Dracula offered another 'awkward' laugh. "It's primarily because I wish to collaborate with Brother Lin. Furthermore, Brother Lin did agree to a potential partnership last time."

Lin Dong responded coolly, "Last time, I didn't give a direct agreement to cooperate. I stated we would see."

"Haha..." Dracula laughed awkwardly once more. "Brother Lin, do you truly not trust me? A collaboration with you promises considerable benefits and profits. It is certainly not a scheme to entrap you."

"Oh? Then elaborate. Your proposal for cooperation last time was filled with veiled meanings. How can I place my trust in you?" Lin Dong fixed his gaze upon him, speaking with a measured tone.

Dracula paused for a moment, glancing at Ye Linglong as if suggesting a private conversation away from her.
