David's team navigates treacherous ruins while battling the Hell Corps and the Ice Hell Lord, Kelros. They race against time to find the fragmented Code of the Altar, believing it holds the key to defeating evil. David confronts Kelros directly while Erin and Reina work to disarm traps and decipher the ancient text.

Each step he took.

Was trailed by bone-piercing cold surging in all directions.

Like a winter tempest sweeping the earth, chill to the marrow.

"Mortals.

You will, in the end, be devoured by this Ice Seal of order!"

Suddenly.

He raised the heavy warhammer and smashed it savagely against the pedestal seal.

Triggering a violent explosion.

Marble dust spattered and scattered, laced with flashing Lightning.

The exploration team members all scrambled to evade.

A few were thrown by the shockwave and crashed down.

Pain twisted their faces, yet in their eyes burned a fire of grim resolve—

For even in fragments, the Holy Scripture.

Still bore their one and only hope!

Reina crouched beside the pillar’s root.

She lightly touched the surface of the Holy Artifact’s broken face.

Upon it, star-engraved Runes faintly flowed.

"As long as we piece it together.

We can awaken the true power."

Tears mingled with sweat as they slid down her cheeks.

This was resilience born of exhaustion.

The sole obsession she held toward the future.

And the deepest reverence she bore for life!

"Keep searching.

Every fragment is crucial."

David said in a low voice.

Wiping blood from his brow, he carefully studied the dense array of totems inscribed at his feet.

Hoping to find a hidden entrance or the secret of a mechanism.

Under his guidance and coordination.

The team fitted the broken Code together piece by piece.

At times they had to overturn heavy slabs of rock or dismantle trapped mechanisms in order to retrieve vital clues.

Cautious yet efficient in their cooperation.

Daring not a single moment of slackness or clumsy error!

The chaos had yet to subside.

Hosts of assassin Demon kept pouring in.

Unleashing destructive Magic attacks from all directions.

Many areas turned to scorched earth, fumes rolling.

And Krloas was like a raging beast.

Again and again he lifted his hammer, conjuring Frost cyclones to reap through enemy ranks.

So that the whole altar seemed a scene of doomsday judgment, carnage beyond compare...

The chill in the air abruptly intensified.

The outer walls of the great hall, battered over and over, cracked and collapsed in multiple places.

Like the shudder of the world’s end, choking every breath.

And at this moment.

At the heart of the ruins.

A circular Rune dais wrought of starry patterns slowly flared with ghostly blue light.

The reliefs upon it seemed to come alive.

Resonating with the Soul Key...

"Look there!

That is... the final key of the star-ritual!"

Reina cried out.

She swiftly gathered the others, and together with Erin moved to guard the Rune dais from harm.

This layer of protective barrier was fragile.

Yet it was the last line of defense.

And the hope of one day reversing the tide!

The battle grew ever more brutal.

Forces from all sides collided in tangled chaos:

Blades tore the air, trailing eerie drifting sand;

Shadow stalkers hid in corners, waiting to strike;

Elemental searing Flame burned across the heavens;

And void-twisting warped time and space.

As though the very fabric of this realm might collapse at any moment...

Just then.

A jarring, bone-chilling pulse of ill omen rose from deep underground.

The wave instantly scrambled everyone’s Perception.

Making all movements suddenly sluggish, dazed.

As if time were dragging them into an endless Abyss...

"Do not lower your guard!

This is a reaction triggered by the Source’s power.

We must seize this chance."

David ordered, voice steady.

He forced all his strength into focusing his mind to resist the interference.

Once more he leveled his sword, pointing straight toward the hidden entrance by the near-collapsing marble-carved wall.

"With me!"

Through Mist and acrid smoke they followed his steps, clambering over fallen debris.

Carefully edging toward the long-forgotten mouth of an underground passage.

This passage, it was said, led directly to the star-source’s most central secret—

The place where the Holy Scripture that truly governed the balance of the Cosmos lay!

But at the very instant they were about to enter the passage.

A shrill scream burst from the Shadows, rending the silence.

It was a reinforcement squad led by the assassins’ chief.

A deathless host bent on seizing the truth entirely, strangling all hope.

They wielded sharp daggers, weaving Illusion Technique to bewilder.

Penning the exploration team into a killing ring...

"In the end, all three forces are drawn here."

David gazed at the triumphant figures advancing within the encroaching Dark Storm.

His eyes burned cold and keen.

"This is where the duel begins.

There is no retreat left for us..."

Darkness surged like a tide as the three powers clashed in a breathtaking melee upon the shattered ruins of the altar.

The air was thick with the mingled reek of Ice and Flame; broken pillars and fallen carved fragments lay strewn across the floor, as though the whole world quaked for this struggle that would decide its fate.

David wore Battle Armor stained with dust and blood, his gaze keen as a raptor’s.

His figure moved lithe through enemy ranks, each sword stroke flaring with starlit radiance, cutting down assassins and Demon in an instant.

Sweat slid along his brow; his brows knit tight, his heart heavy with urgency: "We must find the complete Code quickly, or this place will sink into the Dark Abyss."

Reina followed close behind; with both hands she swept her Magic Staff, summoning the Power of Elements into layers of azure Barriers that wrapped and shielded her companions.

Her face was beaded with sweat, yet the steely cast of her features spoke of boundless resolve.

"Erin, watch the flank! Those ghost-blue Flame arrows are lethally strong!" She swiftly raised a Frost Shield, a blast of chill freezing the incoming arrows mid-flight.

Erin focused her Spellcasting, eyes cool and intent; a silver-white binding cord shot from her palm, binding a small Demon that had tried to circle around.

"Hold on!" she muttered under her breath, while chanting a Spell to dispel restraints, hoping to break the enemy Illusion Technique and traps.

The Ice Hell Lord Krloas stood high upon a towering rock; his Armor gleamed with Frost light, and the massive Ice Hammer in his grip swept up razor winds, every blow shattering the Earth.

He roared in fury: "David! You cannot halt the reshaping of order. This battle is inevitable! Give up your resistance!"

The Pillar God’s avatar, twisted and ever-shifting in form, loomed at the eye of the storm; its talons tore the very space, each strike rending a black-violet fissure that swallowed foes into nothingness.
