Urban Seduction: Housewives Club Chapter 1973 - 302: Support from All Sides 2

With Zhang Lingfeng now in deep trouble, everyone wondered who would clandestinely assist him in procuring young women. It was out of the question for the Zhang family's second patriarch to personally manage such sordid affairs.
If the other three prominent clans discovered this, the Zhang family patriarch would likely be the very first to strike him down in discipline.
"Second Patriarch, we are currently deliberating on this situation. Our intent is to retrieve Lingfeng first and then present a full report to you," Zhang Jianyuan explained with a respectful bow.
"Second Patriarch, you must seek justice for Lingfeng!" Zhang Jiancheng wailed, collapsing to the floor. He clung to the second patriarch’s legs, his face a mess of tears and mucus as he sobbed.
The second patriarch of the Zhang family shoved Zhang Jiancheng away with a look of pure loathing. "Enough talk. I will personally travel to Jinling to bring Lingfeng home and settle this score."
"However..."
Zhang Jianyuan paused, his face etched with worry. The second patriarch was a vital pillar of the Zhang family's Cultivation strength.
While a trip to Jinling might not be physically dangerous for him, it would provide their enemies with a perfect excuse to move against the family.
"That is enough. The matter is settled," the second patriarch snapped, dismissing the concerns with a wave of his hand. He scanned the faces in the meeting hall. "Who amongst you will accompany me?"
"Second Patriarch, I shall go!" five individuals shouted simultaneously, stepping forward to offer their services.
They had no desire to visit Jinling on their own, as there was no profit in it. However, by traveling with the second patriarch and serving him diligently, they hoped to earn his personal favor.
This group of five consisted of two experts at the Guizhen realm and three at the Tianyuan realm.
The second patriarch of the Zhang family nodded without hesitation. "Very well, you five will suffice. We depart immediately!"
"I cannot wait until tomorrow. The thought of young Lingfeng enduring such misery in Jinling is more than I can stand," the second patriarch declared, leading his entourage out of the hall with a flourish.
Once they were clear of the meeting hall, the second patriarch’s mask of fury crumbled, replaced by a predatory, lecherous grin.
His claim of rescuing Zhang Lingfeng was a mere facade. In truth, he had heard rumors that Jinling was a sanctuary for stunning beauties, particularly within the elite families.
In the past, the restrictions of the Warriors’ Alliance had prevented him from targeting the three major families of Jinling. Now that he had a legitimate pretext, he intended to satisfy his lust to the fullest.
Shortly after, the party of six boarded a flying vehicle and turned toward the horizon, heading for Jinling.
With three at the Tianyuan realm, two at the Guizhen realm, and one at the Tiefan realm, this group possessed enough power to bring all of Jinling to its knees.
This was merely a small portion of the strength held by the four major families of Tianhai. The massive disparity between a standard city and a supercity was glaringly obvious.
Despite the vast distance separating Tianhai and Jinling, the speed of their flying vehicle ensured they would arrive by dawn at the latest.
When they arrived, the three major families of Jinling would likely face a catastrophe unlike any they had ever known.
"It’s nothing major. I simply had a free afternoon and wanted to catch up with you," Su Mengyun said, offering a warm smile. "Seeing that Yue has finally matured and developed such impressive talents, I can finally feel at peace."
Indeed, he had matured significantly—so much so that his aunt found him to be more than she could handle.
At the mention of her nephew, Wang Yuyao felt a sudden flutter in her chest. Even though they had reached a peak three times that very morning, her inner cravings remained unquenched.
Maintaining her composure, she shook her head and replied, "There is no need for such excitement. He is still just a boy with much to learn."
"True, the weight on his shoulders is likely heavier than my own," Su Mengyun sighed.
"Consider the Zhang family. They are growing restless and may very well seek a coalition with the Tianhai powers. This will be a difficult trial to overcome."
"What is there to dread? As long as Yue and my cousin are here, the Zhang family won't be able to stir up any real trouble," Wang Yuyao remarked dismissively.
The "cousin" she referred to was Shen Siying. Chen Lingwei, a member of the Chen clan, was the cousin of Shen Siying’s husband.
Su Mengyun, however, did not share this confidence. "But what if Tianhai dispatches a peak Guizhen realm expert, or perhaps someone even more formidable?"
"That is highly unlikely. The Warriors’ Alliance doesn't exist just for decoration," Wang Yuyao countered.
"Furthermore, if Jinling were truly valuable enough to attract such powerful masters, wouldn't the great sects have made their move a long time ago?"
Su Mengyun actually agreed with this logic. Bringing up these concerns was simply a tactic to lower Wang Yuyao’s guard.
She sensed something suspicious between Wang Yuyao and Wang Yue. Specifically, that morning, Wang Yuyao had appeared strangely flushed—bearing the unmistakable look of a woman who had just been intimately satisfied.
"You're probably right; I'm likely just being paranoid," Su Mengyun said with a light laugh, shifting the topic. "Yuyao, let’s be honest. For all these years, I’ve felt the Su family has treated you unfairly."
"Not at all, I have lived very well within the Su family. Both you and your mother-in-law have been incredibly kind; I am truly grateful," Wang Yuyao replied, smiling.
"But regardless of our kindness, we are still just women. There are certain needs we simply cannot fulfill for you," Su Mengyun pressed on.
"And my brother... even before he vanished, he was rarely home. I didn't grasp it back then, but over the last three years, I've come to realize many things. I truly don't know how you endured it."
"It was nothing; I simply managed," Wang Yuyao said, a pang of guilt hitting her. Had Su Mengyun said this two weeks ago, she would have agreed that her husband had failed her.
But now that she was engaged in a secret affair—and with her own nephew, no less—such talk only intensified her sense of shame.
