On the Ninth Floor of the Ancient Tower.
The hidden surprises in the easter eggs have fully concluded.
"Song Lun, a name so plain, mirroring my unremarkable existence before... So the origin of Sauron's name truly stems from 'Magic Ring'.
I figured that was his identity in this existence. Sauron does sound rather grand. If only I'd realized sooner, I'd have picked something even more majestic."
Levi tucked the note away, gave it another glance, and departed from the chamber. Just as anticipated, the ninth floor held no further journal surprises from Sauron.
Thus, no sanctuary constructed by Sauron existed. As for the key happenings in Sauron's history and the foes awaiting him ahead, Levi now possessed a solid grasp.
It matters little anymore if Sauron lives or has perished.
Regardless, all that he bequeathed marches forward steadily along his intended path. Bridging eras past and present, he treats the Multidimensional Plane like a grand game board, forging the Golden Era of his dreams.
Nora carries forth his intentions.
...
Months slipped away as time flowed onward.
Nora Calendar 1818, Blood Battle 1706.
Levi made his way back to the Land of Darkness, where the Dark Ancient Tower once more brimmed with bountiful gains this visit.
A single supreme treasure, along with two nine-level rare treasures and forty-two additional high-quality rare treasures; three hundred forty-six Truth Oddities, including two of Glorious Sun-Grade, one Wind God, and one Earth God.
On top of that, he uncovered five varieties of level-nine ores, twenty-four kinds of level-6+ ores, plus four Aether Stone deposits projected to yield trillions in output.
Wealth is indeed endless in its demands.
Seventeen types of level-6+ exotic plants, an abundance of medicinal herbs, fourteen sub-dragons, more than a hundred mixed-blood dragons—though no pure-blooded Dragon Clan appeared.
No encounters with other Legendary Creatures occurred.
Finally, a translucent, glowing cyan root appeared in Levi's hand, its potent herbal scent utterly captivating.
He flipped open the "Divine Medicine Atlas," assembled and detailed by the Medicine God, which catalogs more than a hundred divine medicines that defy destiny or prolong life. Such divine medicines remain exceedingly scarce; to date, only these have surfaced.
The item he obtained was [Glazed Seven-leaf Qing], an earth element divine medicine that needs no processing—direct ingestion restores 99% of wounds for fighters at level-10 or lower, restoring their vitality.
Moreover, it grants roughly 1000 years to a person's life, viewed merely as a bonus effect.
"Snagged the earth element divine medicine; just three left to finish the collection."
Though Levi could acquire divine medicines via Nora, he favors gathering them personally to avoid burdening the group, especially since he alone claims a Dark Ancient Tower. It's wiser to reserve those divine medicines for fellow members who truly require them.
The merging process in the Black Water World presses on.
Levi chose not to meddle, instead activating the round table to reach out to Gargamel, delving deeper into sealing spell studies until, without realizing, a full month elapsed.
This stands as the toughest magic sequence Levi has tackled yet, demanding expertise across every domain and a host of spells.
With this sequence finished, Levi plans to abandon further spatial sequences. His upcoming pursuit in sequence magic, the formidable Chaos Magic, will demand a substantial investment of time.
Upon reaching peak spiritual force, the prototype for ten-ring magic ought to take shape, allowing Levi a smooth ascent into the legendary realm.
...
Two years afterward.
Nora Calendar 1820.
In the Dark Deep Space, a pair of icy beams pursued each other relentlessly, punctuated by sporadic "Gaga" cries, the beams manifesting as a Cold Crow and an Aurora Bird.
Ayak had ventured from home three centuries prior. It roamed wildly alongside the Aurora Bird through the barren deep space, having long abandoned thoughts of the Cold-calling Bird. Provided Ayak flatters sufficiently, it's no mere sycophant but a sly rogue!
Along its journey, Ayak amassed a vast hoard of treasures, mostly frost-aligned, sufficient to adorn its romantic haven upon eventual return and share a blissful existence with the Aurora Bird.
Wait, it has no intention of heading back. That way, everyone would realize the household simply can't thrive without Ayak!
"Ayak, I'm exhausted; let's pause and rest a bit."
The Aurora Bird, only at early level 8 strength, found it hard to match Ayak's speed, were it not for its remarkable swiftness—Ayak agreed with a nod.
They found themselves within the Star Tomb belt at the Pan-plane Edge, surrounded by barren emptiness devoid of any valuables.
All at once, the keen-sighted Ayak detected an unusual meteorite afar, standing out from the typical dark ones as this gleamed ice blue, radiating a piercing frost energy.
It drew close and blasted the meteorite apart using an ice arrow.
Boom!
The meteorite burst apart, shards scattering wildly, and inside lay a frozen humanoid figure encased in ice, with an appealing build, striking looks, long expired but body preserved flawlessly, save for a fissure across the brow.
Ayak instinctively detected something valuable within.
Yet hesitation gripped it, fearing the figure might revive.
"Gaga."
Ayak turned to the Aurora Bird for aid.
The charming small bird fluttered nearer and spotted the ice sculpture too.
"Shall I check it out for you?"
"Ga."
The little bird gave it no second thought; the Aurora descended, pulling the ice sculpture closer, which slowly fractured to expose the body inside.
Lacking the ice's safeguard, the body crumbled to powder right away, breaking down into icy crystal specks that faded into the emptiness. A lone bead, shaped like an eye, lingered floating in place.
"Such an odd eyeball; I have this urge to swallow it whole."
The Aurora Bird declared abruptly, its gaze flickering with a sinister light.
Ayak snatched it up in a flash and gulped it down ahead.
In that instant, the Aurora Bird shook free from the trance.
"Ayak, cough it up now; that's not safe to eat—it just ensnared my mind; I believe this bead harbors a spirit."
