Urban Seduction: Housewives Club Chapter 1969 - 298: The Filial Daughter 3

A sense of powerlessness washed over Wang Yue. As an elder, Su Quan commanded respect; even his own mother addressed her as "auntie." He was forced to remain silent and take it when she openly labeled his father a bastard.
Deep down, Wang Yue actually found himself in agreement. He had long felt that his father was completely unworthy of a woman like his mother.
None of that truly mattered, however, because he was by her side now.
With a confident grin, he spoke up, "But because of that mistake, she ended up with the world’s greatest son. Rest easy, Auntie. Now that I’m here, my mother’s future will be filled with nothing but joy and satisfaction. I intend to compensate her for those thirty wasted years and transform her into the happiest mother—and the happiest woman—on this planet."
Su Quan found great solace in his declaration. She felt that Yan Er was truly blessed to have such a devoted son. She didn't even view his claim of being the "best son in the world" as boastful.
Given that he was a fifteen-year-old prodigy at the Gui Zhen realm, his sheer talent alone arguably made the statement a fact.
In contrast, Su Jin Er and the others were paralyzed by shock. Previously, when Wang Yue vowed to claim all the women from the three major families, they had mentally excluded Su Meng Yan. Since she was his biological mother, they assumed there was no reason to interpret his words that way.
However, his recent phrasing made them feel that something was deeply wrong. Calling her the "happiest mother" was one thing, but the "happiest woman"? They wondered if this young flirt actually harbored scandalous intentions toward his own mother...
Oblivious to the strange looks Su Jin Er and the others were exchanging, Su Quan continued, "It appears you’ve learned the truth about the events from thirty years ago. It is a regret of mine that I was traveling on business back then; I might have been able to talk some sense into him. Still, try not to harbor too much resentment toward your grandfather. In his mind, he was acting for the benefit of the whole family."
"I understand, Auntie," Wang Yue answered. What was done was done, and dwelling on blame changed nothing.
His current priorities were refining his strength and discovering the current status of his second aunt.
Once the pleasantries concluded, Su Xiu Er inquired, "Grandma, is Aunt Yan occupied? There’s a matter we need to discuss with her."
"I figured you lot didn't come here just to visit an old woman like me," Su Quan remarked, her voice tinged with mock irritation.
Su Xiu Er quickly moved to embrace Su Quan, smiling brightly. "You've got it all wrong, Grandma!
In reality, my brother could have handled this visit by himself. We all tagged along specifically because we missed you.
Besides, you aren't old at all! If a stranger saw us together, they’d assume you were our sister, wouldn't they, brother?"
"Absolutely," Wang Yue added with a chuckle. "Even though I call you 'Auntie' to be polite, in my heart, I've always thought of you as 'Sister Quan.' I only kept it to myself because I didn't want to get a lecture."
"What is this 'Sister Quan' nonsense? That’s far too bold; you definitely deserve a scolding for that!" Su Quan chided playfully, though she was clearly beaming at their flattery.
Having never married, her entire life had been dedicated to the Su family.
She had raised Su Meng Yun and Su Meng Yan herself, so she viewed Su Jin Er and Wang Yue as her own grandchildren.
As the saying goes, the love for a second generation is even stronger; she doted on these youngsters more than she ever had on Su Meng Yun and the others. She truly didn't mind Wang Yue’s cheeky behavior.
"Fei Fei is currently in the lab, and things should be quiet there right now. You can head over and talk to her," Su Quan informed them. As the manager of the entire base, she had a mountain of responsibilities.
As much as she liked chatting with the younger generation, her duties came first. After a bit more talk, she sent them on their way.
"You little brat, you really are a professional flatterer," Su Xiu Er whispered as they walked toward the laboratory.
"'Sister Quan'... If you keep this up, are you going to make her your 'affectionate sister' too?"
"I don't see the problem. Auntie is gorgeous, has an incredible body, and treats me so well. It’s only natural for me to be drawn to her," Wang Yue replied, completely unashamed.
"Why do you act like a dog in heat, wanting to sleep with every pretty woman you lay eyes on?" Su Xiu’er asked, sounding annoyed.
She had accepted Wang Yue and his existing relationships, but she didn't think his harem should grow without limit. As his sister, she felt a responsibility to curb his promiscuity.
"Isn't that the dream of every man? To have all the world's beauties for himself?" Wang Yue joked. Then, turning serious, he added, "Don't worry, I'm not actually going to chase every woman I see. There needs to be a real connection. Beyond the women of our three families, I don't plan on pursuing many outsiders."
At those words, Su Jin’er recalled what Wang Yue had told Su Quan earlier. She frowned and asked point-blank, "Brother, be honest with me. Do you actually have designs on our mother?"
Wang Yue saw no reason to lie to them. He nodded and said with total sincerity, "I do. Setting aside the fact that our mother is the most stunning woman in history and I am simply captivated by her... even if she were just an average-looking woman, my feelings would be the same."
Su Jin’er, Su Xiu’er, and Chu Mo stared at him in pure disbelief, as if he were a total degenerate.
Su Jiaojiao, however, seemed to find logic in his words. She nodded and said, "If I were in his shoes, I’d likely feel the same way."
"Jiaojiao!" Su Jin’er snapped, glaring at her. She felt Jiaojiao was being far too soft on Wang Yue, which would only encourage his behavior.
"Sis, calm down and listen to me," Su Jiaojiao said, her tone unusually grave. "You’re brilliant, and you just slept with your own cousin... You should be able to grasp a concept as simple as this."
