Levi decisively defeats the Sky Stinky Monarch with his summoned spirits and powerful attacks, destroying its undying body and true soul before collecting the foul spoils. As the Nightmare Monarchs suffer heavy losses, the Lost Monarch casts the Cosmic Labyrinth forbidden spell to enable their retreat from the Shadow Battlefield. The vengeful Sky Filth Monarch attempts a surprise attack on Levi but falls into his illusionary trap, leading to its defeat by Levi's transformation into a Red Giant Dragon, whose devastating breath and claw obliterate the monarch's form and essence.

Even though the Nightmare Monarch managed to flee, a host of overlords and lords remained trapped in the Shadow World, where fierce battles among mighty beings led to a torrent of bloodshed.

The Nightmare forces suffered devastating casualties, comparable to those from the initial grand invasion by Nightmares. With the final Nightmare Creature wiped out, peace finally settled over the shadows.

All those present expressed the elation of having escaped catastrophe.

"It’s truly marvelous; I never imagined we’d successfully defend this realm."

"I nearly thought the Shadow World was doomed to vanish forever."

"In this fight, four monarchs met their end, dealing a massive blow to the Nightmare side. That should buy us at least a hundred days of respite."

"We owe so much to the Dusk Palace Master, who, amidst such chaos, eliminated four monarchs and revealed himself as Nora’s secret trump card!"

From this day forward.

The mighty warriors of the Shadow World now fully trust the Nora Council. Repelling more than thirty monarchs single-handedly—this embodies the spirit of the legendary Supernova King.

The Crimson Emperor Dragon touched down, shifting into the familiar "black-armored swordsman" guise. Levi’s expression revealed a lingering hunger for more combat.

Not nearly enough slaughter; far from it.

The Lost Monarch proved utterly spineless; after merely four monarchs fell, it lost the will to continue and shamefully escaped with its followers, tarnishing the legacy of the Four Emperors.

The elite forces from Nora clustered nearby, exchanging greetings and handshakes with Levi while voicing endless gratitude.

The Lady of Thunder asked:

"Levi, how do you feel right now? I noticed your spiritual force spike abruptly—did you activate the Ascension Secret Technique?"

"I just employed it briefly; it wasn’t too taxing."

The Wind Empress breathed a sigh of relief and offered:

"That’s reassuring. If you require restoration for your Spiritual Origin, I possess a vial of Life-Giving Potion crafted by the Thousand Mountains Immortal."

Levi plays a vital role in the impending clashes against the three giants. Despite Edmund’s formidable strength, his role as a Guardian prevents him from departing Nora amid the swarm of rival powerhouses.

Nora requires a blade of unmatched might to shatter level-10 foes and bolster any frontline whenever needed. Levi stands out as the ideal choice.

Currently only at Knight Level 10, he wields strength to rival Level 10 Late Stage. Upon reaching the legendary domain, he’ll at minimum equal Level 10 Peak.

Beneath the Supreme, none can stand against him.

This holds true even at Level 10 Early Stage; as his sub-realm advances, Levi’s prowess will keep escalating, possibly granting him Supreme Power without true ascension to Supreme.

Herein lies the key! A genuine Supreme’s value to a civilization pales against Levi’s brand of "Supreme Combat Power"—a pseudo-supreme force.

While Supremes attain the universe’s pinnacle in battle might, they face cosmic constraints, ironically forfeiting their liberty. As long as they refrain from frequent interventions, the effects remain minimal. But excessive activity triggers unforeseen repercussions.

To counter this, Supreme Will forges incarnations or proxies at Supreme Level. The authentic body intervenes solely during existential crises for the civilization.

For now, no remedy exists for this limitation; perhaps only by attaining Supreme Realm and surpassing the universe can one shatter this bind.

Sensing the warmth from the Legendary Wizards, Levi grinned and replied:

"Thanks, Lady Andrea; I’m doing well."

A silhouette emerged in front of Levi—it was the Star Sky Sword Saint.

"Levi, have you attained level 10?"

"Indeed."

"Hahaha, excellent! Remember our pact."

"When the conflict calms, we’ll have that duel."

Levi inquired:

"What’s the strategy for the Shadow World moving ahead?"

Charactus responded:

"This conflict has shown me that isolation here offers no defense against the Nightmare. Sir Levi’s timely aid saved us this once, but we can’t count on it forever.

The Undying ShadowVicna’s example has enlightened me. The Shadow World must abandon its age-old divisions and strive for unity and cohesion.

Beginning with Nora’s Dark Side, we’ll incorporate the Shadow World into it, then rally the dispersed fragments throughout the Multidimensional Plane, rebuilding the universal Dark Side.

To that end, I plan to guide the Nine Shadow Sovereigns in allying with the Nora Council. Please relay this to the Star Sky Sword Saint and Lady Hera."

The Star Sky Sword Saint nodded: "Understood."

The Shadow World differs from the Void Holy Temple, which operates like a wandering faction without a permanent base; Hera harbors no fear of Nightmare Monarchs assaulting her domain.

Levi commented:

"This is splendid; today’s Nora mirrors the Shadow World of old—we tread the same road. Plus, Nora dwells in the light while you reside in the shadows. Harmony can prevail without major clashes or rivalry.

The wizards’ Shadow School of Thought can bridge the light and dark, aiding in the swift gathering of shadow shards."

"Very well, thank you, Sir Levi."

In this way, the Three-party Alliance shrinks to a Two-party one; the Void Holy Temple’s scale seems trivial next to Nora’s.

Following deliberations with the Supreme Council.

The monumental merger with the Shadow World commenced at last. Unlike previous standard plane integrations, this former quasi-giant super world—even merely its visible portion—surpasses the entirety of the present New World in scope.

Should the integration triumph, Nora’s Dark Side will expand dramatically. The bolstered strength will deliver Nora’s light side the most profound upgrades in its history.

...

Five years passed.

Nora Calendar 2170, Blood Battle 2058.

Nightmare World, Lost Domain.

Nightmare Monarchs arrived from above, their expressions grim as if mourning a fallen kin, standing mute for an extended period until a skeletal white figure approached.

"Pale Monarch? You survived?"

The Lost Monarch demanded sharply.

The remaining monarchs fixed icy glares upon the Pale Monarch.

The Pale Monarch offered a wry grin, heaved a sigh, and stated:
