Ron uses his specially crafted magic sword, now bonded with Nari's chaotic power, to attempt an enchantment on one of her polluting tentacles. The magic sword unexpectedly evolves into a carving tool, allowing Ron to successfully engrave an amplification rune onto the tentacle without chaotic erosion.

A rather unusual sensation permeated Ron as he channeled through the Magic Sword, becoming attuned to Nari’s emotions and will. He felt her fierce determination to safeguard the "children," her exhilaration facing adversity, and her keen anticipation for the coming confrontation.

Each rune that took form flowed with the grace of natural elements, resembling moving clouds and flowing water. The fundamental blueprint for "Effect Enhancement" was rapidly established, yet this marked merely the genesis of the process. Under the Magic Sword’s amplifying influence, the initially simple rune transformed, evolving into an intricate, three-dimensional structure of considerable complexity.

Ron found himself capable of rendering precise details far surpassing his usual capabilities. Tasks that typically demanded immense effort were now executed with an effortless, natural flow.

"This feeling..." he mused internally, continuing his work, "the Magic Sword isn’t merely boosting my skills; it’s actively guiding me toward a deeper understanding of advanced Enchantment principles." As the enchantment progressed, the rune began to weave itself into the tentacle’s energy network, establishing a direct conduit to Nari’s Chaos Origin. This sophisticated level of Enchantment transcended mere temporary enhancements, bordering on a permanent augmentation of power.

"Astonishing..." Nari’s voice resonated with profound shock. "I can sense a fundamental alteration occurring within that tentacle... My child, what exactly have you accomplished?"

"I’m not entirely certain myself," Ron responded truthfully, a sheen of sweat forming on his brow. "The Magic Sword appears to be directing me through actions beyond my normal operational capacity..." To force an enhancement upon a being vastly superior to his own Power Level exerted an unprecedented strain. His Magic Power dwindled at an alarming rate, leaving him feeling dizzy from the encroaching emptiness. Yet, the task remained unfinished. The final sealing phase necessitated a substantial infusion of Magic Power, delivered in a single surge, to fully awaken and stabilize the entire rune network.

"Hold on... just one final step..." Ron clenched his teeth, channeling his dwindling Magic Power into the Magic Sword without hesitation. The complete rune network flared to life, emitting an eerie, dark luminescence. As this glow gradually receded, the Polluting Touch underwent a breathtaking metamorphosis. The surface, once a deep black, now shimmered with an unusual metallic sheen, akin to silver illuminated by starlight.

The internal Energy Flow became significantly more vigorous and organized, with distinct, vein-like luminous lines now pulsing beneath the surface. Most remarkably, its Erosion power had magnified at least threefold. The very air around it began to warp subtly, unable to contain the sheer force, creating a visible heat-haze distortion. The adjacent seawater hissed and bubbled upon contact with the bolstered tentacle, as if plunged into potent acid.

"It’s complete..." Ron surveyed his creation, a wave of profound satisfaction washing over him. "The outcome surpasses expectations. This tentacle now possesses the capability to instantly erode entities of equivalent standing."

Nari felt the surge of newly awakened power coursing through the tentacle, her eyes reflecting deep admiration for the young one’s innate talent. "My treasure is truly magnificent! Such a level of enhancement..." She carefully retracted the empowered tentacle, wary of accidentally unleashing its enhanced might and inadvertently harming Ron.

Just then, a sharp, piercing sound sliced through the air from a distance. It was the unmistakable sonic boom of a creature traversing at extreme velocity. The soundwaves, warped by the chaotic surroundings, produced a disquieting echo. Several dark specks materialized in the sky, rapidly converging towards the periphery of the Chaos Storm.

As they drew nearer, Ron could clearly discern the terrifying forms of the approaching entities. Two Flesh Demons, their wings constructed from skin and bone, beat the air with each stroke, unleashing clouds of blood and foul odor. Their bodies resembled flayed humanoid giants, exposed muscles writhing and constantly weeping thick, dark blood. Most horrifying were their faces – grotesque amalgamations of countless human visages stitched together, each contorted in silent screams of lifelong agony, mouths opening and closing soundlessly.

Accompanying them were three Dream Spiders, whose appearance was even more unsettling. Their forms exhibited a semi-translucent quality, revealing colorful fluids circulating within like ethereal auroras. The tips of their eight legs bore human eyeballs that shifted in hue and form, mirroring whatever they focused upon. Most disturbing was the immense human female face dominating their abdomens – beautiful yet nightmarish, its perfection possessing an unnatural aura, like a flawlessly rendered dream from which one could not awaken.

"The Pathfinders have arrived," Nari stated, her voice hardening, a menacing undertone causing the surrounding Chaos Storm to churn restlessly. "It's the usual ploy of those two old fools."

"Darling, Mother is concerned you might be endangered by the impending conflict." Nari began initiating her internal life-bubble system:

"Mom will keep you safe in the most secure location." A unique bubble gradually separated from the depths of her being. This bubble bore no resemblance to the prior vessel that contained the puppet. It established a direct link with Nari's Energy Core, a vital nexus within her physical form. "This is Mom's most fundamental life-giving region," Nari declared, her voice resonating with a profound sanctity. "Here, you shall be shielded by all of Mom's might. Even the most formidable assaults will be utterly incapable of inflicting harm upon you." Ron observed the bubble, which pulsed with a potent life force, his heart awash with intricate emotions. Nari's choice to situate him near her Energy Core signified a trust that transcended any verbal articulation. Within the stringent survival code of the Abyss, a creature's core region is an inviolable sanctuary. The most intimate relations would not readily allow proximity to such a critical life center. This is because even a simple Apprentice, with sufficient resolve for sacrifice, could deliver a fatal blow to an Apostle-level entity at this very spot. Yet, Nari voluntarily guided him here, demonstrating an absolute absence of concern regarding any potential betrayal or harm...
