David, Reina, and Cynthia face a cosmic trial, choosing between opposing forces that will shape civilization. They commit to their chosen paths, preparing for an impending impact. As runes glow and a storm of information surges, multiple possibilities emerge, leading to a breakthrough. However, the Observer System activates its final defense, revealing nine "Ninefold Hell" areas where dimensional singularities accelerate entropy and threaten to unravel reality. David's law manifestation cracks, Reina's domain fluctuates, and their defenses erode under the immense pressure of the disintegrating space.

I can’t feel how long it’s been...

The temperature in the air seemed to plummet abruptly.

Layers of void crystals appeared eerily around the throne hall.

Like frost covering the earth.

Yet carried an indescribable sense of instability.

The energy of information flowing through the crystal veins was intermittent.

Faults constantly appeared.

And quickly restored.

But each restoration weakened it slightly.

David’s eyes were bright.

He slowly extended his right hand.

The gradually damaged law embodiment was like the heart of a star.

Flickering with the last glow at his fingertips.

He closed his eyes.

Delved his consciousness into it.

Resonated with that flame.

However.

He could clearly sense an ominous feeling that lingered and couldn’t be dispelled——

A precursor to the unavoidable impending catastrophe hidden long within the system.

Around the throne hall, a continuous rumbling sounded.

This sound wasn’t an echo in the physical sense.

But an information resonance produced by the distortion of dimensional barriers and chaos in reality’s laws.

The rumbling was accompanied by barely audible human whispers.

Like ancient curses from divine beings piercing through the mind.

Irresistibly drawing people into confusion and fear.

Reina walked up to David’s side.

Grabbed his shoulder firmly.

Her eyes were resolute.

Yet she couldn’t conceal the unease surging within:

"You must hold on.

This is not just about you personally.

But the true future of all civilizations, all life!"

Cynthia adjusted the frequency of her mental link.

Aligned her consciousness to the optimal state.

Simultaneously, she quickly calculated to decipher the final defense logic of the Observer system.

"We’ve already detected the locations of nine singularities.

They are activating local entropy increase effects in sync.

We must race against time.

Otherwise, the consequences would be unimaginable!"

The Chaos Ancient Tree’s roots still writhed in the void.

But the white and dark purple twin forms of the branches seemed to subtly oscillate due to these upheavals nearby.

Those life veins erratically leapt about.

Adding more variables and unpredictability to the entire environment.

And the sparks of information suspended on the tree canopy.

Like tiny lives gazing in terror at all the changes.

Continuously sending signals for help...

Time sliced through their thoughts like a sharp blade.

They could clearly feel the impending curtain reveal of the cosmos’s order collapsing behind every breath.

They exchanged deep and determined glances.

Without words, they understood this was a life-and-death moment they couldn’t retreat from!

Suddenly.

A piercing, sharp roar came from the left side.

A newly activated dimensional singularity went berserk in an instant.

Its core explosion produced a strong information radiation wave.

Ripped open a blood-red giant maw in the surrounding void.

As if a natural disaster descended.

Massive information particles frantically overflowed.

Continually devouring adjacent chains of law and definitions of existence.

Bringing a moment of frozen time suddenly to rapid expansion and twisted distortion...

"This is...an irreversible trend!" Cynthia’s face turned pale.

She could hardly suppress her quick and fluctuating breaths.

"If all nine of them erupt simultaneously.

We can’t even take a step forward.

We’ll directly fall into eternal chaos!"

David’s fists clenched tighter.

The muscles on his forehead tightened.

Every breath he exhaled was full of strength yet mixed with pain.

He knew that any hesitation at this moment was a dead end.

He raised his right arm.

Gathered the last of the remaining flame’s strength.

And struck fiercely at the closest burning, rampaging singularity!

A dazzling blue-silver energy blade tore through the void.

Colliding with the nearly out-of-control, collapsing effect spinning, leaping data vortex.

In an instant.

The intense explosion formed a gigantic shock wave that swept the four sides.

While enveloping the trio within a suffocating data storm...

Countless runes disintegrated and fell;

Information pathways temporarily paralyzed;

The mental link plunged into an extreme test.

But with their extraordinary willpower, the trio resiliently resisted.

Not a hint of retreat!

In the storm’s center.

A cold, radiant blue flame burned stubbornly.

Raising their only hope for survival as a shield.

In this grim and crisis-ridden environment.

They became the sole human will beacon safeguarding the dawn of the future world!

...

In the following time.

David’s consciousness slowly withdrew from that blazing blue flame, gradually returning to the ice-cold and bone-chilling Ice World of reality.

Before him, the vast, boundless ice field stretched to the horizon, like a giant fractured mirror reflecting the grey-purple sky.

The piercing north wind howled through the shattered crystalline ice layers, with a faint scent of frost and ancient cold permeating the air.

He stepped onto this once familiar yet now perilous and unpredictable land, each step leaving deep imprints, quickly covered by the gale.

In the distance, the broken and dazzling remains of the Heart of Ice stood in the center of the ice field, like a shattered yet still faintly glowing pillar.

Cracks covered the surface of the remains, with unstable energy ripples continually flowing, each pulse like a heartbeat shaking the surrounding space.

The sky was so somber it seemed about to collapse at any moment; a polar storm quietly brewed and rapidly spread outward.

Heavy and oppressive, enveloping the surroundings like a black shroud.

In the air, lightly drifting snowflakes carried a strong sense of charge, constantly etching a fine and burning sting on David’s skin.

He tightened his cloak, his sharp gaze sweeping across this desolate land.

"The Heart of Ice is going berserk... this isn’t ordinary energy leakage." He murmured, his voice carried afar by the whistling north wind.

As he watched the remnants, a stronger energy fluctuation suddenly exploded from its core, triggering a sweeping, ice-shard and thunderous howling polar storm resonating through the sky.

This force raced like a beast, tracing lightning webs across the barren wasteland, shaking the whole world overwhelmingly.

"This... is an extreme danger signal." His brows instantly furrowed, those deep blue eyes igniting with calm and determined flames in face of the imminent unknown threat.

He swiftly advanced towards the path as sharp as a blade’s edge, leading to the core ruins—a place where once countless beings thrived to uphold civilization’s splendid glory, now eerily silent as a graveyard.

Drawing closer with each step, he sensed even more anomalies—large crystalline sculptures, eerie and frozen in their struggle, giant beasts, and spirit bodies scattered around.

Their bodies covered by a shimmering thin layer of Absolute Zero Barrier, but due to the violent energy impacts, innumerable tiny cracks appeared, spreading like spiderwebs across the glass.

These beings were like the tragic song of time, with twisted, struggling faces revealing an unwillingness and pain worth lamenting.

"They... are all frozen." David sighed softly, his fingers trembled slightly as they touched the Law Staff hanging on his side, the indestructible weapon symbolizing his will and strength.

"This freezing isn’t natural death but some powerful extreme cold power locking and sealing."

At that moment, a slender figure hurriedly approached from afar, dressed heavily yet maintaining a graceful lightness, enshrouded in soft silver-white armor, appearing radiant and bright against the snowy backdrop like the rising dawn.

She was Amy—David’s longtime comrade, also one of the top practitioners of Domain Law in the Ice World.

Behind her resolute gaze flickered a conviction to never give up on the safety of her companions and the perpetual guardianship of the environment.

Amy quickly arrived beside David, and with a glance, they understood each other without words.

"The situation is worse than imagined," Amy said with a grave expression, "The Heart of Ice’s core is out of control, releasing immense cold core energy continuously.

If not suppressed in time, this polar rage will enshroud the entire world."

"I’ve sensed its internal fluctuations are extremely complex," David nodded in response, simultaneously adjusting mental link frequencies to lock onto more data feedback, "We must work together to suppress the source, or the outcome would be unimaginable."

The two simultaneously closed their eyes, leading their consciousness into their inner domains, synchronously activating the purest and most intimidatory Domain Law: his deep blue flame burned to the extreme, while she unfolded the Absolute Zero Domain forming an unbreakable barrier.
