Titan King: Ascension of the Giant Chapter 1589 Birth of an Ascendant Plane

Within the scope of laws, Orion and The Lifeless Dreadgod observed as a tetrahedral rune blazed with celestial light. Thousands of holy swords, formed from condensed rays, hurtled towards the ethereal structure of The Dais of Judgment, ultimately shaping into the apparition of a man adorned in opulent attire.
Spectral visions flickered behind the phantom. Naked captives, emblazoned with cursed marks and bound in chains to The Dais of Judgment, writhed. Their pleas and wails filled the air as their corporeal forms and very souls dissolved into oblivion, bit by bit.
"Another world makes its descent!"
Orion felt no surprise. Clown and the Cult of Four had orchestrated this catastrophe from its inception. It was entirely logical for the Cult to intervene at this precise moment; he would have been far more astonished had they abstained from doing so.
"See the consequences of allowing yourself to be manipulated?" Orion inquired, gazing down at Insect Queen Moriphara. "Furthermore, if you dare encroach upon my domain, prepare yourself for demise."
All players were now positioned on the grand stage. Curiously, the queen's countenance betrayed no hint of panic. Just as Orion prepared to deliver the final blow, she dissipated into a stream of light, making her escape.
Moments prior, atop the Planetary Hive within the Titanion Realm, an unparalleled sacrificial ceremony had commenced.
It was a sacrifice, and an apocalypse rolled into one.
Every insectoid inhabiting the Planetary Hive—irrespective of their size, rank, or potency—vanished into ash in an instant. Even the three demigods stationed there were offered to the ritual. They embraced their deaths willingly, surrendering themselves to the swarm.
A piercing, mournful chittering reverberated throughout the Titanion Realm, sending ripples across the vast ocean of laws. The sound ascended to a deafening crescendo, its extreme frequency causing the very realm to tremble.
A colossal insectoid altar erupted from the surface of the Planetary Hive. The ground splintered, and the spatial dome fractured. Amidst the ensuing devastation, immense Wormholes slowly tore open the sky, allowing a major insectoid world to violently collide with the Titanion Realm.
Floating adrift in the ocean of laws, Orion watched the unfolding chaos spiral beyond control. He extinguished his final flicker of Hope.
Originally, Orion had intended to meld his Divine Vessel into the Titanion Realm. Doing so would have been sufficient to subjugate Insect Queen Moriphara. Even with interference from the Cult of Four and the Profane Lands, he could have simply integrated his Divine Kingdom into the fray, rendering him invincible.
But now?
Orion had never foreseen the Profane Lands, the Cult of Four, and the insectoids jointly dragging an entire world into the Titanion Realm. His Divine Kingdom, once his ultimate trump card, no longer guaranteed victory. More critically, he had to deploy it immediately, or he wouldn't even secure a place in the ensuing conflict.
Orion wavered. Merging the Divine Kingdom signified burning all his bridges, permanently entangling him with the fate of the Titanion Realm.
Suddenly, Commander Thresh's voice resonated in his ears. "Not bad. It's been a while since I've witnessed a spectacle of this magnitude."
Orion snapped out of his reverie. "Commander?"
"Hulk, keep your Divine Kingdom out of this. That is your ultimate escape route. Do not trap yourself in a corner," Thresh advised. "Since these fools dare to crash their worlds into your territory, let's escalate the stakes. Catch this. Do not fight it."
Before Orion could respond, a World Tree materialized in his grasp, radiating absolute world Authority. As the Authority settled into his hand, he recognized it—the Realm's Core of the Platinum Realm.
"Come on," Thresh chuckled. "Let's collide one of our own and demonstrate how it's truly done!"
Orion acted without hesitation or question. Commander Thresh was undeniably mad, and that madness was infectious. Embracing the lunacy, Orion steered the Platinum Realm, driving it headlong into the Titanion Realm.
Only after the collision did Orion grasp the astonishing smoothness of the sequence. Why were the cosmic coordinates of the Platinum Realm positioned so closely to the Titanion Realm? Had Commander Thresh meticulously orchestrated this entire event?
He had no time to ponder his burgeoning doubts. The impact initiated a cataclysmic transformation. Following the collision, an absolute darkness enveloped the Titanion Realm, plunging every living creature and conscious entity into a profound slumber.
Even the mystical defenses of Blackstone City, Stoneheart, the Planetary Hive, and the Demonic Pillars fell into complete dormancy.
Everything was reset to zero. The world regressed into the void.
Blade's Edge Peak, Valkorath Realm.
Leonidas, Alexander, and Deputy Commander Edward arrived in unison, accompanied by a spectral projection of Arthas. They had journeyed here with the fervent hope that the Commander possessed the answers they so desperately sought.
An event as massive as the Platinum Realm colliding with the Titanion Realm had occurred with absolutely no forewarning. Leonidas, Alexander, and Edward, all stationed within, found themselves completely taken by surprise. Following the Titanion Realm's forced reset to zero, which severed all links to their demigod phantoms and avatars, the comrades could no longer afford to remain idle.
"Come, come! It's been far too long since we've all been together. Have a drink with me!" Commander Thresh exclaimed as he welcomed them. "Leonidas, you're on roasting duty. Make sure you properly drain the blood from the meat."
Thus, a tent, a campfire, an entire roasted sheep, silver platters, and the Commander's drinking horn came together, creating a scene for a gathering that felt both comfortingly familiar and strangely out of place.
Deputy Commander Edward sat quietly by the Commander's side. He produced several crystal bottles filled with exquisite wines, gathered from his own domain. While Edward himself was not a heavy drinker, he derived great pleasure from collecting rare spirits. Knowing the Commander's fondness for fine alcohol, and aware that Leonidas, Alexander, and Arthas were veritable heavyweights when it came to drinking, sharing his private reserve with his companions brought the Deputy Commander a distinct sense of fulfillment.
"You're remarkably quiet today, Edward," Commander Thresh remarked with a smile. He took a bottle from his deputy, uncorked it, and took a long, deeply satisfying draught.
"I performed a divination prior to my arrival," Edward responded calmly. "The reading indicated a pattern of immense joy and celebration."
His declaration caused Alexander and Leonidas's eyes to brighten. Neither uttered a word; one continued to expertly carve the meat, while the other diligently turned the roasting spit.
"And you? Tired of confining yourself to the Ever-Burning Volcano?" the Commander inquired, shifting his gaze to Arthas, who was tending to the fire by adding kindling.
"I simply grew bored. Thought I'd take a stroll," Arthas replied.
The Commander offered a nod, making no effort to challenge the obvious untruth.
Orion had just recalled his demigod phantom stationed in the Minor Hell world. It was hardly a secret that something significant was unfolding on his end, a fact Arthas was well aware of. Just in case, Arthas had maintained one demigod phantom in active status to provide continuous surveillance of the situation within the Titanion Realm.
Before long, the meat was perfectly roasted, and the goblets were brimming. The Commander raised his glass.
"A toast! To the Champions Alliance and its conquest of the Platinum Realm!"
"Cheers!"
"To the Commander!"
"Long live the Commander!"
"Magnificent!"
Edward, Alexander, Arthas, and Leonidas lifted their glasses and drank in unison.
"A toast! To Orion, the undisputed powerhouse of our esteemed Champions Alliance!"
"Cheers!"
"To Orion!"
"That young man is a true powerhouse!"
This time, the Commander had referred to him as Orion, not Hulk. While Leonidas, Alexander, and Arthas might have overlooked this subtle alteration, Edward certainly noticed. He became lost in contemplation, a sharp, calculating glint momentarily flashing within his eyes.
"A toast! To the bright and promising future of the Champions Alliance!"
"Cheers!"
"Cheers!"
When the Commander spoke of a bright future, even the more straightforward individuals like Leonidas, Alexander, and Arthas finally grasped the underlying significance of his words.
"Lord Commander," Leonidas stated, presenting the most succulent and sizable portion of roasted meat. His voice was laced with unmistakable flattery. "Has our protégé finally delivered some welcome news?"
The Commander shook his head. He took a slow bite of the meat, washing it down with wine. Only after he had allowed the anticipation to build to its peak did he finally speak.
"Four major worlds have just collided within Hulk's territory. The Titanion Realm is on the verge of ascending to an Ascendant Plane."
The concept of an Ascendant Plane was not entirely foreign to the group, yet they struggled to comprehend why the Commander regarded it as the ultimate prize.
Arthas subtly nudged Leonidas beneath the table, signaling him to probe further for answers.
"Lord Commander, what precisely is the advantage of an Ascendant Plane?" Leonidas inquired, disregarding the kick as he himself was intensely curious. "Is it merely a vastly larger world, akin to what I'm imagining?"
"Allow me to clarify that point," Edward interjected before the Commander could respond. "A world is a world, and a plane is a plane. Do not conflate the two. A plane can encompass the convergence of multiple worlds, a fusion of various worlds, or even instances where worlds consume one another entirely. The Abyss and Hell, which you are all familiar with, stand as two of the most ancient and top-tier planes."
The use of the Abyss and Hell as illustrative examples immediately dispelled the confusion among the rest of the group, clearly defining the distinction.
"Heh... World, plane, the specifics aren't crucial," Commander Thresh let out a chuckle. "What you must grasp is this: only an Ascendant Plane or a realm beyond can withstand the complete might of a deity. It serves as the sole stage for a god to truly manifest in the mortal world."
The Commander delivered this knowledge with ease, yet Leonidas, Alexander, Edward, and Arthas were utterly stunned into silence. A profound quiet descended upon their gathering, the chilling implications of his words slowly taking root.
Without dwelling on further explanation, the Commander proceeded to unveil another momentous revelation—a secret guarded by the universe's most supreme powers.
"Moreover, an Ascendant Plane possesses the ability to coalesce and materialize a Divine Mantle."
Upon hearing this, all present, save for Edward, were once again plunged into a state of utter bewilderment.
"A Divine Mantle? What in the blazes is that?" Leonidas exclaimed, his curiosity piqued without prompt from Alexander or Arthas.
Yet, no response was forthcoming.
