Titan King: Ascension of the Giant Chapter 1525 More Than a Favor

Leonidas kept blabbering, lauding Orion sky-high. However, the cavern's air turned heavier and quieter by the second.
"Hey, come on, speak up!" Noticing his solo act, a cold shiver ran down Leonidas's back, like being eyed by a horrifying beast.
"So, you only showed up to brag?" Those sharp words came from Alexander, ever the one to oppose him. "Greedy folks who keep all the loot often face a brutal fate!"
Of course, it was merely a jab to rile Leonidas. Alexander, the Deputy Commander, and Arthas missed out on this recent raid. To them, Leonidas had claimed the entire bounty solo. They let Orion off easy; as the youngest, robbing the kid's share felt low. Yet Leonidas, their equal, drew real ire from his longtime comrades.
"Well... I just tagged along for numbers. I rode for free, really." Leonidas's tone lacked his typical bravado, sounding feeble. He'd anticipated this grilling.
"Heh... admitting you're bragging, huh?" Alexander mocked, his voice cutting like his blade. "If Hulk pulled you in, why skip us? Why not Dodd for the easy gain? Challenging Dodd's spot? Calling yourself Hulk's real teacher now?"
Silence gripped the cavern again. Arthas's quietness seemed like endorsement, leaving Leonidas fidgeting restlessly.
"Ahem... assassin, ease up!" Here, Leonidas truly felt bad. With Arthas fixed on defending the Ever-Burning Volcano, pouring everything into it, Leonidas and Kraken had bonded more with Orion lately. He felt like a cuckoo usurping another's home.
"Time for serious talk."
With Leonidas cornered, the Deputy Commander broke his silence at last. As their timeless mediator, he intervened whenever arguments stalled. The strained mood had built precisely for him to guide them straight.
"Ahem... you all know seizing an empire's simple; keeping it proves toughest." Leonidas coughed. "We claimed the world, yet the planar boundary array worries us. My little brother and I distrust the foes' leftover spells. Only if the old man handles the boundary array ourselves will feel secure."
Sly praise for the Deputy Commander made the elder's mustache tips curl up. Despite Demigod phantoms linking them, all imagined his pleased grin.
"Plus, our entry method dodged the boundary array via a secret weakness," Leonidas went on. "Old man, got a fix for that gap?"
His gaze shifted to the Deputy Commander. The elder stayed mute, clearly pondering deeply.
"The World of Eldoria hides a threat too. Our little brother's stuck inside, so I must urge the old man to head there."
Posing a huge chance as a 'threat' was a calculated emotional ploy.
"A threat? Foes got a secret weapon left?" Rare words from Arthas showed worry. "Did Hulk step into an ambush?"
Despite Alexander and Leonidas's barbs, everyone grasped why they stayed out: bound to the Ever-Burning Volcano watch. Orion excluded them to avoid pulling focus. Plus, though they missed shares, their proxies—Isabella and Makareth—feasted on rewards.
"You might call it stepping into a situation," Leonidas muttered evasively. To lure the Deputy Commander with the sealing temple and The Void, he held back details. "Unknown builders raised a sealing temple in ocean depths. Empty save one throne. The real wonder? Sealed on it: a spatial node straight to The Void in the World of Eldoria."
Leonidas's voice now carried an escalating, irrepressible thrill at this moment. Should Orion's discovered advancement method truly succeed, it might propel them all toward swift ascension. In just hundreds or thousands of years, they wouldn't rival Commander Zoble's supreme dominance, yet they could effortlessly annihilate most Demigods at the first or second stages.
"Once you sit upon that throne, a whole new realm unfolds before you," Leonidas urged. "The Void brims with beasts of every level, from mere chieftains to full Demigods."
Not a soul spoke up. Everyone grasped the basics of The Void. Regardless of the realm, mystical species always emerged, perfectly suited to its unique conditions. This stood as an eternal cosmic law: worlds birthed life without fail.
"You haven't told us what became of Hulk yet," Arthas pointed out. As he said it, his eyes involuntarily flicked to where Orion's Demigod phantom rested, worry clear on his face.
"The little brother is doing great. After running various experiments, he uncovered a world-shaking chance," Leonidas clarified. "He stretched the Divine Kingdom's World Tree roots via the spatial node directly into The Void. Seizing the moment, he grafted parasitically onto that realm's World Tree. Presently, our little brother evolves nonstop, his strength surging every instant."
Leonidas brimmed with elation, behaving as though the enormous power surge belonged to him.
Silence returned to the cavern again, yet this hush felt utterly transformed. It sparked a thick tension of eagerness and pressing need. The Deputy Commander, Arthas, and Alexander each commanded a World Dragon. If this approach held true, their own Divine Kingdoms and World Trees lay just ahead in time.
"Old man, the little brother mentioned that after slicing up the pie already, he lacks the nerve to request your help directly," Leonidas went on. "He plans to share his insights and the sealing temple with you, requesting in exchange that you visit and adjust that boundary array."
Leonidas acted with utmost cunning, shoving every bit of blame and notion onto Orion. Naturally, with Orion leading the World of Eldoria conquest, such wording held no real fault.
"Oh, and per the little brother, the sealing temple holds the essence. It's vital for locking the spatial node and concealing the World Tree's aura," Leonidas tacked on. "He believes you and your supporting magical groups will find it compelling."
Unbeknownst to themselves, Leonidas, Alexander, and Arthas fixed their attention wholly on the Deputy Commander. They awaited his judgment. Orion's triumph offered them a grand shot at victory too. With proper guidance and honed invasion tactics, they'd soon claim the ideal arena to unleash their might.
"Hulk sees farther than you do. He's spot on; the sealing temple stands as the pivotal piece here." Following prolonged quiet, the Deputy Commander's profound, elderly timbre echoed across the cavern at last, validating Orion's theory—while deftly trampling Leonidas's pride along the way.
