Wizard: Starting With the Knights Breathing Method Chapter 2821: 576: The Collector of Oddities, Author Who Seals All Demons!

Previously on Wizard: Starting With the Knights Breathing Method...
In the Ninth Layer of Hell, the battle against the Abyssal Lords reaches a turning point as the Gluttonous Demon King abandons his ally and flees into the void. Left behind and trapped by the sealing powers of the Legendary Wizard Gargamel, the Poison Smoke Lady faces the combined might of the Death Knight and Levi. Gargamel unleashes the power of the Sealing Demon Book Master, utilizing his legendary wizard tool to suppress the demon’s toxic mist form. As Levi pushes his Chaos Dragon and Holy Realm powers to their limit, the trio focuses their assault to weaken the Poison Smoke Lady for a final containment spell.

"Stop forcing my hand!"

Trapped by the trio, the Poison Smoke Lady was desperately stalling for reinforcements. Her ethereal form began to contract, eventually reshaping into a colossal green star. Its surface was marred by pockmarks resembling goosebumps, continuously secreting toxic fluids and emerald vapors.

She intended to self-destruct!

The veteran Death Knight immediately activated the Overlord Secret Skill: Chaotic Sky. He executed a sword technique that warped the very fabric of space-time, freezing the Poison Flame Lady in her tracks for a brief interval.

In that same moment, Gargamel’s legendary spell reached completion.

A massive golden character manifested instantly within the ancient tome. Levi’s eyes narrowed as he recognized it—it was the Chinese character: [Seal]!

He realized this was a character Sauron had transmitted to Gargamel via a letter. Far from a mere symbol, it represented a synthesis of Sauron's profound wisdom and power, a specialized boon granted to wizards ascending to the Legendary rank to defend Nora.

Levi recalled seeing the 'Dragon' character used by the Dragon Flame God Witch and the 'Phoenix' character wielded by the Blazing Star God Witch. Now, he witnessed the 'Seal' character. He wondered if Sauron would bestow a unique character upon him as well, should he reach the Legendary realm.

Legendary Magic—Gargamel’s Great Sealing Magic!

Golden chains erupted from the ancient book like a divine retribution, each one impaling the green, star-like entity.

With a grim expression, Gargamel chanted his incantations. A torrential sea of spell power flooded the chains, causing them to proliferate wildly until they seemed capable of binding an entire world. Ultimately, the golden star formed by the interwoven chains slammed into the ground. Every single link was etched with arcane sealing rune inscriptions.

The muffled curses of the Poison Smoke Lady echoed faintly. Any wisps of emerald poison gas that managed to leak out were instantly vaporized by the runes on the chains.

Simultaneously, the green toxins clinging to Levi’s Blood Battle Armor vanished entirely, leaving him deeply shaken. This technique had fundamentally suppressed the Poison Smoke Lady; regardless of her hidden talents, resurrection was now impossible. Gargamel’s power was truly formidable!

Levi reflected that if the demons possessed such absolute sealing methods, he would be in grave danger. He resolved to remain extremely vigilant.

For Gargamel, a newly ascended legendary wizard, the exertion of casting such a spell to bind a demon was immense. His face was ghostly pale as he quickly entered a meditative state to recover. After consuming a restoration potion, he let out a sigh of relief.

"The danger has passed," he said. "I will keep it contained for now. We should find a secure location to finish it off and eliminate any future risks."

The Death Knight responded:

"Hell is currently in total chaos. You two should return to Nora to deal with this demon. My thanks to you for aiding the Hell Battlefield."

Gargamel replied:

"This demon was captured through our combined efforts, and your contribution was the greatest. A level-10 demon is a treasure trove; you should accompany us."

The Death Knight shook his head in refusal.

"I have no need for it. Your assistance in the demon hunt is reward enough; I ask for nothing more."

Levi added, "Thank you, Death Knight, for coming to my aid."

Had this level-10 undead warrior not intervened, Levi feared he would still be struggling to escape the pursuit of two demons. Now, he had not only survived but helped take one down. Even though it wasn't a solo victory, the sense of achievement was profound.

The Death Knight’s only remaining wish was to survive the Hell Blood Battle and eventually reincarnate to begin his Cultivation anew. If he could mentor a level-10 successor among Hell’s 72 Pillars before then, it would be ideal.

Having spent this life as an undead, he felt a lingering bond with the race. He hoped for at least one level-10 protector; otherwise, once the war ended, the undead would be so marginalized by the devils that they would lose all 'ghost rights' and face extinction.

After saying their goodbyes, Levi and Gargamel recited the necessary spells. The Gate of Hell slowly materialized, allowing them to return to Nora and fly directly toward the Sorren Continent.

Since this was Gargamel’s first time sealing a level-10 demon, he was wary of any complications during the refinement process. On the Sorren Continent, the Grand Council Chairman could handle any emergencies.

Sensing the arrival of a new legendary aura, several legendary figures descended from the sky to greet them. President Edmund greeted them with an irrepressible smile.

"Excellent, truly excellent! Gargamel, you have finally reached the legendary rank."

Gargamel chuckled:

"I must thank you, Grand Council Chairman, for saving me. I believe I’ve met your expectations; if I hadn't reached the legendary level, your sacrifice in taking that curse would have been in vain."

"It was no trouble at all. Being legendary is a wonderful thing... truly wonderful..."

Edmund whispered to himself. Every new legendary wizard lightened his own burden. Furthermore, he was confident that Gargamel’s unique skills would allow him to excel in the coming Blood Battle, likely contributing far more than a standard legendary wizard.

"My congratulations, Gargamel!"

"Well done, congratulations."

Gullwig, the Lady of Thunder, and the others arrived one by one to offer their praise.

"Hahaha! I remember you, Gargamel. You started in the Death Sect. Even if you moved into Sealing Science later, calling you a Death Wizard is still accurate."

The Hand of Netherworld Prison appeared the most delighted.

Historically, the School of Death rarely had more than one legendary figure at a time. This was the first time they boasted two legendary wizards simultaneously. From this point on, the Death Sect would surely experience a golden age, standing toe-to-toe with the four major factions. Such healthy rivalry between schools was the engine of progress for wizard civilization.

Gargamel laughed heartily:

"Indeed, I still consider myself a member of the Death Sect."

In truth, such rigid school divisions mostly applied to those below the ninth-circle.

Upon reaching the status of Grand Wizard, many practitioners began to study broadly across disciplines, eventually specializing in a unique variation to achieve their legendary breakthrough.
