The Furious Bull rebels against the Divine Kingdom, while the Star Gods emerge from the Land of Darkness to reclaim their homeland. Emmon and his allies launch an assault on the Chaotic Servant, and the Netherworld Ancestor's incarnations face the Father and Mother of Gods. Meanwhile, Fingal leads the Nightmare World's forces against the Astral World, and Nora deploys its mechanical defenses and beast armies.

Nora.

High above the heavens, immense armies launched from the New World and the Land of the Four Seas, boarding Star Castles and journeying towards various Star Zones or directly into the astral world.

"Hahaha, so this is the astral world."

"It doesn't seem that impressive."

"Not as good as Nora."

The soldiers roared with laughter, their morale soaring.

Historically, the astral world was always associated with the ultimate authority!

Gods reigned supreme; how could they possibly tolerate desecration by mortals from the Multidimensional Plane?

The very true names of the Gods were considered utterly taboo.

Even the notion of defying them never dared to cross anyone's mind. But today, people discovered that Gods were merely mortal.

"I desecrate you, so what?"

With a formidable civilization backing them and the Star Annihilation Cannon, capable of slaying demigods, providing firepower, Gods were revealed to be nothing more than powerful beings, not untouchable entities!

This was the confidence Nora had cultivated over millennia!

This very confidence existed from the time Sauron founded the Wizard Council, mentioned in missives to every official wizard, though it wasn't openly expressed.

The reason was simple: Nora was weak back then.

Wizards notoriously disbelieved in Gods, placing their faith solely in knowledge and spells.

Gods were subjects for study, and even potential sustenance!

And now, this burgeoning confidence.

It had spread like wildfire from wizard civilization to the Nora Wan Clan, and even across the Multidimensional Plane!

Currently, tens of thousands of battle formations had plunged into the astral world.

All Clans and various transcendent professions had united to form the [Heavenly Chopping Alliance Army].

The Alliance Army declared, "[Gods and demons are dead, All Clans shall stand]", with the Star Realm Army emerging from the Divine Kingdoms, standing shoulder-to-shoulder, igniting the flames of war that swept across the entire astral world.

The Alliance Army called for all to attack the indigenous Upper Gods of the astral world.

Simultaneously, efforts were made to sway the Lower Gods who had ascended from the Multidimensional Plane.

Disrupting a strong adversary from within has always been the key to victory in war, especially when aiming to minimize Nora's casualties. The Emperor, following the successful example of the Nightmare, employed various tactics to sow discord between the oppressed Lower Gods of the astral world and the astral realm itself.

The Alliance Army publicized its decree:

All Lower Gods who surrender to Nora would retain their existence as Faith Gods after the establishment of new astral governance, provided they accepted management and reformation by the Nora Council.

Beyond these stipulations, all other aspects would remain unchanged.

This strategic move indeed caused many Weak Gods to hesitate. Witnessing Nora's preparedness, they realized that even if the astral world ultimately prevailed, they might not survive, potentially becoming mere cannon fodder in this Heavenly Chopping war, vanishing into thin air.

In past Heavenly Chopping conflicts, it was invariably the Lower Gods who perished. Consequently, some Weak Gods initiated secret communications with Nora, negotiating terms and planning to defect.

The Heavenly Chopping Alliance Army dispatched its elite Level-10 powerhouses to engage in these discussions.

...

Ten years vanished in the blink of an eye, ushering in Nora Calendar 4510.

Astral world, Star Wilderness.

As the frontier of the astral world, the inferno of Heavenly Chopping first ignited here. An alliance army, comprising over 500 Level-10 Nora powerhouses, descended upon the Sea of Ruins aboard their Star Castles.

The Emperor's strategy was to commence with the most scattered outer regions, integrating wavering factions into the Alliance Army, thereby allowing the Alliance Army's numbers to swell exponentially.

The ultimate objective was to breach the Forest of Myriad Phenomena and the Thousand Hills Countries.

Finally, armies converging from all directions would achieve triumphant victory deep within the astral world.

As of this moment.

Thirteen Weak Gods had already fallen, their Divine Kingdoms utterly annihilated. The majority were exterminated by the Heavenly Chopping Alliance Army, while others succumbed to the formidable Thirty-six Star Beast Army.

Confronted by Nora's relentless offensive and widespread internal rebellions.

Star Ancestor commanded the Abyss Will to reinforce its support.

Even a frenzied Abyss Will understood the principle of mutual reliance.

If the astral world were lost, the Abyss would inevitably be next.

It conscripted the Wind Demon Lord, the Succubus Queen, and other potent demons, summoning 300 Level-10 Demons and commanding three thousand Level-9 Demons, along with an innumerable Demon Army, to invade the astral world.

What followed were some rather farcical events.

Due to the prevailing chaos within the Abyss, compounded by ingrained habitual behavior, a significant portion of the demons in this invading army still perceived the astral world forces as their enemies.

As a direct result, demons began attacking their own allies.

The astral world endured a secondary onslaught. The attacked Gods, naturally, had to retaliate.

Consequently, battles erupted... this absurd charade was finally brought to a halt only after both the astral world and the Abyss suffered the loss of ten Level-10 powerhouses each, making the entire situation quite ludicrous. With the insect tribe's relentless assault, the astral world now counts fewer than 680 Gods. Half are engaged in a desperate struggle in the deep astral, while the other half have journeyed to the Star Wilderness to confront the Heavenly Chopping Alliance Army. This is a stark decline from their peak of over a thousand Gods, a vulnerability palpably felt on the Supreme Battlefield within the astral world, where Star Ancestor weakens by the moment. At this rate, within a millennium, Star Ancestor might fall from the Level 10 Late Stage realm, leaving the Underworld Source River as the universe's undisputed mightiest. Should the Path of Faith crumble, the ensuing avalanche would be irreversible, rendering even their greatest strength a mere illusion. The Abyss, meanwhile, retains 490 Level 10 powerhouses. In comparison, their situation is more favorable than the astral world's. At the Abyss World Worm Headquarters, Abyss Will has stationed 200 elite Level 10 forces to repel any surprise attacks from Nora. The remaining 290 are actively fighting in the astral world. Facing this dire crisis, the gods and demons have united, forming the "Star Abyss Alliance Army." This grand army has forged its armaments and assembled into a formidable force, led by 700 Level 10 experts and over 8000 Level Nine Angel and Demon Lords, poised to strike back. In terms of sheer numbers, even with the insects drawing away some of the enemy's attention, the Star Abyss Alliance Army holds a clear advantage. However, in terms of elite forces, with the astral world's and Abyss's finest either occupied in battle or defending their territories, their quality is significantly inferior to the Heavenly Chopping Alliance Army. This disparity has resulted in a tense stalemate between the two factions. Nevertheless, overall, Nora, who had meticulously prepared, still maintains the upper hand.
