The Supreme Apostles attempt to fuse thirteen Apostle essences at great cost. Maggs expresses concern over the project's complexity and the host's stability, while Isabella worries about failure. Nas senses a convergence of destiny and an external influence aiding their plan. Maggs must leave to manage the Ranking Match warm-ups, suspecting Nari's recent unusual stability is more than just the chaos she embodies. Their project has also attracted the attention of a deeper, more powerful existence within the Abyss.

"We must accelerate our pace even further." Maggs continued to manipulate the threads:

"Regardless, the creation of the seed needs to be finalized within this next cycle. As for the anomaly on the fifth layer... let the warming contest uncover the truth."

......

Within a warped dimension deep in the Abyss, reality's edge shimmers like disturbed water.

This peculiar meeting hall, assembled from fractured pieces of space, serves as the personal domain of the "Fissure Demon" Kempes.

Kempes materialized from a spatial rift, his appearance notably grotesque:

His limbs and torso existed in disparate planes, with his left arm here and his right leg several meters away in another fragment.

Each movement saw his scattered body parts reassemble, creating an illusion of disjointed yet strangely synchronized motion.

"Welcome, fellow comrades," he boomed.

Kempes’s voice, artificially layered, reverberated through the space from countless dimensions simultaneously:

"Our assembly today concerns the recent peculiar shifts observed on the fifth layer."

Shadows stirred restlessly, as if unseen beings were stirring from slumber in the gloom.

From the encroaching darkness emerged the "Silent Pastor" Delir, his very presence chilling the entire area by several degrees.

Delir's form resembled an ancient, hollowed-out cathedral.

Visible within his chest cavity, countless souls drifted aimlessly.

These were once devout clergymen, now eternally imprisoned within him.

"The fifth layer has indeed become... rather intriguing," Delir intoned.

His voice, like a subterranean echo from the underworld, carried the mournful cries of souls with every syllable:

"My informants have returned with perplexing intelligence; the patterns we once knew no longer seem to apply."

Green, spectral flames ignited within his eye sockets, surveying every being present:

"Specifically within Nari’s territory, the transformations have surpassed all expectations."

Slowly, another figure emerged: "Erosion by Time" Kro.

He appeared as a statue ravaged by millennia, his body's surface etched with deep fissures from the relentless march of ages.

With every subtle motion he made, the flow of time in his vicinity warped.

In certain spots, time froze mid-motion, with airborne dust particles hanging suspended;

In others, time accelerated dramatically, causing stones to visibly crumble before one's eyes.

"Nari’s alterations are the most pronounced," Kro stated.

The weight of ages resonated in his voice, like the rustle of ancient parchment in a forgotten library:

"A mere month prior, she was naught but a creature of pure chaos, driven solely by destructive impulses.

My temporal observations indicated her actions were entirely erratic, devoid of any discernible logic."

He stroked the time-worn grooves on his chin with his fingers:

"Yet now... the level of rationality and strategic thinking she exhibits surpasses that of most regular apostles.

The speed of this metamorphosis is utterly unprecedented in my extensive observational history."

Kempes’s disembodied parts swiveled in unison towards Kro, the spatial fissures around him constricting slightly from his focused attention:

"Your perception of the temporal flow is invariably the most acute; could you elaborate on the extent of this transformation?"

"Allow me a moment to consider..." Kro extended a hand, a faint pulse emanating from his fingertips:

"To illustrate, let us quantify rationality on a scale of one to one hundred. A standard Abyss Awakened hovers around twenty, a High Tier nearing apostle status might be fifty or sixty, and we apostles are typically around eighty.

In this regard, even the Supreme Apostles show no fundamental difference from us. Based on my observations, Lord Maggs’ rationality registers approximately eighty-five."

As he spoke, a profound sense of dread flickered in his eyes:

"Nari’s rationality level, just a month ago, was about fifteen. Now, it is at least ninety."

The internal prayers within Delir intensified dramatically, a chorus of warnings emanating from hundreds of souls simultaneously:

"I can offer more direct proof," he declared.

His voice took on a somber tone, and the bell within his cathedral-like form began to toll slowly:

"My legion of followers attempted reconnaissance missions into Nari’s territory twice, and the consequences were..."

Delir paused, the souls trapped within his chest stirring with palpable unease:

"The initial contingent consisted of twelve High-Level Spectres, all formerly of bishop rank, possessing significant intellect and stealth capabilities.

They were consumed by a Chaos Storm roughly a hundred miles from the Sea of Darkness, vanishing without transmitting any final data."

"And the second group?" Kempes’s multi-layered voices inquired in unison, the spatial fissures around him vibrating intensely due to his agitated state.

"I commissioned the spirits of thirty fallen pastors, each endowed with divine abilities for evading detection."

Delir’s tone grew even more grim:

"They, too, failed to send back any information before disappearing, as if utterly erased by an unseen, powerful will.

“This incredibly effective method of cleansing reminds me of techniques employed by some of the Supreme Apostles,” Kro mused, nodding slowly. “I’ve faced similar circumstances. The Observation Claws we deployed couldn’t breach the defenses of Nari’s territory, and the passage of time within it displayed distortions I cannot fathom,” Kro replied. “That is truly unusual.” Kro affirmed, as temporal rifts flickered into and out of existence around him. “This power… the Chaos Power Nari now wields might be potent enough to rewrite localized reality. Such an impact on the environment is typically observed only in Supreme Apostles.” Kempes's limbs started to shake, and fragments of space around him produced faint grinding noises, akin to glass groaning under immense strain.
