Lin Yiren revealed her new lingerie to Xu Wendong, sharing an intimate moment. Meanwhile, Ye Qiu returned home to find her family in deep mourning over the sudden death of her cousin in a car accident. To compound the tragedy, her young niece, Tangyuan, was critically injured when a kindergarten slide collapsed.

Initially, she found it hard to accept that Xu Wendong, a young man, possessed such skill in physiognomy.

But now, a realization dawned upon her.

It seemed Xu Wendong truly was proficient in reading faces.

The catch, however, was that the impending blood calamity and disaster weren't just hers to face, but threatened the entire Ye Family.

Otherwise, how could her cousin and his daughter meet misfortune on the very same day?

Returning to her senses, Ye Qiu attempted to compose herself and couldn't help but ask her grandfather, "Grandfather, do you believe that someone can discern others’ fortunes through face reading?"

Mr. Ye showed a slight surprise at Ye Qiu’s sudden and somewhat out-of-place question, a flicker of bewilderment crossing his eyes as he pondered the reason for her inquiry at that particular moment.

Yet, drawing upon his extensive experience and composure, he slowly replied, "In this immense world, individuals with extraordinary capabilities are as abundant as the stars, countless in number."

"It is true that a rare few, seemingly blessed by the heavens with unique innate talents and exceptional abilities, exist. They are capable of mastering the profound art of face reading."

"However, individuals like these are exceedingly scarce, as rare as phoenix feathers and unicorn horns."

"Even those cultivators who wield awe-inspiring power and possess unfathomable cultivation realms might not necessarily have mastered such miraculous and almost unbelievable divine skills."

Ye Qiu paused for a moment before continuing, "Today, while I was at the mall, I happened to encounter a young man. He looked at me with intense, steady eyes and stated that malevolent Qi was silently accumulating on my forehead, warning that I would soon face a blood calamity."

"At the time, I dismissed his words as mere nonsense and didn't give them any weight."

"Later, I went to the antique market to browse, hoping to find a protective charm for my safety. Unexpectedly, I ran into him again by chance..."

Ye Qiu then proceeded to recount in detail the sequence of events that transpired during her encounters with Xu Wendong.

Finally, she carefully retrieved the amulet from her bag, an item she had acquired for a substantial sum of 1.2 million yuan.

"Was this talisman genuinely inscribed by that young man?" Mr. Ye was astonished upon first seeing the amulet.

Despite being an ordinary mortal, having never truly ventured into the mysterious and fantastical realm of cultivators, he had always harbored a deep-seated yearning and fascination for it.

It was precisely this inclination that led him, over the years, to spare no expense or effort in his quest to find and collect amulets and other talismans, cherishing them as priceless artifacts.

However, at this very moment, the talisman held in Ye Qiu’s hand evoked a profound sense of shock and admiration within him.

This was because, when compared to the dozens of talismans he possessed, this one far exceeded them in every aspect: the intricate complexity of its inscribed runes, the potency of its spiritual energy fluctuations, and the enigmatic aura it exuded.

"Although this talisman is crafted from ordinary materials, the runes etched upon it are incredibly miraculous. I can sense the potent power it contains."

"This talisman is even more potent than those originating from Dragon and Tiger Mountain!"

The other members of the Ye Family readily concurred, as the talismans from Dragon and Tiger Mountain were widely acknowledged as unparalleled.

And yet.

They could all clearly discern that the talisman inscribed by Xu Wendong was far more wondrous than those meticulously crafted by the formidable practitioners of the Taoist Sect from Dragon and Tiger Mountain.

It possessed an indescribable allure and a profound depth.

"Grandfather," Ye Qiu's clear and resolute voice resonated once more, "I was wondering, could we perhaps invite that individual to our family's residence to assist us in foreseeing our future?"

At this juncture, Ye Qiu had wholeheartedly embraced a firm belief in Xu Wendong's extraordinary capabilities.

In her estimation, if they could successfully extend an invitation to Xu Wendong to join the Ye Family, he might be able to skillfully navigate and resolve the numerous predicaments and complex issues currently ensnaring the family.

Mr. Ye subtly narrowed his seasoned eyes and gradually inclined his head, a fleeting glint of anticipation momentarily surfacing in his gaze, which had previously appeared somewhat clouded, "If we can indeed locate this person and extend a sincere invitation for him to visit the Ye Family, it would not be an entirely unreasonable proposition."

Ye Qiu softly acknowledged with a sound, contemplated for a brief moment, and then stated, "Uncle Gao from the Talisman Shop possesses that gentleman's contact information. I shall call him to inquire."

Upon hearing this, Ye Qiu's father couldn't suppress a wry smile and slowly shook his head, a touch of resignation evident as he remarked, "Old Gao has always been a shrewd and calculating individual. Even if he does have the young man's contact details, he might not be inclined to readily share them with us!"

The following day, gentle sunlight descended upon the earth, bestowing upon the world a delicate layer of golden luminescence.

With breakfast concluded, Xu Wendong and his sister-in-law, Lin Yiren, were preparing to embark on another bustling day at the Antique Street. However, just as they were about to depart, Xu Wendong's mobile phone chimed loudly, breaking the morning calm.

A quick glance revealed the caller ID belonged to Gao Cheng.

"What directives does Boss Gao have for me today?" Xu Wendong inquired with a slight smile as he answered the call.

"My dear Friend Xu, you are far too kind," Gao Cheng responded, his tone shifting slightly before he got straight to the point. "It seems that last evening, Miss Ye contacted me with considerable urgency. She was quite insistent on obtaining your phone number. It gave me the impression she had something of great importance she wished to entrust to you."

"I felt it was only right to inform you of this conversation first, to gauge your feelings on the matter, before acting. Hence, I called you immediately."

"There's no need to give her my number. If she requires assistance, she can find me at the Mystic Spirit Pavilion," Xu Wendong stated calmly and with certainty. "Oh, and by the way, the Mystic Spirit Pavilion is the establishment formerly known as Baoyu Pavilion. I've successfully secured the lease and intend to establish my own shop there!"

Gao Cheng chuckled audibly from the other end. "Who would have thought we'd become neighbors? What a remarkable coincidence! Very well, I shall relay your message to Miss Ye without delay."

After a short closing exchange, Xu Wendong ended the call with Gao Cheng. He then proceeded to drive his Mercedes, with his sister-in-law by his side, towards Antique Street.

As they had departed after the morning rush, the roads were relatively clear. Even so, the journey spanned over half an hour.

Upon their arrival at the shop, Xu Wendong proceeded to remove the previous signboard. He then hoisted the new 'Mystic Spirit Pavilion' sign in its rightful place.

This act marked the official opening of the establishment.

Scarcely had the sign been secured when a graceful figure could be seen approaching from a distance.

It could only be Ye Qiu.
