Previously on Trash of the Count's Family...
Cale wakes in a critical condition, suffering from the aftereffects of absorbing a divine relic and battling the third Emperor. He learns the Demon King has requested a meeting, seemingly due to a new outbreak of gray sickness in a major city, which Cale believes he can purify. Despite his weakened state, Cale insists on traveling to the city immediately, planning to purify both himself and the outbreak simultaneously. His companions express concern, but Cale reassures them that his current symptoms are temporary and manageable.
