Wizard: Starting With the Knights Breathing Method Chapter 2832: 578: The Descent of the Circle, Sailing Far Afield!

Previously on Wizard: Starting With the Knights Breathing Method...
Levi acquires the heavy Earth Mother Qi and places it within the Ancient Banyan Fairyland, where it sinks to the earth's core, benefiting Mana's growth and providing rapid healing for injuries. Mana expresses delight at the gift, though Levi warns it may not always be hers to refine. Continuing his exploration of the temple, Levi discovers a pure white dress and a note from Sauron revealing details about the Earth's Holy Mother Meisha, her divine affairs, and the extraction of the fateful Mortal Circle from her conceived divine son, alongside the stolen wisp of Earth Mother Qi.

The Easter egg concludes suddenly right here.

Levi reflected that the [Mortal Circle] appears in Sauron's leftover [Illustrated Guide of Strange Items] too. Yet it merely skimmed over its connections to vague fate and the streams of causality, so Levi hadn't given it much mind before.

Upon closer inspection now, this [Mortal Circle] proves remarkably potent.

Whoever brushes against the ring's bearer gets ensnared by the slippery [Power of Destiny]. Regardless of how fiercely the selected person fights back, through endless weaving paths, they'll inevitably end up drawn toward the ring's possessor.

It's reminiscent of that past-life film "Death Comes," where the story unfolded without any horrifying beasts or malevolent ghosts. Still, those marked by "Death" kept sparking one mishap after another by accident, leading straight to their doom!

Such incredible might!

Levi felt profoundly stunned.

Furthermore, based on Sauron's wording, until someone attains the ultimate Level 11, escaping this Power of Destiny remains impossible. At best, greater strength means improved luck and extended survival across chapters, whereas those with ordinary might won't last past three chapters!

Naturally, the [Mortal Circle]'s Power of Destiny acts as just one choice, a kind of "anchor" forced upon people who cross paths with the ring's holder. Thus, foes or allies alike get selected.

In theory, provided one endures long enough, every picked person who's ever crossed the ring owner's existence will, amid the endless crowds and infinite cosmos, stumble into an unforeseen clash with the owner... This forms destiny's unbreakable cycle!

"Could this be the might of the Primordial Spirit? Those beings, emerging post-Big Bang, resemble the three thousand deities and fiends from the Heaven and Earth creation legend of a previous life—existences that naturally carry the Dao and cosmic laws."

These days, after surviving countless eras, only a handful of Primordial Spirits linger. They've transformed into key elements of the Land of Darkness. Two dwell in the astral realm, one in the Abyss, one in the Nightmare domain, and one in the Underworld.

The rest of the Primordial Spirits fell during the brutal clashes in the Land of Darkness, slain by their own or by mysterious calamities. All that's left behind are artifacts like the [Mortal Circle]. Wizards label them [Innate Artifacts], innate treasures that can naturally ascend to Level 10 and claim a legendary vocation.

These Innate Artifacts aid wizards in their progression, and they're likely valuable to other mighty figures, divine beings, demons, and similar powers. The inhabitants of the Four Great Giants' realms must be covertly gathering such valuables too.

[Earth Mother Qi] likely stems from a [Primordial Spirit] remnant as well, though its caliber falls short, and Sauron skipped expanding on it in the Easter egg, opting to highlight the [Mortal Circle] instead.

"The astral world truly holds an abundance of treasures."

The earlier [Primordial Spark] came from the Eternal Fire too, a relic hinting at a Level 11 supreme item, another trace of a Primordial Spirit.

Sauron drifts casually through the Multidimensional Plane, yet he's methodically amassing diverse Heavenly Materials, Earthly Treasures, and Primordial Relics to fuel his eventual comeback strategy. Since the Giants all sprang from Primordial Origins, he'll counter Primordials with Primordials!

Regrettably, mortal limits and outside interferences mean Sauron appears to be short on time, leaving many Primordial Relics dispersed throughout the cosmos.

But as he noted, perfection stays out of reach; for now, one must strive fully and entrust the unfinished parts to descendants for gradual fulfillment.

All at once, a question struck Levi.

"The divine son Sauron referenced in the Easter egg must be the one devoured by the Snake of the End... Thus, the feud between this serpent and the Father and Holy Mother isn't random. It ties back to the divine son's [Mortal Circle] property. After all, the Snake of the End essentially serves as another Primordial Relic type, the vessel for the [Eternal Ring]. These two rings were fated to collide. Plus, the Eternal Ring's power probably matches the Snake of the End lineage's hallmark ability: forecasting future paths via endless simulations."

As a result, the Snake of the End aligning with the Nora Council wasn't happenstance either, with Sauron's hidden maneuvers stirring the currents.

This counts as another legacy Sauron bequeathed to Nora!

And evidently, Levi ranks among Sauron's array of contingencies. Evidence lies in the Dark Ancient Tower or Sauron's Four Treasures alike.

Moreover, the one clashing with the Snake of the End turned out to be Levi himself!

In that instant, Levi sensed he grasped something deep inside.

Once assured no further valuables hid in the temple, Levi eyed the white gauze gown radiating a feminine aroma, paused briefly, then claimed it and sealed it securely.

This item holds little practical value; he simply aims to wield this gown if he ever faces the Holy Mother, evoking certain "memories of a wife's old misdeeds." Perhaps it might pierce her defenses, smoothing his path to overcoming her.

"Squeak, squeak, squeak."

Jin's chirps yanked Levi's mind back to the present.

"Time to head out, mighty one—I proclaim you've triumphed over the Hound."

Levi commended Jin, delighting the creature immensely.

Over the following days, Levi roamed the ancient tower freely, reaping a wind-element holy herb called the [Wind Wing Fruit], which brought an extra delight.
