I didn’t even have anything to say to that...

If Amber was here, I might even believe that she had done something to help me get these cards but since she’s not here... This was quite literally just pure luck.

Everyone at the table was looking at Vieretha, clearly waiting to see how she would react as she watched her buy in money disappear to reappear in front of me as part of my earnings within a single round.

She blinked at it before a small smile appeared on her lips as she looked at me.

I scratched my cheek, "Umm... I don’t know...."

At this point, I don’t think it would be good for me to reject her so I nodded and let her lead the way as I cashed out from this game.

I was wondering what she wanted from me until she stopped at a section of the casino that was more secluded than the area that we had been in and there were clearly fewer people around as compared to the place we had been in earlier.

I had a feeling that someone was following us the moment we stepped inside the park but I didn’t really know who it was until now. Which meant that they had been practically standing at the entrance the entire day just to wait for us for some reason.

The Dragonling didn’t even seem upset that she was found out and merely just giggled, "Fufufu~ I make my own fates, Lady Tera~ And this encounter is certainly fated."

I’m not really sure if she was trying to insinuate that my fate was in her hands or that she just believes that she controls her own fate or something else entirely.

Still, I decided to just change the topic.
