Wizard: Starting With the Knights Breathing Method Chapter 2910: 591: The Grey Mist Monarch Falls!

Previously on Wizard: Starting With the Knights Breathing Method...
Levi pondered Sauron's grand ambitions to dismantle the dominant giants of the universe, sparing only the Underworld as an ally, while harvesting valuable artifacts from an ancient temple, including a Divine Crystal, a divine weapon, and clues to the Giant Kingdom. Guided by his familiar Jin, he subdued a juvenile Sky Frost White Snake in a hidden Cold Pond, extracting the [Poison Dragon’s Tooth] oddity for Triss and claiming the serpent as a companion. Over the following months, Levi amassed treasures like the Fire Crow’s Nest, Sword of the Copper King, rare ores, Black Star Wood, and Ghost Pupil Grass before returning to the enveloping gray mists of the Land of Darkness, where a mocking voice trapped him in the [Gray Mist Domain].

The Land of Darkness.

A vast, unending shroud of gray fog blankets everything.

Suddenly, an ambush targets Levi.

One has to admit, this Nightmare Monarch possesses real cunning.

It appears to command a sophisticated tracking method, sticking to Levi like a shadow, preparing its snare during his time inside the Dark Ancient Tower.

The instant Levi emerged, he plunged straight into the trap.

Right now, Levi had no desire for battle; facing off against a mid-stage level-10 foe was beyond him, and it would just drain his energy and delay him needlessly.

He triggered the Invisible Secret Word, picking a random path forward.

Whoosh!

In the blink of an eye, he had covered a distance of a million miles.

Levi materialized from the glow, his face etched with gravity.

Everywhere stretched the infinite gray fog, thick and insistent, attempting to breach his Blood Battle Armor, infiltrate his flesh, all while a wicked chuckle echoed around him.

"I’ve told you, no one can escape my Grey Mist Domain. Do you think killing one Artu makes you special?"

Levi paid no heed to the Grey Mist Monarch’s mocking words.

This creature truly had devious skills, far surpassing Artu in potency. It might not dominate in raw clashes, yet its powers carried an unsettling edge.

The Grey Mist Domain warped and twisted the very fabric of space. Thus, though Levi believed he had shifted a million miles, in truth, he remained rooted in place.

The domain’s span wasn’t limited to just a million miles.

To verify his theory, Levi performed three additional teleports along the same line, surpassing four million miles total.

As expected, the gray fog’s grip hadn’t loosened one bit.

"Warping space, fascinating." Levi set aside any ideas of escape, unsheathing the Crimson Dragon Slash. If combat was what it craved, he would deliver.

"Haha, not running anymore?"

The voice rang out once more from the depths of the fog.

Levi offered a slight grin, settling into a cross-legged position.

"Yes, I’m not running, just taking a break."

The churning fog closed in from every angle, and Levi caught the crackle of space fracturing, like some unseen barrier seeking to trap him tight.

A crushing force weighed upon the Blood Battle Armor, igniting fierce bursts of flame.

Levi stayed composed; beyond spiritual force, he relied on the armor’s unyielding defensive toughness, which no one below level 11 could shatter.

To craft a single level-10 Crystal Core, Sauron had expended ten of them. And that was without counting the other Divine Artifacts, Primordial Relics, and resources poured in.

The might of the Vajra Sacred Realm enveloped him, blocking any chance for the fog to seep through, as he pondered strategies to shatter this deadlock.

Perhaps the Grey Mist Monarch held caution toward Levi; up to now, it avoided revealing itself, merely persisting in wearing him down via the Grey Mist Domain.

"In scenarios like this, breaking the core entity is often the key to victory."

Levi’s Deep Red Eyes flared wide, unleashing countless crimson rays that scanned in all directions. Beyond predicting threats, the Deep Red Eyes could cut through deceptions.

As a formidable Nightmare Monarch, this adversary probably drew on highly refined illusion arts. With that in mind, Levi summoned the Nightmare Emperor Dragon.

"It’s useless."

The ghostly voice returned.

The crimson glow slowly faded; Levi withdrew the Deep Red Eyes, a smirk playing on his lips.

"Oh, so you’re there."

The gray fog went quiet briefly, then let out a scornful laugh:

"Trying to trick me? Naive."

It refused to accept that Levi had pierced its veils.

Levi rose to his feet, unwilling to linger in this spot, fearing he might get hauled to the Nightmare World’s stronghold and subjected to sealing and refinement.

"Omniscient, nothing can hide! No Hidden Heaven!"

Buzz!

The Six Holy Heavens manifested, and Levi’s presence faded away.

"Damn it, impossible!"

A shocked cry reverberated through the fog.

Inside No Hidden Heaven, Levi manifested upon a Throne, gazing down from a separate plane and realm, piercing every illusion and labyrinth beneath.

Laid bare before him was a swirling mass of gray fog spanning roughly ten thousand miles, twisting about as an arcane energy tugged at the nearby space, shaping it into a spherical enclosure. Beneath this force field, space bent into a looping circuit.

"No surprise I couldn’t break free by flight; now I see. This technique is clever, offering insights; it’ll prove invaluable for my later studies on space-based spells."

The Deep Red Eyes fixed on the southeast edge of the fog, where a furtive shape glanced skyward, locking eyes with Levi.

A massive limb of gray fog lunged toward him.

"You can’t escape! No matter which dimension you enter, you’re ultimately still within the original space; no matter how you teleport or use Void Travel, or Elemental Escape Technique, you’ll never leave. This is my Grey Mist Domain!"

"The path of Space, even many level-10 late-stage can’t compare to me. Let alone you, just a level 9 knight relying on brute force."

Boom!

Levi’s figure dropped from No Hidden Heaven, with the Blood Battle Spirit rising behind him, spearheading an assault toward the southeast sector, a raging Blood Sea surging forth.

The enormous misty limb smashed into the Blood Sea, ripping it asunder, hurling the Blood Battle Spirit aside.

Seizing the moment, Levi unleashed his Sword Qi, extending it to envelop the Grey Mist Monarch’s true form.

He invoked the full might of the six-layered Holy Domain, activating every one of the Blood Battle Armor’s six attribute enhancements save for spiritual force; regarding the Frost Giant Ancestor’s power, he held it in reserve, since it endured only briefly and demanded the perfect instant.

"One Spear Breaks Nine Stars!"

The spear art inherited from the Holy War Monarch linked the celestial bodies of the Nine Heavens, and as stellar illusions winked out, a torrent of utter devastation erupted, Sword Qi swallowing the hazy gray form.

The Grey Mist Monarch’s body vanished entirely.

All at once, from behind Levi, a huge gray fog palm struck down at him.

Bam! His body flew backward, blood and tissue erupting inside.

"Tsk tsk tsk, I’ve heard you have the power of Undying. Let me see how many times you can resurrect. In this world, there’s no true immortality!"
