Cale wields the silver shield against the Pope, whose body is surrounded by devouring mouths. The Heavenly Demon captures Head Steward Hitelis, but she opens a third eye, claiming she can only see what Chaos grants. Cale relentlessly attacks the Pope with the shield, causing the Pope's chaos to weaken and be consumed. Cale realizes his shield can eat the Pope's power, and after a fierce exchange, Cale's shield crushes the Pope's arms, forcing him to his knees.
