David struggles with his cursed bloodline and the growing threat of a parasitic embryo. While Amy tries to purify the chaotic energy and Reina searches ancient texts for a solution, the embryo's influence spreads, affecting the world's core and calling out to David. The group prepares for battle, knowing they must stop the embryo before it fully hatches and rewrites reality.

"It’s okay."

David raised his hand, looking at the spreading gray spots, "These pains... these changes... are all meaningful."

He suddenly clenched his fist, with fine runes emerging on the bone armor, "I can feel it, this body is adapting to the chaos energy."

The night grew deeper, but the atmosphere in the camp became increasingly tense.

Everyone knew that a greater crisis lay hidden beneath the temporary peace.

Beneath the ice layer of the Holy Land of the Star Pupil Race, the entity referred to as the "dimension parasite embryo" was silently growing, waiting for the moment to break free.

When the last ray of moonlight was obscured by dark clouds, the ice plains of the Far North plunged into complete darkness.

Only the campfire in the camp was still stubbornly burning, like a faint beacon of hope, flickering defiantly in the endless darkness.

The night sky of the Far North was like a massive piece of heavy obsidian, the starlight obscured by thick clouds, leaving only a few stubborn stars twinkling in the gaps.

The cold wind carried fine ice crystals, swirling around the camp, making a mournful sound.

Inside Liliana’s tent, the rune lamp emitted a ghostly blue light, casting the shadows of everyone onto the tent fabric like dancing specters.

Amy gently lifted the tent’s curtain, and the cold air immediately seeped in through the gap.

She stepped quickly to the center of the magic array, her boots barely making a sound on the snow wolf fur-covered ground.

"Liliana, how do you feel?" Her voice was soft but couldn’t conceal the worry within.

Liliana knelt in the center of the rune array, her silver-white hair cascading over her shoulders.

Her fingers tightly clutched the fabric over her chest, her knuckles whitened from the force.

Gray markings spread from below her collarbone, like living vines, winding across her skin.

These markings occasionally flickered with an eerie purple light, sometimes so dim they were almost invisible.

"It... it’s resonating..." Liliana lifted her head, a hint of pain flashing in her ice-blue eyes, "like someone is hammering at my soul."

Her voice trembled, and the white mist of her breath condensed into tiny ice crystals in the cold air.

Reina hurried over to the monitoring instruments, her slender fingers moving rapidly over the rune keyboard.

The holographic projection immediately displayed a complex energy spectrum, with one gray energy line fluctuating violently.

"The chaos resonance index has broken the critical value," her voice was tense, "the dimension ice crystal is resonating with the sigil."

Suddenly, there was a commotion outside the tent, followed by the strong, deep voice of Zelros: "Make way!"

The curtain was suddenly thrown open, and a tall figure burst in, bringing a chill with him.

Unmelted ice crystals clung to his armor, the collision of sheath and armor made a clear, crisp sound.

"New cracks have appeared in the northern ice layer," Zelros’s voice seemed to come from an ice cellar, "I saw... a black shadow moving under the ice."

His hand unconsciously tightened around the sword hilt, his knuckles making a slight sound.

David emerged from the shadows, the bone armor making a faint rubbing sound with his movements.

His vertical pupils glowed with a dangerous light in the dim glow.

"It’s the embryo," his voice was hoarse, "it’s responding to the sigil’s resonance."

He raised his hand, with gray-white spots already spreading to his fingertips, looking particularly eerie under the ghostly blue light.

Amy quickly knelt beside Liliana, gently cupping her face with both hands.

"Look at me," Amy’s voice was firm yet gentle, "focus, don’t let it take you."

Her fingertips emitted a faint blue light, warm energy slowly flowing into Liliana’s body.

Liliana’s breathing gradually steadied, but the gray markings on her chest continued to squirm restlessly.

Suddenly, she grabbed Amy’s wrist with astonishing strength.

"It’s speaking..." Liliana’s voice became strange and hollow, "it’s chanting... some ancient spell..."

The temperature inside the tent seemed to drop suddenly, each person’s breath condensed into white mist.

Reina’s instruments emitted a piercing alarm, the energy line on the projection jumping wildly.

"Energy fluctuations are forming some kind of... some kind of structure," her voice trembled with shock, "it’s a teleportation gate! The Observer is using the sigil as an anchor point!"

Zelros suddenly drew the longsword, the blade slicing a silver arc in the dark tent.

"We must cut the connection immediately!" his voice thundered, "or the whole Far North will become a beachhead for invasion!"

David’s bone armor suddenly lit up with a dazzling white light, he bent over in pain, letting out a low growl.

Gray-white spots squirmed under his skin like living creatures, synchronizing eerily with the markings on Liliana’s chest.

"It’s calling me..." David’s voice turned hoarse, "I can feel... the embryo’s pulse..."

Outside the tent, the wind and snow suddenly intensified.

The gale tore at the tent’s ropes, making unsettling creaking sounds.

In the distance on the ice plain, a purple lightning bolt tore through the night sky, illuminating the slowly cracking ice layer.

Reina’s fingers danced across the keyboard, the holographic projection constantly changing complex rune sequences.

"Got it!" she suddenly shouted, "The ancient book records the blocking ritual!"

Her voice quivered slightly with excitement, "We need to activate the sanctuary’s protective magic array immediately!"

Amy helped the weakened Liliana to her feet, while her other hand already gripped her magic staff.

"Go!" her voice was almost drowned out by the gale, "to the sanctuary! There’s no time!"

As everyone rushed out of the tent, a dazzling purple light shot up from the direction of the ice plain, casting the entire night sky in an eerie purple hue.

In the light, a massive black shadow could be vaguely seen writhing beneath the ice, its outline constantly changing, sometimes like a mass of swirling mist, sometimes extending countless tentacle-like protrusions.

David ran at the front, his bone armor gleaming with a cold sheen under the purple light.

Each step left deep footprints in the snow, but they were quickly erased by the howling wind and snow.

His vertical pupils were fixed intently on the distant sanctuary, where the ancient runes were flickering uneasily.

"Hurry!" Zelros’s voice came from behind, he held Liliana with one hand and a sword with the other, a thin layer of ice had already formed on his armor.

When they finally reached the sanctuary, a deafening shattering sound echoed from the direction of the ice plain.

Everyone turned to look, only to see the distant ice layer completely split open, with a massive black vortex forming, twisting and warping the surrounding space with its presence.

"Start the ritual!" Reina shouted, leaping onto the sanctuary, her long hair flying in the gale like silver flames.

Amy placed Liliana in the center of the sanctuary, then quickly took her position.

The tip of her magic staff ignited a dazzling light, tracing a graceful arc in the wind and snow.

Ancient spells poured from her lips, each syllable making the surrounding air tremble.

David stood at the edge of the sanctuary, the runes on his bone armor lighting up one after another.

He tilted his head back, letting out a long howl, a mix of pain and resolve in the sound.

Gray-white spots spread across his entire body, but this time, they began to emit a faint blue light, resonating with the runes of the sanctuary.

Zelros stood with sword in hand, like a statue guarding the front of the sanctuary.

His sword tip pointed toward the distant black vortex, and the ice crystals on his armor shimmered with a cold gleam under the purple light.

"Come on," he said softly, his voice full of battle spirit, "let’s end this."

As the ritual progressed, the runes on the sanctuary grew ever brighter, finally forming a pillar of light that shot into the sky.

The pillar of light collided with the distant black vortex, tearing the night sky of the Far North apart with the energy released from the collision, displaying a bizarre color that did not belong to this world.

Liliana knelt at the center of the sanctuary, the gray markings on her chest twisting fiercely, as if making a final struggle.

Her eyes had completely turned purple, her lips trembling as she chanted an ancient language no one could understand.
