Wizard: Starting With the Knights Breathing Method Chapter 2773: 568: Edmund’s True Form, Supreme Twenty-Four Seats!

Previously on Wizard: Starting With the Knights Breathing Method...
A month into the war, the Earth Demon Lord struggles against the Supreme Council, while other powerful beings clash across various battlefields. Severely wounded by the Sun Compass, the Earth Demon Lord attempts to retreat but is confronted by Edmund, who unleashes the Demiplane Blazing Universe. After a destructive collision between their attacks, Edmund reveals his true form: a colossal being of fire and spiritual force, intent on defeating the Earth Demon Lord.

Driven by the intent to slaughter as many foes as possible, Edmund knew he had to push his limits. Even if unsealing the True Sun carried the risk of unforeseen costs and dire consequences to his own being, it was his only remaining option!

A look of pure terror washed over the Earth Demon Lord’s face as a long-forgotten sense of hopelessness gripped its heart. Throughout its eternal existence, it had never encountered such a feeling... After all, during Sauron's previous rampage through the Abyss, the demon had been away on a task rather than in its own domain.

The surface of its colossal true form, stretching across tens of thousands of miles, was riddled with scars resembling lunar craters. These were lingering wounds dealt to Edmund by formidable rivals, injuries that proved nearly impossible to mend.

Boom!

The palm of the True Sun struck downward—a hand of divine, blazing golden fire that seemed to flatten the very Universe. Miracles and strange phenomena erupted as the silhouettes of the Golden Crow, Phoenix, and Fire Dragon swirled within the inferno, turning the night of Nora into a brilliant day!

Across the various theaters of war, both demons and wizards halted their carnage, sensing the catastrophic disturbance emanating from Edmund’s location.

"Could that be... the Grand Council Chairman?"

Lady Rowling spoke, her voice laced with astonishment.

"Is Lord Edmund undergoing ascension?"

The Blue Dream Star Lord asked, a hint of anxiety in his tone.

Even the Nine Death Swordsman bore a grave expression. He had assumed Edmund had exhausted his strength during the prior mission to save the Heavenly Will... It was now clear he had been holding back. This level of power likely placed him with one foot into Level 11, making him an equal to the entities residing just before the 666th layer of the Abyss.

The Heavenly Will was also shaken. It had always estimated that Edmund’s Cultivation was roughly equal to its own prime, but it now realized it had been arrogant. Its peak state was far beneath the power Edmund was currently displaying.

It was no wonder this man possessed such absolute certainty regarding the merger of the Heavenly World and Nora. He was perhaps the closest thing to the legendary Sauron, undoubtedly the second most powerful figure since the dawn of the wizard civilization. Within the entire Pan-Plane, he was likely surpassed only by the enigmatic and long-missing Fire Sovereign.

However, through the eyes of the Heavenly Will, Edmund reaching this realm was not necessarily a blessing. The closer one drew to Level 11, the greater the misfortune that followed... particularly for someone like Edmund, who was already caught in the schemes of the Giant World.

"Edmund! Control yourself!"

The Heavenly Will sent a telepathic warning to the scarlet figure, praying he would remain unharmed. Sacrificing himself to destroy the enemy would still result in Nora's downfall. The barbarian tribes and the wizards were bound by a shared destiny of survival.

Meanwhile, the Wind Demon, Lady of Desire, Shadow Demon Queen, and other demonic elites used every trick available to retreat from the battlefield. None dared to assist the Earth Demon Lord. They believed Edmund had triggered some ascension technique, incinerating his Vitality Life Span to gain temporary power. Once he was spent, they could win this Blood Battle without further struggle!

Despair consumed the Earth Demon Lord. It regretted joining this conflict; it finally understood why the ancient horrors at the bottom of the Abyss had remained hidden.

It ignited its Demon Body to intercept the titan-sized hand. In the collision of earth and fire, the flames proved superior, shattering and liquefying the Earth Demon Lord’s physical form.

Its potent Demon Soul tore itself free in an attempt to flee, but Edmund’s massive hand snatched it. Enveloped in crimson fire, the soul was reduced to a pile of cinders. The Mother River had been waiting; its dark waters swept the Earth Demon Lord’s true soul away while the King of the Underworld manifested chains in his palm to bind it securely.

"No! No! Chaos Servant Lord... deliver me!"

The Earth Demon Lord’s shrill, agonizing screams rang through the Land of Darkness.

It was filled with bitter resentment. It was the strongest and the most recent arrival to the front lines... yet it was the first to fall.

Edmund clearly possessed the strength to kill the Wind Demon Lords earlier but had waited specifically for it to arrive!

What a hateful trick!

In a dimension beyond description, the Specter of the Chaotic Servant watched the Earth Demon Lord’s struggle without moving. Across the vast Mother River, the Netherworld Ancestor stood with sword drawn, watching coldly and ready to intercept any interference.

Thus, Valerid, the ruler of the 653rd Abyssal layer and one of the Four Great Demon Lords, was struck down like a lightning bolt by the Legendary Wizard Edmund. The "Arcane Terminator" had ensured the demon met its end.

Since ancient times, no lord past the 600th layer had suffered a true Death... the Earth Demon Lord was merely the first, but certainly not the last.

The chaos of the battlefield slowly subsided.

As the fiery radiance dimmed, the other elites of the Supreme Council stared at the scarlet figure, paralyzed by awe and hesitating to draw near.

"Grand Council Chairman?"

"Lord Edmund?"

The scarlet aura slowly evaporated, revealing Edmund in his original form.

"I am still here... let us return."

Throughout Nora, the Heavens, Pandora, the New World, and the Land of the Four Seas, countless wizards and warriors on various battlefields looked toward the crimson-stained crystal wall.

They felt a mix of shock, confusion, and hope. Years of brutal warfare had taught them that such massive disturbances were always the work of the Grand Council Chairman, though never before had his light been so brilliant. Was it possible that the Grand Council Chairman had attained Level 11?

If so, Nora still had a chance!

On the Sorren Continent, the Dragon Flame God sat cross-legged atop the Tower of Heaven. He looked exhausted, and the Endless Fire Nest Demiplane behind him had lost its luster. However, after a month of relentless slaughter, the Nora Council had finally stabilized the front. He needed only to rest; the immediate danger had passed.
