Ron learns about the time acceleration within the Abyss and its amplified effect on power transformation, making it a crucial path for ascension, despite its dangers. Uther advises Ron that the Abyss is the ideal place for magic compression and the ritual to become a Great Wizard. Ron also inquires about Uphemia, who has returned with the mark of an Abyssal Apostle, and Uther notes her controlled behavior and affinity for the Blood Race, suggesting Ron handle any interactions with her carefully.

"Here, my Void Power is strongest and can provide sufficient... protection."

A profound insight flickered within his eyes:

"The Void Mark I’ve placed upon her can serve as a shield against most external interferences within the Observation Station's radius.

Even the King of Blood would find it challenging to observe her activities from here."

This revelation resonated deeply within Ron's heart.

It appeared Uther had foreseen Aiden's monitoring capabilities and had already established corresponding defenses.

"Thank you for the warning, Professor."

"No need for such formalities."

Uther dismissed the thanks with a wave of his hand:

"Your progress is vital to the entire Observation Station; therefore, providing essential assistance is my duty."

After a moment of contemplation, Ron brought up the secondary reason for his visit:

"Furthermore, I wish to request permission to return to the Central Lands next week to attend to some crucial personal matters."

"Certainly." Uther readily consented:

"A scheduled airship is departing the day after tomorrow. I shall arrange your passage. Do you require special transit authorization?"

"If feasible, I would like to transport some specialized experimental equipment and materials."

Ron recalled his portable workshop:

"And two assistants; they must accompany me to the Central Lands as well."

"Not a problem." Uther nodded: "I will secure a dedicated cargo compartment for you. Given your current standing, this request falls well within the bounds of reasonable entitlement."

As they finalized the arrangements, a soft knock sounded at the office door.

"Enter," Uther called out.

The door creaked open, revealing a delicate figure standing in the entryway.

It was Chloe, the sightless young woman from the Astrology Association.

She was still adorned with a black silk blindfold, and her silver hair cascaded down her shoulders like a flowing river.

Upon sensing the presence of others in the room, she hesitated for a moment.

"Apologies, Professor, I was unaware you had company..."

Her voice, as gentle as a whisper, carried a faint undercurrent of apprehension.

"It's quite alright, Chloe."

Uther offered a warm smile:

"Allow me to introduce you. This is Ron Ralph, a distinguished senior researcher at the Abyssal Observation Station and the deputy leader of the New Star Project."

He then turned to Ron:

"And this is Chloe Star Voice, an exceptionally gifted astrologer from the Western Border Astrology Association. She is here to consult with me on matters of advanced astrological knowledge."

Ron rose and offered Chloe a formal wizard's greeting:

"It is a distinct pleasure to meet you, Miss Chloe."

Upon hearing Ron's voice, Chloe's body exhibited a subtle, almost imperceptible tremor.

Though faint, Ron's acute senses registered this minute reaction.

"I... also feel honored... to meet you..."

Her reply was slightly faltering, her voice even softer than before.

A faint blush bloomed on the face concealed by the silk blindfold, betraying her internal disquiet.

"Ron is about to depart; you two can have a brief moment to acquaint yourselves."

Uther, sensing the delicate tension, provided a timely opportunity:

"Chloe, your astrological session is scheduled to commence shortly."

"Then I shall take my leave." Ron gave a courteous nod to both of them:

"Professor, thank you for your invaluable guidance today. And Miss Chloe, I sincerely hope your studies at the Observation Station prove to be both enlightening and enjoyable."

With that, he turned and walked towards the door.

As he passed Chloe, she subtly shifted to allow him passage, yet her unseen 'gaze' remained intently fixed on Ron's retreating form.

Even after the door had fully closed behind him, Chloe remained motionless, seemingly lost in the afterglow of their brief encounter.

"Chloe?"

Uther's voice gently pulled her back from her reverie: "Is everything alright? You seem rather... preoccupied?"

"Ah... it's nothing, Professor."

She shook her head rapidly, but the slight quiver in her voice betrayed her inner turmoil:

"It's just that... Mr. Ralph possessed a truly unique aura... it intensely resonated with my intuition..."

This statement caused Uther's eyebrows to lift slightly in curiosity.

Given Chloe's extraordinary talent in astrology, her intuitive responses often held profound significance.

"What sort of resonance?" he inquired, his interest piqued.

"It's difficult to articulate... quite complex..."

Chloe furrowed her brow, struggling to find adequate words:

"It felt as though... I was standing at a pivotal juncture of time, sensing the convergence of innumerable threads of fate... and an overwhelming, profound sense of solitude..."

She paused, her voice tinged with increasing bewilderment:

"Yet, paradoxically, there was an... indescribable magnetism... as if all those destined pathways were ultimately leading towards him..."

Uther listened attentively to her intricate description, a contemplative gleam entering his silver eyes.

"Chloe, I strongly advise you to perform a thorough divination tonight, once you return, focusing on this particular sensation."

His tone grew serious:

"Consider it a divination concerning your own future.

At times, a potent astrological intuition serves as a harbinger of significant intersections in destiny."

"Understood, Professor."

Chloe nodded in agreement, although a distinct sense of bewilderment lingered in her heart.Throughout the subsequent astrology lesson, her focus wavered, her mind constantly drifting back to that fleeting moment. ...... Ron ambled down the well-trodden path leading to his laboratory. The exchange with Uther earlier had provided him with a more precise vision of his developmental trajectory. Given that advancing further would necessitate an exploration into the Abyss, fostering a strong connection with Nari had become even more crucial... The laboratory entryway detected his presence and smoothly opened on its own. The gentle radiance of the Magic Crystal Lamp illuminated his slightly tired features. "Master!"
