"May all loyal heroic souls receive blessing, and may all things in the world be connected by faith, marching towards dawn together!"
The altar’s surroundings were still suffused with a faint sacred afterglow. The silver moonlight fell, causing the edges of the newborn Terminus Corridor’s archways to glow with a dim, dark golden radiance, resembling a door to an unknown mysterious domain quietly watching over this land.
Amidst this peaceful tranquility, an eerie and suffocating energy wave suddenly erupted from the far reaches of the Astral Abyss.
It was an unusual breath from the depths of the void, spreading slowly like thick black fog, distorting the surrounding space structure.
The branches and leaves of trees trembled slightly in this abnormal wave, countless hidden runes flickered with warning-like ghostly blue cold light.
The Astral Insect Queen, her enormous and grotesque form concealed within the void’s fissures. Her compound eyes gleamed with a blood-red, icy light, her antennae twitching incessantly, gathering countless shadow insect swarms around her, like a writhing ocean of living beings.
The Queen sensed the emergence of a newborn Divine Format, whose power containing the cosmos’s essence and the power of the Chaos Decree overwhelmed her, yet also sparked her instinct to hunt greedily.
"The Terminus Corridor... a newborn Divine Format... will certainly become a dazzling prey in the void’s devouring tides." She hissed in a low chant, a voice seemingly from the darkest depths of the Hell Abyss, sending shivers down one’s heart.
"Tear down the barriers, we shall trigger a primal storm and usher in the gods’ twilight ahead of schedule!"
As her words fell, a crack suddenly tore open the spatial barrier, sharp and cold as if the razor’s edge sliced through the heavens and earth.
Countless black insect swarms, carrying the aura of death, surged forward. Their forms were blurred, tentacles entangling, leaving corrosive mucus and charred marks in the air.
David stood at the altar’s center, his eyes suddenly blazing with fierce Chaos Fire, his entire being erupting with the brilliant light of gold and green runes.
He raised his right arm, a vast divine light projection slowly descending from the sky, transforming into a magnificent starry river form, enveloping the invading insect swarm.
The projection resembled a vast cosmic devouring vortex, the endless law flow surging and rolling within, gradually suppressing and devouring the frenzied swarming insects.
For a time, the sound was like the thundering blows of giants, akin to the shock waves emitted when stars exploded, and those watching could only hold their breath in awe.
Annie lurked within the shadows of the Terminus Corridor, her silver-white robe swaying gently with the breeze, her nimble, delicate fingers swiftly weaving complex rune arrays across the space.
The "Mind Shriek Cage" gradually took shape, condensed from pure Spiritual Power into a hardened cage grid, designed primarily to shock and disrupt the invaders’ consciousness.
With the cage completed, an endless buzzing and screeching suddenly resounded through the void, the captured ones struggled in agony, yet were forcibly bound within the mental prison by the arrays and unable to escape.
This was both a defensive barrier and a heavy blow to the void’s vile spawn, causing the enemies to struggle helplessly between fear and despair.
The Queen felt an unprecedented pressure, her forehead emitting dim dark purple currents, forcibly retreating with the meteorite armor within her body.
Upon departing, she uttered a cold prophecy, "The gods’ twilight is about to return! Wars among all races will unleash a world catastrophe! We, the void’s offspring, shall rise!"
Her words not fully echoed, she transformed into a streak of black-purple light, vanishing beyond the layered fissures, leaving only the ground and trees oppressed and recovering slowly, and the guardians of the new order shimmering with residual light, standing solemnly in place, their faces full of vigilance and resolve, along with deep concerns about the oncoming storm of war.
David’s face was grave, he spoke softly, "This is just the beginning, we must weave a tighter Faith Network, so that the power of all races gathers into an unbreakable barrier, otherwise any force could tear apart the new epoch we’ve painstakingly built."
Cynthia gripped her sword hilt tightly, its blade reflecting the cold brilliance of the moonlight, "As long as our faith remains undying, no darkness can destroy the world we guard."
Hill gazed into the distance, his eyes burning with fierce fire, "Brothers, we must prepare for everything that is about to come;
This plane war will be the ultimate test for all life!"
David stood atop the royal court’s high platform, though his Divine Power greatly depleted from the previous great war, his gaze remained as steadfast as iron.
He surveyed the heroes of all races, those beastmen hardy and bold, elves cold and elegant, dwarves tenacious and strong-willed, humans wise and steady... every face was full of responsibility and desire.
"Everyone," his voice was as loud as an ancient bell, yet as ethereal as stars, piercing into hearts, "The new epoch has begun, but only by setting a clear covenant can we build lasting peace together."
Then, he slowly extended his right hand, splitting apart ten percent of his Divine Power from within, a brilliant ray of light spun and leaped in his palm, like a small star.
David condensed this part of Divine Power into a tome, a "Chaos Codex" soaked in worldly laws and the consensus of all races gradually took shape.
The codex emitted a dim, dark golden radiance, shimmering with endless wisdom and authority in the dawn. David solemnly declared in a loud voice:
"First clause: The gods shall not interfere with the internal evolutionary progress of civilization, nor arbitrarily alter the destiny trajectories of races."
This decree echoed like thunder, raising a wave of heat in everyone’s hearts present. They tightly clenched their fists, their eyes sparkling with the fire of determination, deeply gratified by this promise.
Then, he slowly recited the fourth clause:
"Those who save a plane shall be allowed to remold their bodies within the Divine Kingdom, continuing the life Chapter in the name of honor."
As his words fell, the audience fell silent for a moment, then erupted in a multitude of applause and cheers.
Many heroes who had faced death’s trials now had tears in their eyes, their faces reflecting the flame of hope.
This is the highest honor and deepest reward for all those who bravely sacrificed, and also the source of strength that will inspire countless lives to forge ahead bravely in the future.
Alia gently caressed her crimson robe, her eyes hot yet gentle, "This codex will allow all races to hold high esteem and independence, and bring true freedom to the mundane."
Hill stood tall beside her, his silver-white armor dazzling with cold light under the sunlight, "With this as my oath, I pledge to guard the covenant with my sword, permitting no desecration or destruction!"
Cynthia raised her sword high, her gaze like frost cutting through the void, "Faith undying, the covenant between man and god everlasting! Remember the vow!"
As the final words fell, the "Chaos Codex" suddenly emitted a dazzling sacred brilliance, the vast energy waves rapidly spreading, like a vast starry river enveloping the sky, resonating with heaven and earth.
Leaders of all races around knelt and bowed, declaring loyalty to the new epoch in the most devout manner.
"We are willing to use life to defend this vow, building this alliance with flesh and blood!" Their voices were loud and firm, transforming faith into a rock-solid foundation.
David gazed at everyone, placing the "Chaos Codex" on the central altar of the royal court, the ancient decree tome pulsing like a living being with cosmic rhythmic patterns.
He clasped his hands together and closed his eyes for a moment, then slowly opened them, saying, "Today, we forge an immortal covenant with bloodlines and faith.
Henceforth, humans and all races shall walk hand in hand, protecting peace and prosperity, collectively building the honor of future civilization!"
Sunlight streamed through the treetops, casting threads of golden light, enveloping the entire plaza in a warm and sacred atmosphere.
A hummingbird darted agilely through the flowers, its emerald green shadow gleaming, as if nature too was celebrating this new birth.
From afar, deer’s calls melodiously passed through forest gaps, merging with everyone’s prayers into a hymn, playing the overture for the new epoch.
The members of the Witch Rider Corps stood in neat formation, their fatigue replaced by resolve, each person’s eyes burning with the unquenchable flame of hope;
Hill gripped his sword hilt firmly, gazing at the sky;
Cynthia fine-tuned Defense Spells to stabilize the array; Alia continued guiding Soul Power to guard the rear;
And Annie remained alert and hidden, ready to respond to any lurking crisis...
With the forging of the "Chaos Codex" and the establishment of the covenant between man and god, this space, full of mysterious power, began to nurture a new form of life, the outline and vitality of the three Divine Domains gradually manifesting.
The Redemptive Flames Plain, with flames pulsating like life’s veins in the darkness.
The fierce flames surrounded countless phantom souls of the Witch Riders, clad in sacred flame armor, practicing Divine Arts and battle formations in the blazing ocean of fire.
