The third Emperor unleashes a colossal sea-like wave to destroy the city, intending to draw out the Demon King's hesitation and defeat Cale. The Demon King, however, feels no attachment to anything and walks freely through the wave toward the Emperor, unconcerned about the destruction. As the wave approaches the city and the ancient site, Strategist Ed prepares his forces, but the situation seems hopeless until Cale intervenes. He calls upon the Water that Devours the Sky, and together they unleash a rain-based counterattack against the Emperor's sea.
