Levi directed his knights to secure and expand the Nightmare Emperor’s Realm in Black Dragon Territory, scattering dragon scales to claim Nightmare power. Nora assembled a massive expeditionary army of forty level-10s and countless legions, proclaiming war and swiftly seizing the Pale Domain. The enraged Master of Horror awakened, issued a recruitment order, but faced mass desertions including the Spirit Monarch to the Underworld, before rallying over two hundred reluctant Monarchs for a counteroffensive.

Nightmare World.

The Monarchs exchanged glances filled with shock upon hearing the Lord of Terror’s declaration.

In moments, utter disbelief swept across their faces.

A Long-sleep Monarch at late-stage Level 10, who had slumbered for six hundred thousand years, voiced his confusion: "Where did such a puny civilization come from, that it dares to invade our great Nightmare Land?!"

Murderous intent surged in the Lord of Terror’s eyes.

He summoned a horrifying, gore-drenched hand of flesh that gripped the Long-sleep Monarch instantly. Restraining the impulse to smash him immediately, he hurled each word in seething rage:

"I told you not to underestimate the enemy! You idiots! You sluggards!"

The Lord of Terror had seen Nora defeat the mighty with inferior forces and recognized her as far from ordinary. Hence, his first teaching to the Nightmare Monarchs: meet foes directly in battle!

The Long-sleep Monarch comprehended the dire circumstances."My Lord, please quell your anger. We understand! We will take this threat seriously!"

This embodies the inertia plaguing these enormous titans.

Despite Nightmare enduring two straight defeats,

amid vast wildernesses and thronged palaces, countless ancient holdovers dismissed Nightmare’s dire threats, sunken in reveries of the ancient Heavenly Dynasty!

The Lord of Terror commanded:

"Ignorance, Death, Disaster... you three, form three separate forces. Send one to curb the Black Dragon Territory’s expansion and hold back Nora. The other two attack straight from Nightmare, surround Nora, expel her followers from the Nightmare World; then, with all three uniting, annihilate Nora."

At these words,

the Ignorant Monarch creased his brow faintly and objected:

"My Lord, this plan has flaws."

"Oh?"

The Lord of Terror locked eyes on Ignorance, keen to hear this Nightmare strategist’s input.

His reputation in Nightmare had sunk due to past war failures. Yet with no superior alternatives, he retained his spot among the Three Emperors.

The Ignorant Monarch elaborated:

"I fear the two forces dispatched from Nightmare could stumble into a Underworld-Nora ambush. From my knowledge, Nora’s armies descend only as avatars.Their power stems from the Chaos Emperor. Should he choose, those legions revive rapidly in Nora proper.United with the Underworld’s strength, encirclement spells our doom. The Chaos Emperor’s baseline power rivals dozens of Monarchs. Add Emmon, Hera, and those mysteriously appearing mechanical entities."

Coldly, the Lord of Terror shot back:

"What do you suggest instead?"

The Ignorant Monarch responded:

"The battle’s pivot is the Chaos Emperor. Home or away matters little—if he endures, disadvantage persists.Fighting here lets their forces resurrect endlessly. Losing an avatar costs them nothing; they rebound quickly. Off-world, we surrender our home-field dominance."

The Lord of Terror snarled:

"How exactly to eliminate him?"

The Ignorant Monarch declared:

"Only awakening the Supreme Will, as I see it."

...

Abyss.

Layer 650: the Wind Demon Lord’s eyes stretched wide in disbelief.

"Nora truly dares to launch a proactive invasion into Nightmare?"

Even this other behemoth, the Abyss, found the notion staggering.

Layer 659: the Dark Spider Mother let out a mocking sneer.

"Does Nora fancy that the Dusk Palace Master’s rise to Chaos Emperor lets them trample all multidimensional planes? History teaches no lessons?"

In the neighboring layer, the succubus queen sensed a tremor in her core.

"Nora’s ambitions soar high. What move will the Chaotic Servant make?"

Layer 666.

The freshly awakened Chaotic Servant brimmed with irritation laced with anger.

"Why rouse me once more?"

It had scarcely begun to doze!

"Lord, two critical updates demand your attention.First, the Dusk Palace Master completed Legendary Ascension, claiming the title [Chaos Emperor]. Second, a decade prior, forty top Nora powerhouses marched armies into Nightmare, igniting full-scale war."

These tidings jolted the Chaotic Servant wide awake.

Internally, it assessed:

"Success at last for him. Sauron’s backing proved vital. Failure would’ve meant abandoning Chaos Path—no wizard reaches Supreme otherwise after Legendary Ascension."

"Nora retaliating against Nightmare—what madness?"

"So audacious to provoke titans? The youth caps at early Level 11 might, matched by early Emmon. Equals the Lord of Terror at best. Facing awakened Nightmare Will how?"

"Underworld aiding them too?"

"Is Nora allying with the Underworld to smash their foes one after another—Nightmare first, Abyss second, and heavens in the end? This bodes very poorly."

The Chaotic Servant jolted in shock, springing to his feet.

His initial guess had been completely off the mark, he now saw.

He had assumed the Underworld just wanted to install Nora as a puppet ruler, or aid her comrades in reaching the Fifth Pole to counter the Dark Insects.

But now, it appeared that the Underworld’s inhabitants—

They pretend to stay neutral, yet secretly aim to conquer all the multidimensional planes!

This realization struck the Chaotic Servant—

The Abyss must not remain passive.

If Nora’s strength swells further, they’ll target the Abyss right after.

From the 657th layer, he called forth Eternal Sleep.

"Head to Nightmare. Inform them the Abyss seeks to plot major schemes together."

Deep down, Eternal Sleep felt extremely reluctant.

Still, she gritted her teeth, set off, and endured the task.

Not long after, she came back from the Abyss.

The Chaotic Servant inquired:

"So? What was Nightmare’s answer?"

Looking somewhat wronged, Eternal Sleep answered:

"They said to get lost."

A chill gripped the Chaotic Servant’s heart.

"Idiots, every one in Nightmare... Never mind. I’ll contact the Lord of Terror directly."

Boom! As a supreme entity,

they can travel to any place they desire.

After all, sending an avatar projection poses no danger of perishing.

Within the Catastrophe Domain, the Lord of Terror busied himself rallying his troops.
