instinctively shifted his attention towards Bai E's mecha.

"This individual..." For the first time, the ancient will's voice adopted an analytical tone, though it remained characteristically cold.

"His spiritual energy essence...is most peculiar. It aligns neither with a pure 'Creator' legacy nor with that of an ordinary Spiritual Ability User. His very existence appears to possess an innate 'resistance' and 'attraction' towards the high-dimensional chaos, the 'noise,' and those extraneous plunderers? It presents a paradox, yet seems unified...he has traversed high-dimensional space, brushed against 'fragments,' and even...momentarily influenced 'rules.'"

A brief pause followed, as if a deeper realization was dawning.

"Seeking the technology of the 'Silent Royal Court' to combat the Bug Race?" The ancient will's voice now held a remarkably subtle, almost sneering inflection.

"You already possess a more direct, and perhaps far more perilous, 'key.' Yet, it appears you do not fully grasp how to utilize him, or perhaps...you are hesitant to truly unleash his potential."

Having delivered these words, the immense will began its slow, tide-like withdrawal.
