Nightmare World.
Levi located his three followers and asked about the local conditions, detecting a profound sense of peril radiating from the Lost Domain's direction.
"I'm afraid more than thirty Nightmare Monarchs have assembled there, with no end in sight. The Nightmare World might be scheming something grand. Could they be calling forth a hundred or even more... If that's the case, we're in deep trouble."
The whole Pan-Plane boasts only a bit over a hundred, and Nora commands just one-third of them right now. Facing a three-to-one odds, Nora's prospects look grim... The real challenge boils down to Emmon, who's almost at level 11.
Meanwhile, in the Giant World, no level 11 has shown up yet.
"Keep hunting for signs of the Twilight Demon."
"Understood!"
Abandoning the Nightmare realm, Levi shifted back to the real world and contacted the Supreme Council, relaying the intel he'd collected to the Legendary Wizard, and calling on all to stay vigilant.
...
A month afterward.Sauron Continent, Supreme Council.
Gathered around the circular table were projections of forty level 10 powerhouses, comprising 34 from the Nora Civilization—Legendary Wizards, Giant Kings, Five Barbarian Lords—and even the Vast Sea Survivor from the Earth's Core joined via projection.
The sole empty spot belonged to the old Dragon Flame God's position.
Among the remaining six level 10 powerhouses, three hailed from the Shadow World and three from the Void Holy Temple, headed by Shadow Emperor Charactus and Void Holy Seat Hera.
Their actual bodies had arrived in Nora, signaling talks of vital importance.
Confronting the hostile Nightmare World, how could Nora slack off? Edmund had already reached out to the heads of those two premier factions.
Opposite Edmund sat Hera, where a man and a woman both exuded a fearsome presence, akin to sun and moon hanging side by side.
"I've long admired Lady Hera's fame; it truly lives up to the hype!"
"Mr. Emmon too; meeting you proves rumors don't do justice."
They traded praises, though an undercurrent of competition simmered in their exchange.
Charactus declared:
"Time presses, so let's hash out the treaty's specifics."
In the following month, the three factions' leaders clashed in endless debates on collaboration and pact issues, their arguments as intense as a battlefield duel.
Hera and Charactus were no pushovers, each nursing grand visions of supreme achievements and tangled motives.
Still, with the Abyss and Nightmare as their common foe, they forged an agreement under that key condition.
At last, the "Multidimensional Plane Friendly Mutual Assistance Alliance Treaty" emerged, the inaugural pact bridging multiple civilizations and races in the Multidimensional Plane!
Treaty Agreement:
[Starting from the signing date, Nora Calendar year 1800, the three sides pledge mutual aid and trade, fair rivalry, and united action against current and future threats like the Abyss, Nightmare, Astral World, insects, Underworld, while respecting each other's sovereignty and avoiding meddling.
If any side suffers an assault from foes, the other two shall provide full backing without hesitation. For rapid aid and army movement, Nora’s Star Gate Network, Shadow World’s Shadow Network, and Void Holy Temple’s Void Network will open freely to allies until the treaty expires.
...]
This alliance's inking stood as the grandest occurrence since the Pan-Plane's Near Ancient Era, birthing a cross-Multidimensional Plane union excluding Giants.
Nora now commanded 34 level 10 powerhouses, Void Holy Temple ten, and Shadow World eleven, summing to 55. Even factoring in hidden or obscure level 10s, this bloc gripped half the Demiplane's domain.
Henceforth.
These three groups, with their 55 powerhouses, would stand or fall as one... until toppling the three colossal giant realms, until the old era crumbles, until new realms dawn!
Naturally, the "Alliance Treaty" sketched initial plans for a possible fresh world setup, stressing joint exploration of the Multidimensional Plane, shunning violence and conflict, and curbing needless loss of life.
Yet nothing was carved in stone.
As the proverb warns, the river flows east for thirty years, then west for thirty; Shadow World and Void Holy Temple also nursed grand designs, unwilling to play second fiddle forever.
Fortunes shift without warning, and they dreamed of rising tides lifting them, maybe spawning a rival to Nora's might in the race for dominance.
The Nora Council shared that view: in the dance of civilizations, no bonds last forever—only interests endure.
An ally today might turn rival in ten thousand years.
...
Post-treaty signing, Levi sensed a touch of ease. Scant though they were, the Pan-Plane's elites had all risen from humble origins to their civilizations' peaks, outshining most lesser gods.
Fifty-five, adding himself, scraped together fifty-six.
Provided this coalition held firm, it needn't match the insects' total unity to hold off the Nightmare World temporarily.
Levi trusted that upon hitting level 10 himself, the Triangles panel would let him crush mighty enemies solo.
Recall how Hera, at least at level 10's apex, almost lost the Grey Mist Monarch; typical level 10s demand group efforts, skill synergies, and traps to clinch wins.
Levi required none of that; versatility equaled total mastery!

Two years on.

Nearly four decades had passed since Triss secluded herself for her ninth-circle breakthrough, with figures now and then peering at the wizard tower, worry etched on their faces.
