Chong Sheng has infiltrated the Quan Clan and humiliated their leader, Quan Lingshu, by pinning him to the floor. As the clan elders rush in to intervene, they are shocked to discover the identity of the intruder and the overwhelming demonic power he now commands. Faced with a coordinated assault from the clan's formidable experts, Chong Sheng brushes off his injuries and prepares to settle the score once and for all.

Even so—numbers were a force to be reckoned with.

Not even a powerhouse like Chong Sheng could evade every single strike indefinitely.

A palm blow grazed his ribs, while a flash of steel sliced across his arm. Gradually, the intensity of the assault mounted.

Suddenly, a triumphant bark erupted from Quan Lingshu across the combat zone.

"Hahaha!"

The previous stain of humiliation vanished from his face, replaced by a gaze burning with cruel, vicious glee.

"Do you see it now?!"

He jabbed a finger toward Chong Sheng.

"This marks your end!"

The Elders kept up their relentless offensive. The surroundings were thick with razor-sharp blade light and volatile Qi.

"You humiliated me!" Quan Lingshu roared.

"You dared to trample me like a mangy dog!"

His features twisted into a mask of pure hatred.

"Tonight, you shall pay the price for that insult!"

With another series of strikes forcing Chong Sheng to retreat, Quan Lingshu grew bolder.

"Yield already!" he sneered. "Your infiltration might have been clever, but escaping is an entirely different beast!"

He gestured at the surrounding Elders, his tone haughty. "Look around you. You are completely pinned down! Your Qi will be spent soon, and my reinforcements are on their way. You have no hope left!"

He was not entirely mistaken. After all the grueling combat, Chong Sheng’s Qi reserves had depleted by nearly half, exhausted by his constant defensive maneuvers. With more enemies flooding the courtyard, his chances of emerging victorious were non-existent. Escape seemed impossible, especially since the formation had been activated to seal his path.

While Chong Sheng could theoretically deploy a Teleportation Formation, Quan Lingshu was keeping him far too occupied to attempt it.

Yet, instead of displaying even a hint of panic, Chong Sheng simply offered a calm, amused smirk.

"It appears you have misunderstood the situation entirely."

He calmly wiped a smear of blood from his lip.

"To finish everyone here..." he noted, glancing around the hall with indifference, "...I don't even need to lift a finger."

Quan Lingshu erupted into laughter, prompting the others to join in almost immediately.

"Hahaha!"

The mocking laughter rang out harshly.

"A pathetic bluff!" Quan Lingshu’s eyes glinted with mockery. "Do you take us for fools? You are struggling just to keep breath in your lungs, and yet—" He leveled his sword at Chong Sheng. "—you claim you can slaughter us all without raising a finger?"

The Elders scoffed their agreement.

"Does he think he is a Divinity?"

"A mere Demonic Cultivator living in a fantasy, playing at being an Immortal!"

Chong Sheng met their taunts with icy composure. Abruptly, he vanished.

"...?!"

Quan Lingshu’s eyes went wide.

"Find him!" he roared instantly. "He’s attempting to flee!"

The Elders scattered in frantic pursuit, their spiritual sense sweeping through every corner of the estate. But before they could track his position, a voice reverberated throughout the entire compound.

"Quan Clan!"

Vibrated with massive amounts of Qi, the sound carried far beyond the study hall, shattering the quiet of the night.

Alarms triggered as lights flickered to life across the estate. Doors were thrown open, and clan members spilled out, dazed and confused.

"Who is that screaming at this hour?"

"Who dares disturb my rest? They better have a damn good reason!"

Tempers flared, and curiosity rose. Inside the study hall, Quan Lingshu’s face darkened.

"That detestable wretch..."

He sprinted outside, the Elders following close at his heels. Entering the courtyard, they spotted him. Chong Sheng was perched atop the highest structure of the Quan Clan estate. His dark robes fluttered in the night air, and he looked down upon his surroundings with the crushing authority of a monarch.

Quan Lingshu’s expression contorted. "Surround that structure!" he barked. "Don't let him slip away!"

Dozens of cultivators rushed to encircle the area, yet Chong Sheng remained unbothered. He smiled down at the gathering crowd.

"Greetings, everyone," his voice carried clearly across the grounds. "My name is Chong Sheng."

Some frowned, while others realized the significance of the name.

"Is that the slave from earlier?"

"The one who escaped?"

Chong Sheng continued with casual ease. "You may recognize me or you may not, but frankly, it is of no consequence." He opened his arms wide. "I came here for only one thing tonight."

His crimson eyes glimmered with lethal intent. "Revenge."

Murmurs rippled through the crowd. Some emitted nervous laughter, while others simply dismissed the threat.

"He has lost his mind."

"Is he completely insane?"

"Does he honestly think he can raze the entire Quan Clan all by himself?"

Even Quan Lingshu sneered. "Chong Sheng!" his voice was razor-sharp. "Submit immediately. There is nowhere left for you to turn!"

Chong Sheng only smirked in response. He clicked his fingers.

Snap!

Instantly, a colossal formation ignited across the entire estate. Within a few heartbeats, the whole grounds were entombed within a massive energy dome.

Quan Lingshu’s pupils contracted. "So many nodes..."

Several Elders stared in sheer terror. "This formation... it’s beyond anything common!" The pressure radiating from it was oppressive, far exceeding any Grade-4 barrier they had ever encountered.

Quan Lingshu’s voice trembled slightly. "What is this formation?"

Chong Sheng made no attempt to hide the truth. "A Grade-6 Formation!"

The crowd gasped. "Impossible!" Quan Lingshu erupted. "Do you expect us to believe such blatant lies?!"

Chong Sheng gave a light shrug. "I call it the Hundred Mile Obliteration Formation. When its sequence completes, everything within the barrier will be incinerated."

Buildings. Cultivators. The entire estate would be wiped from existence. "None of you will survive. Unless you have reached the level of an Immortal, there is no escape."

Heavy silence weighed on the group, until Quan Lingshu shouted in a surge of desperation, "You’re bluffing!"

Despite his words, his heart was sinking like a stone. Chong Sheng had already fabricated a Grade-6 teleportation array earlier—if he was capable of that, he was certainly capable of this. Quan Lingshu waved his hand, desperately trying to tear a rift in the spatial fabric, but nothing happened.

"...?!" His face went ashen.

"Searching for an exit?" Chong Sheng chuckled. "Tsk, tsk! Sadly, you won't find one. I’ve already reinforced the area to lock it down. Unlike you, I am not prone to carelessness."

Desperation gripped Quan Lingshu. "Seize him!" he screamed. "If we capture him, he will be compelled to drop the formation!"

Several combat experts lunged toward Chong Sheng, but before they could close the distance—

BOOM!

A massive detonation tore through the western wing of the estate. Buildings vanished in an instant, and tongues of flame licked the night sky. The screams that followed were chilling, freezing everyone in their tracks.

Chong Sheng held up a single finger. "Another one," he whispered.

BOOM!

A completely different sector of the Quan compound shattered. Shock, raw and unfiltered, washed over every face present. The truth finally struck them: this was no bluff.

Paralyzed, the crowd stood in dread until a wave of panic broke the tension.

"Wait!" an Elder shrieked in absolute terror. "We surrender!"

Others began to plead. "This is your home! You spent years here! You cannot abandon your roots!"

Even Quan Lingshu lost his composure. "Chong Sheng!" his voice was thin and shaking. "We can negotiate! I can grant you the position of Clan Leader! All the wealth of the Quan Clan—it all belongs to you!"

Chong Sheng’s expression remained glacial, showing no sign of weakness or change.

Quan Lingshu clenched his fists in frustration. "If this formation detonates, you perish along with us!" he roared. "Are you planning to commit suicide just to watch us die?"

Chong Sheng offered a faint, chilling smile.

He raised his hand. The space directly in front of him tore open like a sheet of parchment, revealing the murky void. Quan Lingshu stared in absolute disbelief.

Chong Sheng stepped toward the rift. He looked back at them one final time.

"You are the ones who are trapped here. I, however, am not!" He gave a jaunty wave. "Bye-bye!"

He stepped into the void, and the portal snapped shut behind him.

The remaining clan members watched in paralyzed, absolute horror. Above them, the Grade-6 formation pulsed with intensifying, lethal brilliance. The final countdown to their destruction had already commenced.
