Rein arrives in the Hammerfall Mountains searching for Graham but initially finds no trace. After considering Graham's likely summoning ritual and investigating various spider habitats, Rein deduces Graham might be near a lava area. He discovers Graham in a molten spider nest beneath the Hammerfall Tunnel, preparing a ritual on a large altar with captured fierce species.

"...Even though we have managed to slay a rare, epic Magma Giant, we are still a considerable distance away from summoning His Majesty Nael Breccan... At least two more are required to complete the summoning ritual."

Graham's gaze fell upon the immense corpse of the Magma Giant situated at the heart of the altar, his expression failing to betray enthusiasm.

"Damn it all! If it weren't for that Rein fellow last time, I would have already achieved success!"

"Now, where in this desolate land can we possibly find sacrifices of epic level?"

"However, if we are to slowly await the Spider Spirit to fulfill the requirements, it would take at the very least several more years."

...

Witnessing this scene, Rein found himself lost in thought.

Ever since his last confrontation with Nael Breccan, Rein had dedicated himself to studying pertinent information.

'Compared to the "Blood Sacrifice Summon," the "Spider Spirit Summon" demands significantly fewer requirements, reducing the necessity for intelligent sacrifices and instead calling for a high-caliber spider to serve as a vessel.'

This time, his objective was to achieve the final stage of his ascension by vanquishing the manifestation of the Evil God Nael Breccan, not merely to eliminate Graham.

For Rein, the act of simply killing Graham held virtually no significance.

What proved most intriguing at this juncture was that Graham himself was engaged in the same pursuit—the summoning of the Evil God Nael Breccan!

This implied that if he desired to expedite his ascension, lending assistance would be the most advantageous course of action.

"This... Could it be that I am actually tasked with aiding Graham in completing the summoning?"

Rein's countenance couldn't help but adopt a peculiar hue.

Although he had encountered the phrase 'aiding the enemy' before, this appeared to be his inaugural formal experience in doing so.

"To ensure the recipient readily accepts a 'convenient windfall' without raising undue suspicion, the most effective method is to orchestrate it as a mere coincidence."

"The surrounding territory is entirely composed of lava regions... perhaps, we could locate two epic-level magma creatures of opposing factions... and subsequently..."

A brilliant idea sparked in Rein's eyes, and a smile immediately bloomed on his face.

"It won't be straightforward, but it must be accomplished!"

In the following instant, Rein vanished from his original position.

Even with his mastery of subspace teleportation and power reaching the zenith of the full moon stage, locating two such suitable magma creatures presented an exceptionally arduous task for Rein.

Rein's form flickered as he traversed the labyrinthine subterranean rivers of lava.

"Ah, here lies an epic Magma Hellhound in slumber."

Abruptly, Rein detected a colossal, dark-red beast, distinguished by its three ferocious heads, within a subterranean lava lake situated hundreds of kilometers distant from the Molten Spider Altar.

It was a Magma Hellhound of legendary status, possessing the mutated bloodline of a three-headed hellhound.

"However, this is still insufficient... we require one more opposing creature..."

Imprinting the location within his memory with a sense of delight, Rein continued his swift search along the underground lava channels.

...

Half an hour elapsed.

Rein finally discovered another epic-level creature.

"Hmm? Another epic Magma Hellhound?"

Rein felt a touch of speechlessness, having hoped it would have been a Magma Giant or an Ancient Fire Demon, creatures that would naturally be antagonists to the Magma Hellhound. A subsequent epic clash between them, resulting in their mutual demise, would have been a highly plausible scenario.

"This..."

The pairing of two Magma Hellhounds left Rein in a state of indecision.

Suddenly, at this precise moment, the Communication Mark emblazoned upon Rein's chest began to illuminate!

"Lord of the Steel Throne, a perturbation has originated from the Fiend Demon at the Cologne Cathedral and is once again spreading outwards, seemingly in preparation for further assaults," Olena's voice, tinged with anxiety, transmitted as Rein activated the mark.

Hmm?

Rein narrowed his eyes and promptly responded, "Understood, I shall return immediately."

After a brief period of deliberation, Rein resolved to simply proceed with the two Magma Hellhounds!

"After all, canine species are known to engage in infighting."

Rein's form flickered as he materialized above the Magma Lake, and a colossal hand fashioned from dark silver metal materialized from the ether, plunging into the molten depths to seize the slumbering Magma Hellhound by its neck.

"Woo woo~"

Initially intending to let out a roar, the Magma Hellhound recoiled with a shiver the instant it perceived Rein's formidable power level.

At the peak of the full moon stage, Rein represented an existence nearly unparalleled in the Magma Hellhound's perception.

With two further adjustments, Rein secured the two Magma Hellhounds and executed a teleportation back to their prior location, employing another dark silver metal hand to extract the first Magma Hellhound.

Subsequently, Rein meticulously examined the paw structures and mandible formations of both Magma Hellhounds before swiftly dispatching them.

Thereafter, he rapidly conjured multiple pairs of metal claws, fabricating apparent injuries upon the bodies of both Magma Hellhounds.

Having meticulously completed these preparations, Rein cast the carcasses of the Magma Hellhounds into a Magma Lake situated in close proximity to the Molten Spider Nest and unleashed a fire witchcraft spell to instigate energy fluctuations.

With the approaching magma spiders and the discovered remains of the Magma Hellhounds, Rein gave a nod of approval. Then, he departed the Hammerfall Mountains, his form a blur as he continued to move. ... Returning to the skies above Tamriel, the Imperial City, Rein observed a malevolent Fiend Demon, several hundred meters tall, materializing directly above the Cologne Cathedral. Swirling around this monstrous entity were corrupted birds, Griffin Knights, and even seven or eight colossal Dragons, their bodies wreathed in sinister qi. They circled the Fiend Demon, poised as if for an imminent assault. On the opposing side of the heavens, the combined forces of the Empire and the Federation stood at a tense readiness. Under the command of the Red Queen Menia, the Imperial Guardians, along with elite Flying Knights and a multitude of Griffin Knights, were present. They were accompanied by dozens of immense Armed Airships from the Federation, their assembled presence stretching across the sky for tens of miles.
