Ron discovered the true nature of necromancy, realizing it's a profound discipline exploring life and death, not just corpse manipulation. He learned about its core theories: soul immortality, life-death conversion, and materialized memory. Ron became excited about necromancy's potential, especially its theoretical overlap with modern science, and its highly individualized research path. He then read about the ultimate achievement of necromancy: the undead, who can transcend death while potentially retaining their humanity through complex soul engineering.

On one hand, the value and allure of this knowledge are undeniable; on the other hand, societal prejudice and potential risks cannot be ignored.

"The ’Eternal Plague’ of the Third Era indeed caused great harm to Necromancy..."

He muses to himself, "But precisely because of this, mastering such knowledge is now even more precious."

"Moreover, from a career development perspective..."

Ron begins a more rational analysis:

"The scarcity of Necromancers means that those who possess this ability have irreplaceable value in certain fields. Archaeology, historical research, medical studies... all require such professionals."

"Most importantly, Necromancy is highly compatible with my current research direction."

He recalls his various experiences in the Abyss, those ancient consciousnesses, dispersed souls, the cycle of death and rebirth...

"The Abyss itself is a vast zone where the boundaries of life and death are blurred, mastering Necromancy knowledge is bound to greatly aid my research."

With this in mind, Ron makes a decision:

"At least, I can start by learning fundamental theories, to prepare for a future career shift."

"However, the biggest problem for Necromancers is not technical difficulty, but societal acceptance..."

He remembers the various warnings and restrictions mentioned in books:

"If I really choose this path, it is likely I will face skepticism and hostility from all sectors of society."

Yet another voice arises in his heart:

"Knowledge itself is innocent; the key lies in how to use this knowledge, and whether one can uphold correct ethical boundaries."

"Moreover, compared to immediately shifting to a Necromancer, I currently have more urgent development goals."

The bloodline breakthrough in the Quicksand Lands, the career transition of historians, preparation for Otherworld exploration... all these tasks are more realistic and pressing.

Necromancy can be a long-term research direction, to be explored slowly.

"However, if there’s an opportunity to access some basic Necromancy material..."

He ponders internally:

"I might as well embark on some theoretical learning. After all, mastering an additional knowledge system always has its benefits."

......

After another two hours of flight, the destination finally appears on the horizon.

But that’s definitely not a "complex" in the ordinary sense — it is a moving miracle.

The Sand Sea School is established on the back of an ancient "Sand Leviathan."

This ancient creature has a body length exceeding ten kilometers, a width of three to four kilometers, resembling a moving island that slowly swims in the sand sea.

Leviathan’s skin is a profound sandy yellow, its surface covered with mountain-like scales.

Each scale is the size of a house, etched with naturally formed mystical runes.

These runes emit a faint glow with the ancient beast’s breath, providing basic magic power supply for the entire school.

"My god..."

Even with all the wonders Ron has seen, he’s shaken by the scene before him:

"This Leviathan... is it still alive?"

"Of course it’s alive."

Samuel’s voice carries a kind of reverence:

"Ramses is the oldest inhabitant of this sand sea; it is said that it existed before the First Era."

"The pioneers of the Sand Sea School spent three entire centuries reaching a symbiotic agreement with it."

"A symbiotic agreement?"

"We clear its parasites, heal its injuries; it then allows us to establish the school on its back."

Samuel explains in detail:

"Every breath Ramses takes causes waves of sand sea undulation for kilometers around, providing unrivaled conditions for our elemental research."

Just as Samuel says, with each deep breath of the Leviathan, the entire sand sea begins to gently ripple.

Like giant ocean waves, but the movements are extremely slow and gentle.

The school buildings established on its back also sway, but the movement carries a certain rhythm of life, making people feel safe and comfortable.
