Titan King: Ascension of the Giant Chapter 1560 Enemies on Every Front

THOOM!
A deep, resonating boom reverberated throughout the realm. It sounded as though a massive warhammer had struck the very fabric of existence, sending seismic tremors through every living being. Immediately following this, an intensely brilliant light tore through the heavens, banishing the oppressive darkness.
"What is that?"
Seraphina had been fixedly watching the sky since Orion departed, her gaze filled with both curiosity and apprehension. The muffled explosion reached her before the light did. It wasn't a sound traveling through the air, but rather the distinct vibrational impact on the world's cosmic laws.
"Orion!"
As the one who shared his life, Seraphina instantly recognized the silhouette within the brilliant glow. It was her beloved. High above, Orion had fully unfurled his eight powerful arms in a gesture that seemed to cradle the sky, as if supporting the dazzling expanse of light above him. The scene was reminiscent of an ancient legend etched into a colossal stone monument of the Horde.
She was not the sole observer of this phenomenal event. The Human Demigod, Evander, and the Siren Demigod, Kairon, also bore witness.
"A falling star?"
"Orion?"
"It's the enemy!"
On a distant continent, Evander stood sentinel atop Mount Demigod. His initial bewilderment rapidly gave way to astonishment, culminating in a startled cry of alarm.
Meanwhile, amidst the vast oceans. A Siren—a creature of leviathan proportions, even more immense than a dragon, its lower half a disturbing tangle of writhing tentacles—surged from the oceanic depths, fixating on the luminous sky.
"An eight-armed apparition?"
"That's Giant King Orion's true battle form!"
"Who is he confronting?"
"The insectoids!"
Bathed in the intense radiance, the colossal phantom of the Stoneheart Titan was unmistakable. Siren Demigod Kairon immediately identified Orion. Before Kairon could even process his reaction, a formidable aura erupted from the direction of the Titan Continent. A Mermaid, adorned with shimmering, iridescent scales, ascended swiftly into the sky.
"Seraphina!"
Noticing Seraphina's ascent, Kairon reacted without hesitation. He unfurled his fins, his tentacled tail churning the ocean's surface as he propelled himself towards the heavens.
On the opposite side of the globe, Evander naturally perceived the swift movements of the two oceanic Demigods.
"We must ascertain the enemy's might, regardless of their nature!" Evander declared, his voice grim. Transforming into a bolt of divine light, he surged into the sky, pursuing them.
...
High in the upper atmosphere, the Titan and the monstrous Insectoid Abomination were locked in a tense standoff.
In reality, the blinding burst of light was the consequence of Orion's decisive action: he had disintegrated the massive shield, meticulously condensed by the Divine Templar, into a law-infused energy bomb, subsequently detonating it against their adversary.
Regrettably, even an energy bomb possessing such immense destructive potential failed to breach the defenses of the asteroid-sized Broodmother. If the attack achieved anything, it was to prematurely shatter the darkness enveloping the world through the clash between Orion and the Broodmother, thus alerting everyone to the insectoids' invasion earlier than anticipated. It was precisely due to this unforeseen development that Seraphina, Evander, and Kairon were able to detect the anomaly and hasten to his aid.
Moments later, Seraphina, Evander, and Kairon arrived, positioning themselves behind Orion. Together, their gazes were fixed upon the descending, planet-sized Broodmother.
"What in the heavens is that?" Seraphina vocalized, her profound terror lending an uncanny, delicate grace to her stunning eyes.
"Could this be the Insectoid Race?" Kairon's eyes remained riveted on the celestial horror, the tentacles trailing behind him thrashing with unrest. A deep sense of foreboding gripped his core. He could discern twelve distinct emanations of power radiating from the Broodmother, none of which were inferior to his own.
"How can there be so many?"
It was evident that Evander shared the identical sentiment. Confronting such a multitude of adversaries of equal standing instilled a palpable, chilling dread.
"Orion!" While Evander and Kairon remained momentarily paralyzed by the sheer magnitude of the impending threat, Seraphina moved to stand beside him. Clutching the Sea God's Trident, Moonwake, she adopted a battle-ready stance, signaling her unwavering resolve to perish by his side. Her intention was unequivocal: she would follow Orion's lead, advancing and retreating as a unified force.
However, Orion remained conspicuously silent. His brow was furrowed in a deep scowl, his gaze locked intently on the Broodmother asteroid.
"Giant King, we should..." Evander and Kairon stepped forward, preparing to join the fray alongside Orion.
But before the Human Demigod could even articulate the entirety of his sentence, twelve catastrophic projectiles descended from the Broodmother—six of them directly targeting their collective position.
"Fall back!"
Only then did Orion finally act, issuing a stern command. Under the bewildered stares of Evander and Kairon, Orion seized Seraphina and rapidly retreated, bolting directly towards his own territory.
Evander and Kairon weren't fools. Witnessing Orion's flight meant certain doom if they remained. In a mere instant, all four native Demigods of the Titanion Realm vanished without a trace.
...
The South, specifically the City of Blessings.
Within the opulent Blood Elf royal palace, Broodmother Laito found a perch on Rommath's shoulder. Together, they gazed skyward, mirroring their master's awe. The unfolding celestial event was utterly overwhelming, leaving Rommath in a state of near catatonia from sheer shock.
However, Laito's reaction was entirely different. Its head cocked, small, beady eyes quivering with frantic energy as a manic voice echoed within its mind.
Insect Queen Moriphara has descended!
The integration process is finished. The holy war is imminent. This is precisely the opportunity I need to ascend!
Combat! Let them shed each other's blood! The greater the chaos, the better!
Horath, Antarid... just you wait. I am coming to devour you both.
Laito possessed an intimate understanding of the events transpiring across the Titanion Realm. In times past, it had accompanied Insect Queen Moriphara on similar crusades to subjugate alien worlds. Laito knew the invasion patterns by heart – discerning when to seize valuable resources and when to burrow deep underground, awaiting the swarm's destructive passage.
The Titanion Realm has a critical shortage of Demigods. I must actively draw in external factions. It's the only viable strategy to sow complete pandemonium and prolong this conflict.
I need to devise a method to broadcast this world's coordinates into the void. Otherwise, Moriphara's overwhelming might will ensure a swift conquest, leaving no chance for my own rise.
As Laito's internal monologue raged, its eyes flared with chilling strategy. It was imperative to lure more outside forces into the Titanion Realm—ideally, Demigod factions that shared a mutual enmity with the insectoids. This alliance of necessity would compel these external powers to band together with the native inhabitants of the Titanion Realm, forming a united front against the encroaching swarm.
...
City of Stoneheart, specifically The Castle.
By the time Orion and Seraphina made their descent, the insectoids' devastating bombardments were already battering the entire globe.
"Giant King, why did we choose to retreat?"
"Giant King, what exactly did you witness?"
The instant Orion regained his footing, the Demigod phantoms of Kairon and Evander materialized, one after the other. They had pursued him relentlessly. Orion had been the first to take flight; without understanding his deductions, neither Kairon nor Evander could possibly find peace.
Orion cast a sharp look at the two. The Siren was direct in his questioning, while the Human adopted a more measured approach.
"The insectoids have arrived, and their forces are significantly more formidable than our initial estimations," Orion stated bluntly. "You should both return to your respective territories without delay."
This abrupt and seemingly nonsensical command left Evander and Kairon utterly bewildered. However, Orion's subsequent words caused the color to drain from their faces.
"The landmass of this world has undergone an immense expansion. The newly formed cosmic laws will impose restrictions on our divine power, drastically reducing your perceptive range. Furthermore, this evolving world has not only attracted the insectoids. Three entirely unknown Demigod auras have just penetrated our atmosphere and landed in disparate locations across the globe."
"If you do not depart immediately, your own homes will face utter devastation."
