Wizard: Starting With the Knights Breathing Method Chapter 2955: 600: Nightmare Four Emperors!
Previously on Wizard: Starting With the Knights Breathing Method...
The Devouring Sky Demon Lord and his companions burst into laughter, declaring:
"No issue at all, we get it completely."
Everyone was familiar with the Ignorant Monarch's nature.
No one raised any complaints; across almost a hundred thousand years, they had fought countless big and small conflicts in the astral realm, and in those involving the Ignorant Monarch, nine times out of ten ended in triumph!
The one exception hardly qualified as a defeat, since the Great Prophet entered the conflict, leading to a stalemate where neither side could overpower the other, prompting a mutual decision to withdraw.
During their return journey, the Blood Sea Mosquito Lord sighed deeply:
"Now that the Ignorant Monarch is in the fight, victory is guaranteed this round!"
With a sly grin, the Void Demon Lord remarked:
"I’m eager to witness the cold Frost Witch trembling in astonishment right in front of me, utterly helpless, hahahaha."
...Ten years passed.
Nora Calendar 1960, Blood Battle 1848.
With Nora’s policy of offering supreme treasures as rewards spreading throughout the Pan-Plane, the proverb "high rewards draw the bold" held firm, drawing a level 10 powerhouse to Nora shortly after.
That very day, high above the Sorren Continent,
a mighty entity like a drifting jellyfish appeared, its body semi-transparent, featuring back wings and faint humanoid feminine traits, as it arrived.
Lady Echo Ico.
An early-stage level 10 powerhouse, her actual form belongs to the Echo Clan, expert in sound and mental spells, manipulation, and transformation paths.
Rumors claim she uses [Echo Technique] to somewhat imitate and copy the powers of opponents she faces, albeit less potently than the originals.
Yet, in certain fights, this ability shines remarkably.
"Welcome to Nora, Lady Echo."
Edmund himself arrived to receive her.
"It’s unsettling to have the Grand Council Chairman welcome me personally. I arrived after hearing about the call for level 10 mercenaries. I seek a supreme treasure, and I’ll depart once my task is done."
Lady Echo cut to the chase.
"Understood, but I must clarify from the start: the supreme treasure holds immense value, so everyone must sign a contract overseen by our council’s round table. Violating it, without supreme power, leads to inevitable doom."
"That’s fine."
In this way, Lady Echo joined as Nora’s initial level 10 mercenary, securing a provisional position on the Supreme Council as a "guest consultant."
She further obtained the supreme treasure [Nebula Shroud], able to hide senses, generate illusions, and trap foes, holding rank 52.
Following Lady Echo’s successful example, in the next ten years, two additional level 10 powerhouses arrived in Nora, claimed supreme treasures, and stayed temporarily.
They included [Chaotic Heaven Saint] and [Star Shining Tyrant].
The first, an early-stage level 10 strength specialist, started without a supreme treasure, yet ranked higher than the Holy War Army Master in the Pan-Plane list, mainly due to his origin in the [Chaotic Sky Clan], innately able to manipulate space, achieving full control at level 10.
Together with the Void Emperor, they form the famed [Space Double Kings] across the Pan-Plane.
[Chaotic Heaven Saint] received the [Sealing Star Mad Blade], at rank 48, which seals space and destroys everything, matching his skills ideally. Clearly, the council selects the best-fitting supreme treasures for each powerhouse’s strengths.
The [Star Shining Tyrant] hails from the Star Shining Clan, a pinnacle of the Black Luster Clan, called the "Little Amethyst Race" in the Pan-Plane, possessing Vajra-like indestructibility and peerless divine might.
At mid-stage level 10, he gained the council’s [Fury Fist], gloves that enhance power and velocity, unleashing peak destruction.
Within a mere twenty years, three level 10 powerhouses had come.
This highlights the immense pull of those supreme treasures.
Despite awareness of the foe from the Giant World, they traveled from distant places, believing they could exit after fulfilling their duties.
Two years afterward.
The Master of Black Prison arrived, adept at capturing adversaries, rumored to harbor an internal prison space that confines numerous mighty enemies, at early-stage level 10. He secured the supreme treasure [Flame Lord Magic Ring], which unleashes fire spells to incinerate all matter.
At that moment, counting the four outside helpers,
Nora’s level 10 powerhouses totaled 40, plus the Void Holy Temple and Shadow World each gained one more at level 10, making 63 in all from the three level 6 factions!
This ignited an arms buildup in the Nightmare World, racing to enlist extra Nightmare Lords to crush this motley group of rebels all at once!
...
Ancient Banyan Fairyland.
In the midst of the high-stakes tension from massive conflicts, Levi diligently pursued his cultivation, echoing the frail days of his early time as the Black Water Lord, grasping every second.
That day, following his meditation session.
He laid his hand upon the Klein Crystal Ball.
[Spiritual Force: 74000/77000]
...
In the last century, his spiritual force rose by 2000 points, while the cap grew by 1000 points, approaching the 80,000 threshold.
Partly, he crafted assorted farming-related oddities, and partly, he boosted the limit via finishing more sequence artifacts.
To him, reaching 80,000 as a limit sufficed amply.
This already exceeded the usual benchmark by 10,000 points.
As for spells, the sealing sequence progressed to "Eight Gates Sealing," yielding superb outcomes, now commonly used by primordial soul wizards.
Concerning Rune Languages.
[Fool Rune] rose to level 17, enhancing trickery and the Power of Foreknowledge by 250%; [Magic Rune] reached level 16, increasing casting speed by 200%; [Hanging Rune] hit level 14, raising elemental resistance by 160%; Justice Rune advanced to level 12, granting 120% extra damage to dark creatures.
Moreover,
In the prior seclusion within the Black Water World, Levi picked up two fresh Rune Languages as well.
Levi————————
Empress Rune: Level 7 (1/50,000), Special Effect: Power of Soul Tiger Star.
Judgement Rune: Level 7 (1/50,000), Special Effect: Golden Pheasant Star Power.
...
The Empress Rune offered an odd boosting effect called [Soul Strength], and after Levi’s prolonged experiments, it primarily improved meditation output, resisted psychic assaults, and aided certain spells aimed straight at the psyche and determination.
The Judgement Rune’s boosting effect centered on [Spiritual Damage], particularly strengthening harm from mental strikes in one aspect, and against ethereal beings in another, like Nightmare Creatures or Star Realm Creatures.
The "Book of Starforge Runes" listed numerous Rune Languages, yet Levi’s trials showed most were uncultivable, evidently from the star beasts’ extinction, split and devoured by the Heavenly Fathers, erasing their faith sources.
Some others allowed cultivation but, similar to the Hermit Rune, only up to level 1 or 2, with no further progress, making their impact trivial.
The final group, though cultivable, delivered mediocre gains, so Levi ceased investing effort after basic mastery and set them aside.
From the count of usable Rune Languages under his control, Levi approximated that the concealed and enduring Star Gods totaled at most thirty.
From the Twelve Signs, he had collected 11 already, missing just the Dragon.
Across the whole "Book of Starforge Runes," the most desired for cultivation by him were the [Star Rune] and [World Rune]. Regrettably, neither was feasible, as they embodied [Star Dragon King] and [Origin Divine Tree].
The first evolved into a Faith God, biding its time steadfastly.
The second crumbled to ashes, with merely a handful of offspring left alive.
