Wizard: Starting With the Knights Breathing Method Chapter 2945: 598: God Race’s Grand Ceremony (part 2)

Previously on Wizard: Starting With the Knights Breathing Method...
The Holy War Army Master, long-time dominator of the Multidimensional Plane, falls to the Dusk Hall Master in a brutal battle amid fog-shrouded slaughter, where level 10 forces eradicate the god races serving the Blood Fire Dominator. Levi claims a powerful Treasure-level weapon and feeds battle experience to the Demon Emperor, pushing it to peak level 9, while Leon secures a level 10 soul for devouring. In the Astral World, the Blood Fire Dominator senses the loss, weakening and suffering injury from the Queen Stinging Snake, forcing a retreat that shatters its army's stalemate and prompts it to devour other gods' authorities for recovery. Peering into the ruined Holy War World proves futile against concealing mists, leaving the Dominator to await the Star Ancestor's intervention.

...

Meanwhile.

Somewhere within the Land of Darkness.

Levi wrapped up his check of the loot obtained from raiding the Divine Race Headquarters. As the possessor of the Dark Ancient Tower and a witness to countless marvels, he still felt a deep astonishment.

In total, there were 4399 Truth Oddities, with three originating from Radiant Sun: [Fire God’s Fury], [Thunder God’s Head], and [Golden Emperor’s Palace].

The initial pair requires little explanation; they serve as Sequence Artifact pieces. The Golden Emperor’s Palace belongs to the Elemental Proof category, delivering an unexpected delight.

Regarding rare treasures, 1024 pieces stood out, encompassing 11 Nine-level Treasures. The majority consisted of uniform rare treasures forged by the Holy War Army Master for his incarnations, specifically the [Golden Moon Halberd].

Three standout items included:

[Black Demon Armor], [Sun Piercing Spear], [Fierce Dragon Boxing Gloves].

All three rank as elite among level nine, perfect for the Fire Dragon Knight to wield. With his current late level 8 power, equipping it enables clashes with level nine foes.

The next one, a spear, suits Louise perfectly, given her mastery in spear skills. As a level 9 powerhouse, her lack of a nine-level treasure had seemed quite odd.

The Fierce Dragon Boxing Gloves match Gandalf well, the Body Refining Great Wizard skilled in fisticuffs, granting boosts to power and strike potency.

The worth of the remaining materials probably surpasses 20 trillion Aether Stones, which Levi found too tedious to count, so he just dumped them into the group's vault.

Additionally, around 110,000 transcendent beings raised by the God Race appeared, featuring roughly three thousand from the Dragon Clan, mostly a hybrid dragon breed: [Blood Dragon Horse], serving as steeds for Divine Race troops, providing swift mobility and fight assistance.

For years, Twilight Sanctuary had experimented with dragon-horse hybrids to equip all members with rides. This haul from the God Race turns out to be a fortunate gain.

Of course, the worth of all these items fades beside the level 36 supreme treasure in Levi's grasp: [Sunset Moonfall Halberd].

Upon refining it, Levi uncovered its three primary abilities:

First off, it heightens the wielder's power and velocity, boosting each by roughly 300%.

Next, it houses several level-10 special effects, like the advanced sharpness [Gold Cutting] and the superior durability [Indestructible]. Armed with this treasure, Levi won't fret over weapon breakage until Crimson Dragon Slashes reaches level ten.

Lastly, when battling close to a plane, the halberd pulls in the plane's power to utterly overwhelm the opponent. The greater the number of planes, the stronger the crush. When combined with the Holy War Army Master's original spear art, the results amplify even further.

"As a supreme treasure at the lower ranks, it proves quite adequate."

Levi swung the halberd, each swing rattling many surrounding planes, as though they yearned to sway in rhythm with the weapon.

"Armed with this, I can skip relying on Dragon Spirit and Worm Lord. I could take on those lacking supreme treasures even at level 10 middle stage... Supreme treasures hold immense importance at level ten."

On that day, Levi located a forsaken world and built a huge refining formation in its barren lands. The Eternal Star Abyss came down, hurling tens of thousands of Divine Race warriors into the setup. They remained breathing, though their cultivation stood sealed.

At the heart sat the Giant Head Star Lord, boasting peak level 9 cultivation from the Thunder Clan, famed for thunder traits. Levi intended to forge it into the ultimate Sun Refining Artifact [Thunder Emperor’s Crown].

For the offerings, obviously, the fates of these Divine Race members sufficed. Levi had preserved their existences until this moment, brutal though it seemed. But such is the brutal truth of Civil War.

Under a barrage of endless maledictions, the refining ceremony commenced. Levi perched aloft in the heavens, observing the fading sparks of myriad lives.

All the souls and bodies of the Divine Race fed into the sacrifice, and shortly the Octagonal Star Formation arose. The Giant Head Star Lord perished in agony, its Creation cultivation dissolving back into the cosmos, swiftly gathering beneath the refining array.

And so, a month elapsed.

The emblematic Oddity Great Tribulation shattered under Levi’s fist, its thunderclouds scattering through the firmament, silencing the realm as a violet crown floated overhead.

Levi, clutching [Golden Emperor’s Palace] in his left and [Thunder Emperor’s Crown] in his right, made his way back to the refuge, enveloping the zone in the Night Barrier Bead’s fog, and dove into secluded practice.

...

Ten years whisked by in an instant.

In that span, wanderers now and then wandered into the haze encircling Levi’s retreat, only to get ejected, departing with traces of dread.

Over time, this spot surprisingly evolved into a no-go area.

Post-artifact refinement, Levi avoided hasty exit, instead steadying his spiritual force domain to sidestep drawbacks from hasty growth.

One fine day, a pair of golden silhouettes approached from the distance, radiating mighty auras. One donned golden plate, bearing Golden Scales upon his brow, a single horn, and a curved beak-like nose, projecting a sovereign vibe akin to the Golden Horned King from Journey to the West.

The companion was an elderly figure in a golden robe dotted with stars and golden locks. He fondled his golden whiskers, engaging in cheerful banter with the armored golden one. At last, they halted at the edge of the boundless fog.

The golden-haired senior remarked:

"Curious, I’ve heard this fog once held a level 9 expert captive for three years prior to release. It has to be some relic of an ancient array."

The horned, hooked-nose figure stated:

"Maybe it signals the birth of a scarce treasure. With such potency, might it not be a supreme treasure? What say you, Golden King, shall we venture in together?"

The golden-haired senior chuckled and responded:

"We both stand at late stage level 9 cultivation; united, scarcely anyone under level 10 could match us. Though the fog packs a punch, it ought not to confine us.

Yet suppose a supreme treasure truly awaits? Then what?"

The hooked-nose answered assuredly:

"In that case, we’d settle it by our abilities. Though we’ve been acquaintances for a thousand years, shirking a contest over a supreme treasure would defy the heavens themselves."
