Wizard: Starting With the Knights Breathing Method Chapter 2900: 589: The Shadow World Rekindled! Nightmare’s Crushing Defeat!
Previously on Wizard: Starting With the Knights Breathing Method...
The arrival of the Seven Sins holds the same weight as the joint invasion by the Four Great Demon Lords from the Abyss.
During the last conflict in the Shadow World, all Seven Demon Lords joined the battle, leading to utter devastation that shrouded the realm in shadows and destruction, nearly obliterating the Shadow World entirely.
Out of the Seven Sins, [Jealousy] fell during the Shadow's desperate last stand, while [Sloth] and [Fury] suffered grave wounds.
From that point onward, the original Seven Sins lineup faded into the past.
Toward the rear of the assembly, the Ghost Alley Monarch remains quietly in place.
It yearns for the Great Monarchs to swiftly eliminate the Dusk Palace Master, stopping him from gaining any further strength.
Moments slip by.
In time, every Monarch gathers, their combined 27 level-10 presences weaving together and making the Nora Dark Side quiver. Thankfully, after almost two millennia of merging, the dark side has grown vastly alongside Nora, now infinitely more solid than in earlier days.
The Lost Monarch abruptly declares:
"Get ready to commence..."Its words trail off as the dark side jolts like it's caught in a massive quake, prompting every Nightmare Monarch to shift their faces and gaze upward.
Amid that soot-covered sky, a fierce crimson glow starts to pierce through. In this sunless expanse of the universe's dark side... Edmund arrives, bringing daylight with him!
A swirling gray portal materializes, forming a massive gateway linking Nora’s true realm to the Ashen World, from which silhouettes begin to drop down.
Edmund, Gullwig, Heavenly Will, the quartet of barbarian tribal gods, Pandora Matriarch, Whale Emperor... plus more than a dozen other legendary wizards, but without the Survivor of the Vast Sea or Rowling.
The Survivor of the Vast Sea stays vigilant over Nora’s Core.
Rowling and the Beast Master Civilization continue their journey here.
Thus, Nora’s forces include precisely 26 Level 10 powerhouses, neither more nor fewer.
The gray portal vanishes, unveiling the form of Wagner Wizard.
At this sight, the Lost Monarch’s face shows a faint alteration.
Based on their collected reports, this individual isn't part of the Nora Wizard Council.
This detail puts it on edge, for as a Nightmare Monarch, its senses are sharp. Often, a seemingly minor level-1 figure can spell disaster.
Yet, with five level-10 advanced-stage experts present, it pushes down these concerns and turns to Edmund with a grin:
"Is the Nora Council planning to dive straight into a fight to the death with us?"
Edmund replies:
"Pleased to meet you, Lost Monarch. In my role as Grand Council Chairman, I must express special gratitude for nurturing such a fine legendary wizard for us—Daydreamer."
Edmund deliberately prods at a painful point, stirring rage inside the Lost Monarch, who forces a smile: "Save your thanks; today, I’ve come to take it back."
The Arrogance Demon Lord, growing restless, heaves the enormous mountain off its shoulders. "So, you must be Edmund? I’ve arrived to test your abilities today."
As the embodiment of Arrogance, it scorns all below Level 11!
It hurls the massive mountain ahead, shredding the emptiness in its path, aiming straight for Edmund’s head, whose crimson robes flutter as he raises his hand.
A massive sun bursts forth to halt the mountain’s advance.
Boom! The mountain rebounds, glowing with intense heat.
A subtle shift crosses the Arrogance Demon Lord’s features as it glances at the Lost Monarch. "Commander, make your move."
The Lost Monarch detects something off and realizes that Wagner Wizard, who had just shown up, has vanished without a trace.
At the same instant.
Deep within the dark side’s heart.
Owens, the embodiment of the dark side’s will, occupies this spot.
He regards Wagner and states:
"Friend, don’t forget to pass on my farewells to Levi."
Wagner gives a grave nod and responds:
"Owens, your essence won’t fade away. I’ll carry forward your eternal dark side will. Using the Nora Dark Side as my base, I’ll collect the scattered dark side shards throughout the cosmos and summon back the lost Ashen Kings.
I’ll also perfect and share the Gray Swordsman’s path of cultivation with all future dark-side inhabitants. When that era arrives, no more Fallen will arise, all Nightmare Power will be expelled, and your spirit will awaken anew... Windmill Village will stand eternal."
Owens thinks back to the endless years of awaiting Levi’s arrival in Windmill Village, and a satisfied smile graces his face. "Unyielding Silver Seat, Owens, says goodbye for now."
He gestures to the surroundings and steps into the shadow ahead.
His outline merges with Wagner’s, and in a flash, an unfathomable, horrifying presence surges through the whole Nora Dark Side, as Wagner turns into a streak of radiance blasting toward the heavens.
The scale of Nora dictates the scale of its dark side.
And right then, he witnesses the entire Nora Dark Side stir, like a colossal Earth Dragon turning over, heaving up seas, ripping open layers of rock, slowly uncovering a enormous visage matching the dark side’s vastness, bearing Wagner’s own features.
The solitary marching shadow, ruler of Nora’s dark side!
Wagner isn’t the Shadow School of Thought’s initial legendary wizard, yet he could well be its most remarkable, forging a demiplane from the Nora Dark Side!
Endless peaks and waterways fall wholly under his command!
Unfathomable might courses through Wagner.
His mind feels on the verge of shattering, bombarded by infinite streams of data from Nora’s dark side pouring endlessly into his awareness, sufficient to crush even a legendary wizard’s mental power. Yet he stands firm.
He has endured millennia of isolation with mere human resilience.
No one’s determination surpasses his!
From behind him rises a dark silhouette towering thousands of miles, radiating a presence that makes the assembled legendary wizards and Monarchs all react with faint unease.
This marks the return of Lord Victor’s former legendary wizard guise, Shadow Watcher.
