Rein confirmed with Archbishop Mills that the Goddess's divine artifact against the Fiend Demon is another secondary key to the Time Key, distinct from his own ancient one. Clues to its location lie within the Evil Qi-ravaged Cologne Cathedral's secret archives. Rein vanished into the cathedral alone via Shadow Shifting to retrieve them, astonishing the Imperial powerhouses. Meanwhile, the Federation pledged supplies and Floating City restoration aid, mysteriously hailing Rein as Lord of the Steel Throne.

"Impossible! Wait, does this mean... Rein, Your Grace, has reached Full Moon Wizard?" Elder Ivan's eyes bulged wide in an instant, his voice bursting with shock.

"Ah, so that's the reason..."

Reginald jerked his gaze upward toward the place where Rein's form had vanished, comprehension dawning on him—no surprise Rein brimmed with such assurance.

Everyone knew His Majesty Carlos II had met ultimate failure in the end.

Not a soul anticipated Rein achieving the breakthrough in such utter quiet.

Only attaining Full Moon Wizard allows defiance against the terrifying might of the Fiend Demon.

Full Moon Wizard?! A demigod?!

Lagaray softly squeezed the arm of Jennifer, the lovely lady still faintly frail after her recovery, then grinned and remarked: "Looks like us two fretted needlessly."

Rein's form materialized once more, right at the majestic gateway of Cologne Cathedral.

"Evil Qi blankets this zone, hindering even Shadow Shifting. Luckily, its density remains low, keeping the disturbance minimal."

The Temple Guards, corrupted by the pervasive Evil Qi around them, spotted the abrupt intruder Rein at once. These grotesquely warped sentinels charged straight at him.

Yet outpacing the Temple Guards surged thick clusters of black-grey tendrils bursting from the earth everywhere.

"Swish! Swish! Swish!"

Dozens of those seven-to-eight-meter black-grey tendrils whipped at Rein with lightning speed.

Rein paid no heed to such strikes, of course.

In a mere flicker, he vanished anew, plunging into the Cologne Cathedral's inner sanctum thick with denser Evil Qi.

"Here we are."

With his spiritual power already pinpointing the transit point earlier, Rein strode forward and landed in the subterranean secret archive chamber.

The Fiend Demon's seal shattering had nullified the nearby binding Witch Arrays, letting Rein slip in directly and sparing precious moments.

The secret archive chamber lay in total chaos before his eyes. Whether frantic evacuation during the crisis or spillover blasts from clashing with the Fiend Demon caused it remained unknown.

Right then, priceless old sheepskin scrolls, dusty tomes, and heaps of documents littered the fractured floors, toppled shelves, and wrecked furniture throughout the secret archive room.

"All ruined?"

"Or relocated somewhere?"

Rein scanned the chamber thoroughly yet spotted no trace of the silver box.

After a brief ponder, he deployed his spiritual power to probe the area meticulously.

"Sssh!"

Right then, a razor-sharp black tendril shot out from the shadowy black-grey Evil Qi-seeping wall, lunging at Rein.

"Spotted me already?"

"Bang!"

Suddenly, a metallic Kite Shield materialized before Rein, halting the piercing black tendril cold.

Yet that deflection acted like igniting a flare in pitch black, drawing the foe's onslaught right to him.

Without delay, innumerable razor black tendrils exploded from every wall like a downpour, hammering at Rein.

Simultaneously.

A whirling orb of dark silver metal shield enveloped Rein's frame, repelling every single assault.

"Got it."

Joy flashed across Rein's features in a heartbeat, and he blinked out of sight.

His silhouette rematerialized in the overhead passageway, amid a silver metal box and assorted crates dumped haphazardly along the hallway.

The disarray suggested Goddess Church folk had scrambled to haul these confidential items away, only for the Fiend Demon's eruption to strike too swift, sparking mayhem that left supplies and documents forsaken.

Rein dashed ahead without pause, snatched the box, and readied his departure.

Just then, black-grey Evil Qi tendrils, sticky as a plague, welled up from walls and ground all sides, coiling around him once more.

"Such a nuisance."

"Very well then, it's only fair to strike back." Rein's gaze sharpened fiercely, and in the next instant, he hovered high above Cologne Cathedral's exterior.

A slender metal thread linked to the silver box kept it hovering effortlessly aloft.

Rein drew forth the final blood-red Divine Fragment from his chest, pulverized it, and within moments, his Spiritual Fission Value leaped from 37% to 49%.

Feeling the swelling spiritual power intensify, Rein squinted downward, intoned his incantation, then thrust his arm high before slashing it down with brutal force!

From his right palm burst a hundred-meter, high-vibration dark silver chainsaw-like energy blade, cleaving downward onto Cologne Cathedral's dual towers and burrowing far into the earth!

It was exactly the metal element Full Moon Killing Move 'High-Frequency Blade' that Rein had freshly mastered!

"Screech!!!"

The cutting noise wasn't intense, yet it burrowed profoundly.

"Roar!!!"

Right away, a furious bellow thundered from below!

This bellow shook the whole Imperial City Tamriel, as gigantic black tendrils dissolved into black mist simultaneously.

Fleeing civilians and battling warriors alike whipped their heads to gaze. Even those in camps thousands of meters distant caught this savage, grudge-laden, inhuman howl.

Aerial view over the Imperial City revealed the dome-like dark grey Evil Qi—swelling endlessly from the Cologne Cathedral core—suddenly shrinking. Spanning several kilometers across, it pulled back by nearly half before pausing.

At the same time, dozens of barrel-thick black tendrils raged wildly in counterstrike above the Cologne Cathedral.

Yet Rein had vanished long before.
