Cale and Alberu learn about the chaos in the Oceanic Alliance, where a power vacuum has formed after the great general's incapacitation. They decide to find a ship to reach Island 1, the general's residence. Cale arranges for passage on a whale and, using a dense fog, they ambush a pirate ship to acquire it.
