Wizard: Unlimited Profession Slots Chapter 1070 - 446: Voidborn Entities (Part 2)

Because the Vital Republic is located on the edge area of the fourth quadrant.
The beginning of the Chapter is the preface personally written by the King of Revelation:
"The Fourth Quadrant is a place where chaos and order converge, and the life forms born here often possess traits that transcend conventional cognition.
Researchers must remain sufficiently rational and vigilant when approaching these entities.
Many seemingly harmless creatures actually possess terrifying abilities to overturn reality."
"I can never forget the shock of stepping into the ’Fourth Quadrant’. The sky there is not blue, but a deep red like blood, and the air is filled with the taste of metal.
Gravity’s direction changes every few hours, leaving one unable to adapt.
But what truly piqued my curiosity were the natives there."
Ron continued reading and was soon struck by the bizarre creatures recorded in the book.
The first entry that caught his eye was:
[Collective Consciousness Entity]
"These entities lack independent consciousness; their thoughts are interconnected like a beehive, forming a vast collective intelligence network.
When I tried to communicate with them, it felt like conversing with the consciousness of an entire planet.
This experience made me realize for the first time that the form of intelligence is far more diverse than I imagined.
The individual thinking patterns we Wizards are accustomed to might be insignificant exceptions on the scale of the universe."
"These types of creatures are widely distributed across multiple worlds of the Fourth Quadrant, and they are an important part of the local ecosystem.
Their individual forms are usually very small, but they can form powerful intelligent entities through collective consciousness.
The most typical representatives are the ’Star Domain Citizens’ of the Vital Republic, where billions of micro-consciousnesses merge into unified thought, creating a highly developed technology civilization.
They bear remarkable resemblance to the ’thought hive’ observed in the Great Abyss..."
A line of graceful handwriting appeared on the page’s edge:
"The similarity between collective consciousness structures and the ’thought hive’ in the Great Abyss is no coincidence.
Based on my research, this may indicate the existence of a certain biological replication template. —— Lady of Blood・Selena"
Seeing this, Ron raised his eyebrows slightly.
He continued to read on:
"Common characteristics of collective consciousness entities include:
High information processing ability, strong adaptability to the environment, and vague recognition of individual concepts.
They often view themselves as part of a whole, lacking independent self-awareness.
This trait is both their advantage and their greatest weakness.
If a disagreement or conflict arises within the cluster, the entire consciousness system could face the danger of collapse..."
There appeared detailed records about such civilizations like the Vital Republic:
[Vital Republic-4th Quadrant]
Racial traits: Semi-energy life form, using group consciousness link as a carrier
Civilization level: Star Domain Level (Level III)
Extraordinary System: Resonance
"Their way of thinking is entirely based on digital logic."
Ron read through the detailed description:
"Emotions are quantified as frequency fluctuations, memories are stored in spectrum sequences, and even reproduction is completed through perfect geometric division."
"The core of their extraordinary system is ’Resonance’—continuously optimizing their energy structure by resonating with cosmic fundamental frequencies."
"But the fatal weakness of this civilization is excessive rationalization.
They cannot comprehend the concepts of ’chaos’ and ’accident’, responding extremely slowly to unknown variables."
Next were even more peculiar beings:
[Dream Host-5th Quadrant]
Racial traits: Intangible spirit entity, must parasitize a dream-capable organism
Civilization level: Interstellar Level (Level II)
Extraordinary System: Dream Weaving
This was a life form completely beyond Ron’s imagination.
The images displayed showed these hosts had no physical form, but were merely a constantly changing fog of consciousness.
They must parasitize on organisms capable of dreaming, influencing reality by manipulating the host’s dream realm.
"Dream Hosts view the host’s dreams as malleable fragments of reality."
"Everything constructed within the dream realm—buildings, tools, even creatures—can be projected into the real world in some form."
"High Tier Hosts can weave ’collective dreams’, allowing all organisms on a planet to share the same dream space."
"But the price of this ability is that the host will gradually merge with the host’s consciousness, ultimately blurring the lines between reality and dream."
Reading this, Ron couldn’t help recalling some spirit entities he had encountered in the Abyss.
As he turned more pages, the records became more detailed and systematic:
"The seventeenth exploration: ’Void Boundary’
The peculiarity of this quadrant lies in the extreme instability of matter and energy here.
I encountered a type of existence I dubbed as ’Phase Wanderer’.
They have no fixed entity and can freely switch between different states of existence.
Sometimes they appear as pure energy bodies, other times coagulating into a semi-transparent misty form."
This description reminded Ron of the "Void Wanderer" in the Abyss.
A trait of being unhindered by physical obstacles, able to exist in multiple spatial positions simultaneously, was remarkably similar.
As Ron delved deeper into the reading, he began to understand why Uther once told him that the Great Abyss was a "training ground for Otherworld exploration."
The numerous Otherworld creatures recorded by the Traveler bear similar traits to the native species of the Abyss.
As if the Great Abyss was a miniature collection of Otherworlds, containing samples of various strange life forms in the universe.
