The fall of the Lost Monarch shatters the massive maze illusion that imprisoned countless powerful figures for centuries. As the Shadow Fall Master and various ancient Grand Wizards are liberated, the leaders of the Nora Council seize the opportunity to incorporate these survivors into their ranks. While the Three-party Alliance secures the chaotic battlefield and begins the complex process of distributing spoils, the Master of Horror observes the defeat with dangerous intent. Edmund prepares the council for a shift toward an offensive strategy as the true scale of the war against the remaining Emperors looms.

Nora desperately requires level 10 combat strength.

These regular Monarchs allow for the creation of additional Legendary Artifacts, supreme treasures, and Legendary Wizard Tools, boosting Nora’s elite power.

The Underworld truly lacks elite warriors on par with the Four Emperors.

The Void Holy Temple’s turn arrived, and Hera smiled as she spoke:

"I have no requests. Lord Emmon, please distribute them reasonably."

Emmon nodded, responding:

"I will definitely satisfy the lady."

The leaders debated how to divide the spoils from the war.

Levi made his way back to the Ancient Banyan Fairyland and dropped into sleep the moment he hit the bed.

Elena swooped in, her face filled with worry.

She hadn’t joined this war, remaining instead in the Ancient Banyan Fairyland for postpartum recovery, restoring her health, tending to the triplets, utterly shocked that it concluded in merely one day.

As the Hall Master’s Wife, Elena knew full well the incredible endurance and determination of Levi, along with his unyielding willpower.

In typical situations, not even a full year of fighting.

Would leave Levi this drained and weary.

"Exactly how many fights did he endure back-to-back?"

Elena remained at Levi’s side, awaiting his awakening.

...

Nightmare World.

The Monarchs retreated to their known territories, hearts gripped by lingering terror. Even the Ignorant Monarch bore wounds, with every one suffering injuries to some degree.

After tallying the losses, the Ignorant Monarch’s spirits plummeted.

From the 100 dispatched Monarchs, just 49 managed to survive and flee. The Lost Monarch and the Four Great Demon Lords—five pinnacle powerhouses—all met their end in Nora.

It reflected inwardly.

The previous occasion Nightmare endured such devastating casualties dated back to the Ancient Era, right after Nightmare and the Astral World’s birth, when massive conflicts erupted frequently.

Across the ages up to today, both realms recognized mutual annihilation was impossible, settling for small clashes. Losing dozens of level 10 entities in one day seemed like utter fantasy... completely unthinkable.

Yet now, they had lived through it.

They had borne witness to history!

The implications for Nightmare filled it with dread beyond imagination.

Consider that, including native and foreign Nightmare Monarchs, their world peaked at roughly four hundred fifty Monarchs. In a single strike, a full ninth had been erased.

In the coming era, Nightmare faced the challenge of fending off the covetous gazes of other Giants, particularly their eternal foe, the Astral World, forever scheming to swallow them whole.

Though the Astral World’s level 10 forces fluctuated greatly in quality, many average. Intelligence reports indicated that even post-insect plague, they retained over eight hundred Gods!

The Abyss, despite heavy blows, likely held around five hundred still.

The Underworld boasted the smallest count at three hundred, yet all were top elites, enabling them to rival the Abyss across countless epochs.

The Four Emperors’ lives couldn’t be bartered for thirty standard level 10s.

The Ignorant Monarch declared: "Moving forward, we must recover and strengthen Nightmare’s defenses, guarding against foes who might strike our weakness! For this epoch, we stay hidden in the shadows."

You Xiang Monarch murmured:

"I support the Ignorant Lord’s view... yet what about the Dusk Palace Master?"

The Ignorant Monarch shot back coldly:

"How should I know? Didn’t you witness even the Supreme failing to seize him?"

You Xiang Monarch shivered inwardly and departed in gloom. It yearned only for a hiding spot until the Dusk Palace Master finally faded away.

The remaining Monarchs readied themselves to head home.

A figure drenched in blood, radiating Supreme aura, plummeted from above.

"Hold your ground!"

The Master of Horror surveyed the assembly and intoned gravely:

"Rest up and heal for now, stand by for new commands."

Nightmare couldn’t simply swallow this crushing defeat.

Deep down, it craved vengeance, merely biding time for the perfect moment. With Nora exposing its quasi-Giant might and danger.

It trusted the Astral World and Abyss wouldn’t remain passive.

...

Abyss Layer 645.

The ex-blood battle commander Pazuzu slumbered.

"Lord, disaster has struck."

"What’s got you in such a frenzy?"

"Fresh intel from the front lines: the Nightmare-Abyss alliance has suffered a massive rout."

"Oh? Tell me everything."

Pazuzu mulled over the report from his underling.

"That succubus queen harlot, full of hot air, I figured she was mighty, but she’s not even half as effective as me. With all those forces, they couldn’t take Nora—total failures!

Still, the Dusk Palace Master proves a real headache. No word back from the demons I dispatched; they’re probably all dead.

All told, this clash isn’t wholly disastrous. Nightmare lost over fifty level 10s, including the Four Emperors’ Lost Monarch—this epoch dooms them to weakness.

Abyss should capitalize, picking off Nightmare’s remnants, with [Eternal Sleep] at the forefront, ensuring they never rebound.

Caution remains key, though.

Locked in mortal combat with Nora now, Nightmare will strike back at Nora soon. If Nora grows bold, it could even invade Nightmare outright.

Let these foes battle to oblivion. Ideally, drag in the Astral World for a three-way war. Then Abyss watches and claims the grand prize."

Abyss Layer 663.

Fallen Star Lord Ogrion continued his seclusion.

As an Abyss sage of profound wisdom and stellar prophecy expert, Supreme level beckoned as merely the last hurdle. It dreamed of becoming a Chaotic Servant, standing by the Supreme Will, wielding Abyss’s might.

That moment approached swiftly.

...

Astral World.

The Lord of Storm once more entered the Great Prophet’s dwelling.

"Great Prophet, Nightmare has taken a brutal loss, over fifty Monarchs gone!"

This mighty God wavered between joy and concern.
