Wizard: Starting With the Knights Breathing Method Chapter 3003: 612: The Passing of the Vast Sea
Previously on Wizard: Starting With the Knights Breathing Method...
An ominous consciousness, stretching across the entirety of time and space, descended directly onto the battlefield. A blurred entity, rising to millions of miles in height, manifested immediately, forcing every lord present to tremble and bow in submission.
Even the Legendary Wizard of Nora and the other powerhouses observed this with grave expressions.
The Supreme Executor of the Nightmare Will, the Master of Horror himself, had finally acted!
Perhaps Levi's recent display of power had caused this supreme being to feel uneasy.
Focusing its gaze on the warrior navigating the abyss, it flicked a finger, causing massive, spontaneous walls of flesh to erupt from the void, effectively cornering the black-armored swordsman.
Gazing at the terrifying entity from afar, Levi felt a surge of indomitable heroism swell within his soul.
"Today, I shall test the limits of a supreme being!" His aura surged to its absolute apex. Infusing the Power of Six Emperor Dragons into his mighty blade, he unleashed a strike capable of piercing the heavens!
The fleshy barriers swayed violently under the blow but ultimately refused to shatter.
Disregarding the distance, the horrific figure appeared instantly above Levi, pressing down with a massive palm imprinted with the patterns of the Mother Flesh Tree and the Flesh and Blood Mountains.
"Lord Nether Ancestor, assist me!"
Levi cried out internally.
Another figure clad in grey robes traversed the currents of time, appearing everywhere at once. It materialized behind Levi, gripping his shoulder with a hand as smooth as jade, and shoved him forward with immense force.
Bang!
Levi felt his very soul tremble. He was hurled into a mysterious dimension, successfully bypassing the impenetrable walls of flesh and narrowly dodging the devastating palm.
The Nether Emperors shuddered in unison, their voices thundering: "Welcome, Lord Nether Ancestor!"
The grey-robed swordswoman raised her weapon toward the firmament, releasing a dim Sword Qi brimming with the profound laws of life and death, clashing brutally against the giant palm of flesh.
Witnessing a battle of such supreme magnitude, the onlookers retreated in haste.
Having narrowly escaped death, Levi let out a breath of relief.
"Master of Horror! I will remember you."
While he now reigned supreme beneath the level of the absolute, breaching the final Sky Chasm of the Extraordinary Path to challenge a supreme being remained beyond his current reach.
"It is better to pick on the weak."
Levi locked his predatory gaze onto Prince Thunder.
The Prince felt an icy chill crawl across his skin, unable to prevent himself from shouting: "Damn it, with so many demons about, why did he pick me?"
As a lord of the 290th layer, he possessed respectable power nearing Level 10 Mid Stage, and together with another demon of similar rank, he had been restraining the Holy Dragon Nether Emperor.
This Nether Emperor often directed longing glances toward the fighting of the Emperor of Ten Thousand Beasts, taking comfort in the success of the Nelarayan Beast Master civilization.
Feeling the weight of Levi’s intent, Prince Thunder immediately ditched his ally and turned into a bolt of lightning, diving into the dark. Yet, Levi’s rainbow light proved swifter, closing the gap with terrifying speed.
"Why must you hunt me?"
Prince Thunder fled in panic while Levi remained in hot pursuit.
"Fate has brought us together! Please, desist!"
A playful smirk touched Levi’s lips as he brought his sword down!
Crackle.
Prince Thunder’s physical form detonated into countless electrical arcs, scattering into the shadows.
"You cannot end me!" the Prince screamed, his voice wavering with terror.
Levi shifted into a colossal white dragon, transforming into limitless wind and thunder, tracking the Prince with the tenacity of a parasite.
Each flicker of the White Emperor Wind and Thunder extinguished an arc of demonic energy, until only a single spark remained, darting toward the Succubus Queen’s theater of war.
"Your Majesty, save..."
Before the sentence could be completed, the head of the white dragon lunged from the void, devouring the light and imprisoning it within the White Emperor Palace.
"Dusk Palace Master, meet your end!"
Ignoring the Succubus Queen’s attempt to strike him with her whip-like tail, Levi utilized the Invisible Secret Word to sidestep the blow, casting a pitying look at the Queen for her desperate histrionics.
Prince Thunder was slain!
Six Level 10 demons and nightmares had now fallen at Levi’s hands, while Nora’s cautious defensive strategy had cost them only the Sky Light Empress.
Nora’s disadvantage began to wane.
However, the fortunes of war are ever-shifting.
Amidst the chaos of the sustained combat, a stealthy figure infiltrated the outskirts of Nora.
...Nora Core.
The Survivor of the Vast Sea snapped his eyes open.
A Red Flame Giant Sword, dripping with the essence of destruction, descended from the heavens, causing the very foundations of the earth to tremble.
"The great Surgard has returned!"
A Flame Demon, dwarfing the Fire Giant King in size, emerged.
Though only at Level 10 Early Stage, his mastery of the [Sword of World Destruction] as the Fire Demon Lord commanded reverence even from Level 10 Late Stage experts!
The Survivor of the Vast Sea sighed heavily and pointed a single finger.
A droplet of cerulean water ascended to meet the giant blade.
Legendary Spell: Sea Tears!
Yet, the tear evaporated instantly under the heat of the fire-imbued sword.
"I told you, you are incapable of stopping me... you ancient fossil!"
Surgard laughed maniacally, raining blows upon the Survivor of the Vast Sea.
"I am younger than you truly realize," the Survivor retorted calmly, manifesting his wizard form, [The Bright Moon Over the Sea].
The moon graced the horizon, casting an indomitable, radiant light.
"Utterly useless!"
With a single swing, Surgard shattered the bright moon, severing the sea in two.
With a wave of his hand, the Survivor released spiritual entities to bind Surgard long enough to cry out: "Nora, grant me your strength!"
Empowered by the unseen Will of Nora, his aging physique regained its vitality, and his spiritual force surged. He unleashed a spell nearly reaching tenth-circle perfection, manifesting as a vast ocean that submerged the wailing Surgard.
"Sea Tower! Suppress!"
Breathless, the Survivor mobilized his Legendary Wizard Tool—a blue tower corresponding to the wizard structure—to imprison the Fire Demon Lord.
Whoosh!
A barbed thorn pierced the Elemental Holy Body of the Survivor. Shadowy corruption spread like venom, causing his spiritual energy to wither in an instant.
From the shadows emerged another seductive figure, slinking forward like a cat.
It was the mistress of the 434th Abyss layer, Shadow Demon Queen Rickssa!
Wielding her clan’s magic artifact, the Shadow Whip, she had executed a flawless ambush against the distracted Survivor.
The Survivor muttered weakly, "Shadow Demon Queen... did Pazuzu order this?"
Rickssa whipped her weapon, shredding the Survivor into spray, but he blinked away, revealing a form that had grown frail and aged.
"My Shadow Power will ensure your death soon enough. I must thank that buffoon Surgard; without him forcing your hand, you would have been a nuisance."
A barrage of Shadow Blades erupted; the Survivor dodged, but refused to move away from Nora’s domain. Despite the safety of Nora’s current Will, he could not gamble.
Behind him lay the most vital node of Nora; he could not retreat!
He could not die before reinforcements arrived!
This collective effort, binding the entire Multidimensional Plane from Legendary Wizards to the Nora Wan Clan, had reached the point of no return.
He was ancient, and his death was inevitable anyway.
His knowledge and legacy had already been passed to his pupil, Heim.
Burning his spiritual force for the final time, his life essence retreated like an outgoing tide. In exchange, he manifested one final, desperate ascension, as the light from the Sea Tower enveloped the Nora Will.
The Shadow Demon Queen, seeing the Survivor at his limit, avoided a direct clash, choosing instead to drain his remaining time.
As the old man’s frame trembled, the Shadow Whip constricted around him.
Suddenly, the Sea Tower began to boom. Surgard, having been suppressed in name only, began a violent resistance.
Cracks spiderwebbed across the space, and the Sword of World Destruction clawed an opening.
"Old fool, cease your existence!"
Surgard, barely kept in check, sent the Survivor flying with a savage blow. He then scowled at the Shadow Demon Queen, growling: "Whether Pazuzu sent you or not, leave this place! Nora is my pathway to prove my strength; no one shall pilfer it from me."
The Shadow Demon Queen’s face darkened, yet she did not retreat.
"Do not forget, you are only at Level 10 Early Stage."
"And what of it?"
"Nora offers vast potential. We can divide the spoils."
"Begone! Surgard does not believe in sharing his meal!"
"You... you are truly beyond salvation."
In the height of their lethal impasse, a black-armored form rained down upon the earth. Two perfect Rivers of Sword Qi snaked past the Nora Core like vipers, carving toward the Shadow Demon Queen and Surgard!
Levi materialized before the fading silhouette of the Survivor.
The old man spoke: "Guard this place!"
With those words, his primordial soul dissolved into an infinite sea. 66 Marks of Truth ascended into the heavens, while his boundless wisdom permeated the world before his spirit drifted toward the heights.
The Survivor’s eyes locked onto Levi, his voice filled with gentle resignation: "Levi, the external battles require you. Have the Grand Council Chairman replace you with other Guardians... we lack the numbers, we simply lack enough.
It is a shame... a pity that Heim has not yet reached maturity..."
The old man cast one final look at the Nora Core he had protected for an eternity.
Though his heart clung to life, his soul was pulled into the Mother River.
—
"The pearl of the vast sea, the true king of the four oceans!"
In the year 2400 of the Nora Calendar, the Survivor of the Vast Sea, Edward, perished!
