Wizard starting from shoeing donkeys Chapter 1571 - 542: Empire Treasury
Previously on Wizard starting from shoeing donkeys...
The eyes of the onlookers briefly fixed on Second Prince Everton before shifting back to the hideous 'Multi-Headed Dragon.' Even with its repulsive appearance, the intensifying aura radiating from it couldn't be ignored.
Sensing its presence up close, numerous Imperial Guardians widened their eyes in shock and whispered among themselves:
"Epic Peak?"
"Extremely Old Dragon Level?"
"If this truly is the Second Prince's creation... how on earth did he pull it off?"
Their thoughts were cut short as a ferocious bellow burst from the beast, propelling it toward Rein in another assault.
This time, Rein didn't stay in his human shape against the advancing creation but swiftly shifted into his Sixth Form, turning into a massive Dark Silver Old Dragon that clashed head-on in brutal close combat.
Previously, once Rein had escorted the Elves to his estate, he had journeyed back to the Small Secret Realm and, with a single strike, hurled the creation before him right out of the Secret Realm.
"Everyone, shouldn't we assist Lord Rein?" Observing the formidable and elegant Dark Silver Dragon locked in intense combat with the 'Multi-Headed Dragon,' Elder Ivan spoke solemnly to the elders around him.
"It looks like the Second Prince's earlier claims fall apart."
"Time to jump in! We're in the Imperial City—better to wrap this chaos up fast."
"..."
With those words, all the Imperial Guardians present leaped into action at once. Some struck straight at the creation's form, while the rest unleashed wide-ranging blocking spells to contain the disturbance and prevent it from escalating.
After all, this location stood as the pride of the Dragan Empire—the Imperial City Tamriel.
The fight turned decisively in their favor as soon as the Guardians entered the battle.
Though the creation's power surges hit Epic Peak, its fighting techniques fell short. It had barely held its own against Rein's manifestation, the Dark Silver Old Dragon, in the hand-to-hand struggle.
Furthermore, as countless Imperial Guardians coordinated their efforts, within mere ten seconds, the foe issued a pitiful wail and tumbled down from the sky.
Naturally, Rein landed the killing strike, trailing the descending body to drive his razor-sharp dragon claws right into its torso, finishing it off for good.
"Boom!!!"
Like shooting stars, the two colossal beings crashed into the front courtyard of the Second Prince's residence, triggering a tiny mushroom cloud that billowed dust high into the air.
...
Seizing the moment of distraction, Everton, utterly unconcerned with the creation's fate, dashed to his hidden chamber. Clutching a node key, he could slip back to the Small Secret Realm whenever needed, but destroying the Transmission Array was urgent.
If not, should the contents inside fully escape, even his status as a prince might lead to confinement.
His former dreams of higher power? He wouldn't dare entertain them anymore!
By cutting the link between his residence and that Secret Realm, any future troubles could be flatly denied by him.
...
Within the swirling dust.
As Rein's dragon claws pierced through, a sudden system prompt popped up:
[Ding! Detecting host contact with special Blood Essence, discovering parts of absorbable Dragon Gene Segment, do you wish to absorb?]
(Note: After absorbing this Dragon Gene Segment, the host’s Dragon Bloodline Concentration can be enhanced to a certain extent.)
"Huh? An absorbable gene segment exists? And it's only partial?" Rein paused in surprise, then felt a rush of joy.
"Just how many varieties of Giant Dragon offspring’s Blood Essence did that fellow blend into the Super Evolution Potion?"
He was fully aware that at the current 'Super' tier of Bloodline Concentration, any improvements were incredibly tough to come by.
Rein had never imagined he'd boost his Dragon Bloodline Concentration via this creation.
For he understood clearly that the Dragon Scale Brotherhood served as Second Prince Everton's tool to gather Blood Essence from diverse Dragon Bloodline descendants through shady methods.
"The Blood Essence from most of those Dragon Bloodline descendants is pretty diluted; how many descendants went into refining this?"
At this point, it appeared Rein had lowballed the extent of the Dragon Scale Brotherhood's operations, along with the grotesque man Lunfrell's skill in brewing potions.
Without a second thought, Rein selected "Yes!".
Right after, a barrage of system alerts followed:

"Multi-Headed?"
Rein gazed at this special ability in the system notification, a mix of laughter and frustration washing over him.
