Ron accepts the monstrous Nari's affection, calling her the 'Eye of the Abyss'. In return, Nari unveils a massive, custom-built laboratory filled with powerful alchemy tools and Chaos Energy conduits. She also presents Ron with his enhanced Stand-In Puppet, now fluent in Abyssal languages and combat, and a drastically upgraded 'Explorer One' golem capable of space manipulation and emergency teleportation.

Its voice, no longer a synthesized monotone, now flowed with a natural rhythm and distinct personality.

"Mother, your devotion deeply moves me."

Ron spoke with genuine sincerity, even as his mind swiftly assessed the value of these enhancements. Each upgrade, whether to the laboratory facilities or the Stand-In Puppet and Golem, represented a substantial investment of resources.

Simultaneously, he keenly perceived that Nari’s generous support masked more profound needs from her.

"However..." he paused, his tone shifting to one of gentle seriousness: "I hope you will not excessively deplete your origin power for my sake in the future. Your health and safety are far more important than any gift."

Upon hearing his words, Nari’s myriad eyes sparkled. "Child... you are concerned about your mother's well-being?" Her voice quivered with joy. "Is there truly someone... who cares if Mother gets hurt?"

Countless tentacles swayed gently, and the entire palace’s waters rippled with the warmth of her emotions.

"Of course," Ron affirmed with a firm nod. "You are among the most cherished beings in this world to me, and your well-being is directly linked to my future." Nari, as his most vital ally and protector within the Abyss, directly influenced his standing in this realm.

"So..." Nari inquired cautiously, "what kind of experiment does my child wish to conduct? Mother can provide any assistance!"

"Firstly, I intend to refine an ancient magic potion," Ron explained, detailing his plan. "This potion significantly boosts cognitive abilities, but its traditional formula carries excessive side effects. I aim to leverage the Abyss’s unique environment to optimize and enhance the formula."

He produced the bottle of Thought Expansion Potion, pilfered by Eve, from his Spatial Bag. "This is a sample of the original potion. I have already conducted a detailed analysis and restoration of its components, and now it is time to implement the specific configuration plan."

Nari’s numerous eyes converged on the potion bottle, performing a thorough scan. "An intriguing formula... Mother can sense the intricate energy structure within." She contemplated for a moment. "If we incorporate the 'Shining Grass' found deeper within the Abyss, along with the stabilizing factor present in Mother's blood... it should be possible to preserve the effect while mitigating most of the Spirit-heavy side effects."

"Are you willing to provide a blood sample?" Ron asked, pleasantly surprised by her readiness.

"Of course! If you need it, child, Mother's blood, life essence, or even soul fragments are all yours!" Nari responded without hesitation, already beginning to secrete precious blood essence from her tentacle tips. "Everything Mother possesses belongs to you; there is no need for politeness."

This unwavering devotion sent a familiar pang through Ron's heart. He recalled his recent thoughts on emotional anchors. Nari's profound maternal affection was slowly thawing the frozen sentiments within him once more. The process was gradual, akin to melting ice with gentle warmth...

Noticing that her child seemed lost in thought, Nari waved a tentacle before his eyes. "Baby, if there is anything else you require, Mother will prepare it all for you. Just tell me what materials you need!"

Ron let out a soft sigh. He could now be considered part of the 'Crown Prince Faction' within the Abyss. At the very least, on the fifth layer, Nari's protection allowed him to move without hindrance. However, the deeper Nari's ancient affection for him, the greater his sense of responsibility became. He had to ensure he could grow stronger rapidly and provide sufficient reciprocal support, preventing this precious relationship from becoming a one-sided drain.
