Wizard: Starting With the Knights Breathing Method Chapter 2827: 577: Earth Mother Qi and Mortal Circle!

Previously on Wizard: Starting With the Knights Breathing Method...
Levi continues to hold Ritter captive to serve as a guide for a future expedition to the Nelarayan civilization, driven by a growing urgency to reach the realm before the Abyss consumes it. Through Ritter, Levi has gained a deeper understanding of the Beast Tamer path, noting its superior flexibility in lifebound contracts compared to the rigid School of Spiritualism. He plans to propose a diplomatic mission to the Supreme Council to handle the powerful Nelarayan leaders, while simultaneously plotting the destruction of the aggressive Golden Sacred Realm to harvest its Truth Oddities. Amidst these strategic maneuvers, Levi learns of the Mountain and Sea Secret Realm, a massive repository of resources and legendary creatures left behind by an ancient Level 10 powerhouse.

Currently, one-third of the 24 Heavenly Kings found their destinies within the secret realm, while the remaining two-thirds achieved their status through the backing of powerful families or risky ventures across the Multidimensional Plane.

Ritter is another individual blessed by fate. Upon reaching rank five, he ventured into the secret realm and successfully captured a young [Purple Lightning Heart Ape], a legendary creature, in a single attempt.

From that point on, his progress was unstoppable. He has already reached the peak of level 8 and is considered a prime contender to become the 25th Heavenly King.

Should he reach the rank of Legendary Beastmaster, his third life position will finally be unlocked.

At that stage, he can begin the search for his own mythical creature. However, most Legendary Beastmasters settle for another legendary creature instead.

This is because mythical creatures are exceptionally scarce. Given the typical lifespan of a Beastmaster, the probability of finding a youngling is nearly nonexistent, let alone successfully taming it.

Nevertheless, the concept of the three life positions remains a brilliant, genius-level innovation.

In the past, Wizards focused almost entirely on self-cultivation, dedicating their studies to Earth, Fire, Wind, and Water. Consequently, the path of utilizing external objects remained largely ignored.

However, in this current era, the worsening conditions of the Multidimensional Plane make the development of diverse systems and paths an absolute necessity.

If this integration proves successful, the School of Spiritualism and the School of Insects could experience a massive evolution, finally rising above the status of minor schools.

With the precedent set by Vicken, Levi—who originally had no interest in spying on the previous lives of reincarnated souls—tasked Leon with investigating [Nelarayan].

This person was not a Legendary Wizard and was theoretically unable to undergo reincarnation or re-cultivation. The investigation revealed that in this current life, Nelarayan was simply an ordinary mortal with no extraordinary qualities. Yet, the civilization he established has flourished and survived to this day. In a sense, his spirit achieves eternal life through his legacy.

Long ago, Sauron fell and his followers were scattered. Now that countless years have passed, how many of those traces still remain?

During his journey, Levi provided the names of several former allies he could still recall to the round table, ordering Leon to track them all down.

The findings regarding their reincarnations were disappointing. Without a lasting civilization to carry their torch, their unique paths had vanished into the sands of time. One wonders if Sauron had prepared any secret backup plans.

Sauron views the Multidimensional Plane as a grand chessboard and Nora as a vital piece. He intends to gather his old allies and those who failed in the past to strike a massive blow against the Four Great Giants that have dominated for ancient epochs.

"If destiny permits, the companions will one day resurface in Nora in various forms; this is our only shot."

Levi pondered these thoughts while he continued his search for treasure.

...

Six months passed.

The Gold Seeking Hound came to a halt, its nose twitching as it meticulously sniffed for any hidden veins of rare metal ore.

Standing nearby, Jin appeared visibly anxious.

Could this brat have discovered another treasure? In just half a year, under the hound's guidance, Levi had already uncovered 165 Truth Oddities!

It wasn't enough! It wasn't nearly enough!

Such a pitiful amount of oddities would never satisfy the master!

His expression remained cold, without even a trace of a smile on his lips.

Out of those 165 oddities, 23 were Morning Star-level, 5 were Bright Moon-level, and one reached the Glorious Sun-Grade. One-third of the haul consisted of Sequence Artifacts.

While Levi, the Gondor Three Heroes, and Elena had no use for them, the new generation of talent within the organization was growing. Storing these oddities in the treasury would provide much-needed resources for the "supernovas" like Aya and Link.

The Sun-level artifact was a non-Sequence Metal Faction item called the [Bronze Holy Seat], which possessed excellent properties. Lord Victor is currently an Eighth Ring Senior and is approaching Eight Ring Perfection. Refining this particular oddity should provide the boost needed for his breakthrough.

The Energy Sect prioritizes the cultivation of the mind. Having reached level 8, Lord Victor’s mental fortitude is incredibly resilient, so there is little risk of his spiritual force becoming unstable.

Beyond the oddities, the other collected items were mostly rare creatures and plants, though none were of the legendary grade and thus weren't particularly noteworthy.

In truth, Levi was quite satisfied with these results, but he maintained a stoic facade to keep Jin motivated and ensure the treasure hunting remained efficient.

"Woof, woof, woof!"

The Gold Seeking Hound suddenly began to bark loudly.

Levi’s eyes sharpened; this had to be something significant.

He followed the hound into a deep pit. Along the descent, he encountered numerous veins of light pink earth elemental metal, all of which were below level 6. He uprooted the entire veins, transplanting them into the Cave Heaven Blessed Land within the Ancient Banyan Fairyland to allow them to continue developing.

After an unknown amount of time traveling through the subterranean tunnels, the cramped passage suddenly expanded into a vast, open space. Before him stood a colossal, withered tree reaching ninety thousand feet into the air, standing in eerie silence.

The ground was covered in layers of light pink rock. The hound circled Levi with excitement, signaling that this was its great find.

"This is a type of earth elemental metal above level 6. Such a massive deposit is a true jackpot. I've never encountered this specific metal before; it's quite peculiar."

Levi frowned, speculating that the ore might have been formed from the death of the giant tree, created by eons of accumulated fallen branches and leaves. This was a common origin for elemental metals, much like how coal formed in his previous world.

He walked to the trunk of the massive tree and touched its rough bark. A faint aroma, reminiscent of cherry blossoms from his past life, wafted through the air. At that thought, he summoned Mana, who had been busy playing mahjong, and asked:

"Is this a divine tree?"

Mana, who had been focused on her game, suddenly caught sight of the towering tree. Her pupils contracted, and she stared at it with a vacant, murmuring expression:
