Titan King: Ascension of the Giant Chapter 1411 Titan's Lineage

Previously on Titan King: Ascension of the Giant...
Dirtclaw and Gustalon, Wardens of Blackstone City, discussed their shifts in purging Insectoid remnants amid the looming Great Shift, where the world's laws and mana density surge toward inevitable war and invasion from an unknown realm. Their conversation was interrupted by the triumphant return of the Stoneheart Horde's old guard—veterans like Onyx, Rendall, Thundar, and others—emerging from the underground teleportation array, ready to rejoin the fight and pursue ascension to the Stoneheart Titan lineage. Embracing their comrades, they planned a joint patrol to exterminate threats and showcase their mounts, while Blackstone City erupted in preparations for a grand bonfire feast honoring the warriors, drawing the entire Horde, including Orion and the royal household, back to its ancestral heart.

A truly magnificent display unfolded.

Word of the bonfire festival in Blackstone City raced across the vast Stoneheart Horde in only a handful of days, spreading faster than flames in dry grass.

The rush to participate in the event grew so intense that Orion, following Lilith's advice, ordered the creation of a grand teleportation array linking Blackstone City straight to Stoneheart City.

All at once, the elite and influential from every corner flocked to the icy northern lands.

"This spot... it's way more thriving than I ever pictured."

Grand Magus Rhazuun and the bard Cloudsong emerged side by side from the glowing portal. Rhazuun sensed the city's imposing presence without needing any detection spell; the majesty and energy of Blackstone City bore down on his awareness.

"Here's the real pulse of the Stoneheart Horde," Cloudsong noted with a sweeping gesture. "Notice those spires on the walls? A good many are magical inventions."

Through a bard's gaze, distinctive buildings often meant advanced arcane tech. The abundance of enchanted ballistae defending Blackstone City highlighted its key defensive role.

"This location..."

Unlike Cloudsong, Grand Magus Rhazuun ignored the structures. His eyes fixed beyond the outer barriers, on the central fortress, his pulse quickening fiercely in his chest.

"You're spot on. This is the essence," Rhazuun murmured, his tone strained. "Yet the peril... I believe only a Demigod could stroll here without fear."

Rhazuun felt no doubt. The force that had grazed his mind wasn't the Giant King.

Put simply, buried deep inside Blackstone City lurked a being that could endanger an Archlord—an ancient watcher, ever vigilant.

Cloudsong shot a look at Rhazuun. He picked up on his companion's discomfort right away but chose not to probe. Their purpose was the festival, to savor the local vibes, not to dig into hidden affairs.

"Let's go, old friend. Word is The Seekers run a outpost here. For the festival's sake, they're running an auction this evening." Cloudsong led the way into the outer quarters.

"Your group has forged ties with the Stoneheart Horde. That's worth toasting," the bard went on, steering talk to practical matters. "Aren't you thinking of broadening your arcane offerings in this place?"

"Just glance around. Ever-glowing crystal lights, shape-shifting elixirs, worker golems, recall crystals, restorative vials... such items could fetch a king's ransom here."

Cloudsong grinned, playing the advisor. "Magic's reach doesn't always start with old books and archives. Show the everyday people the ease of enchanted goods. They'll welcome you quicker, and with warmth."

Cloudsong dreamed big. He wouldn't share such in-depth plans unless Rhazuun was a trusted ally. Naturally, it benefited him too; as a wanderer, a realm lacking magic proved troublesome. His tools needed upkeep and power refills only a real guild could supply.

"Such ventures will start once the Order of the Dandelion sets up its local chapter," Rhazuun answered, trailing Cloudsong amid the crowded paths. "This realm remains pure. Arcane society will thrive within it."

He scanned the giants and assorted folk, many bare-chested despite the chill, radiating a primal, untamed vigor.

"Spot anything?" Cloudsong queried abruptly, lowering his voice. "The happiness in their expressions... it seems off."

"Off in what way?"

"It seems like they're expecting a revelation bigger than just a fire-lit gathering."

As an Archlord-tier being, Rhazuun picked up on such nuances. The crowds' grins concealed an excitement beyond a basic festivity.

"The truth is straightforward," Cloudsong declared, pivoting to him with a clever, informed smirk. Bards excelled at catching rumors. He held the key.

"All know the Giant King springs from the northern Giant kin. But Giants boast bloodlines."

"Stoneheart, Ironbone, Starveil, Shadowabyss. Four mighty clans. Our ruler, Orion, descends from the Stoneheart vein."

Cloudsong stamped his foot on the stone pavement, then jabbed a finger at the enormous Horde Hall looming over the central zone.

"Blackstone City birthed the Stoneheart Giants in this realm. It's their ancient homeland. See the weight of that now?"

Rhazuun inclined his head gradually. The Order of the Dandelion archived vast lore on kin histories. It was essential study. He recalled the Giant variants, but his grasp on this Horde stayed scholarly.

"Still," Cloudsong's voice turned grave and hushed. "That's not the crux. Do you grasp why I decided to stay on here?"

"Pal, few grasp this, but the Giant folk just spawned a fresh bloodline."

"Or put sharper... they advanced. They rose to a superior form of being."

Cloudsong drew closer. "They're known as Stoneheart Titans. And this Horde marks the birth of that heritage."

Titans.

It remained a guarded truth for top circles and niche groups.

"Rhazuun," Cloudsong uttered gently. "The Stoneheart Horde merits every bit of funding you can muster."

Certain matters required no elaboration.

After unleashing that revelation, Cloudsong wheeled about and sauntered along the avenue, whistling a melody, abandoning the Grand Magus rooted in the thoroughfare.

The dawn of a novel kin branch?

The Stoneheart Horde?

Titans?

Rhazuun's face moved from stunned vacancy to incredulity, then to frenzied delight, and at last to pressing need. He refrained from pursuing Cloudsong. Rather, he whirled, seeking a secluded nook. He had to reach the Order without delay. This altered all.

Not distant from Rhazuun and Cloudsong, yet another party stepped forth from the teleportation gate.

"Amazing! So this is Blackstone City?"

"It's nothing like Stoneheart City!"

The voice full of awe belonged to Lola, Twelfth Princess of the Sea-Drake kin. Raised wholly in ocean depths, a frosty northern stronghold like Blackstone felt utterly foreign.

"It sure stands apart from southern spots," a young lad's tone concurred.

Beside Lola stood Kronos, now shaped as a human boy.

He and his mother Ava had freshly reached Stoneheart City upon hearing of the fest. By pure chance, the portal route activated precisely then. Even better, a succubus servant awaited at the entrance, clutching a special invite.

Lilith had planned it. She aimed to honor Kronos and his mother fully.

Thus, Kronos and Ava got rushed to Blackstone City. Ava was guided right to the fortress's hidden portal, bound directly for the Horde Hall.

Kronos, though, lingered to escort Princess Lola as her guide.

"In what way different?" Lola inquired, twisting to flash him a smile.

Truth be told, Kronos in this tiny, boyish guise still struck her as bizarre. Without their shared tales of old times, she'd never accept this child as her old companion.
